Pixel Planet is an OpenSimulator grid that I run from my home computer. OpenSim is basically the open-source version of Second Life.
I distribute open source scripts and simple gadgets through my marketplace store in Second Life. My most popular item attempts to teleport your avatar into a full region every few seconds, so you can get in as soon as another avatar leaves.
