Although we were unaware of it, without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we all lived our lives upside down and back to front.

The McKenzie Books Package

Both of the McKenzie books now come as one book with each to be read separately from the front to the middle. That means that the cover of McKenzie’s Companion, will become the ‘back cover’ upside down of Who is McKenzie?

My reasoning is that I want the two books to have their own identity. The reader should know that these are two separate books that can be read on their own or together. In fact Who is McKenzie? will still be available as a stand alone, separate book to give to non-Christian friends and family members.

However, the new two books together come with clear introductions along with a suggested way to read/use them at the beginning of each book.

The general purpose of each book is to take the reader on a journey into Christ. Who is McKenzie? is an introduction to the character of McKenzie that will prepare the reader for McKenzie novels to follow. My hope is that, ultimately, it will lead non-Christians to Christ.

McKenzie’s Companion is a collection of short, easy to read devotionals that can be read by Christians for personal edification or by curious non-Christians as an exploration of selected scriptures from the bible. Read together, the reader will discover the scriptural context of McKenzie’s scenarios and, hopefully, through that, will see how Jesus Christ can be relevant, if not essential, in their own lives.

Group or Individual Study
For group or individual study I have included three pertinent questions that relate to both correlating McKenzie chapters from each book. The chapters of both McKenzie books relate to each other; chapter one lines up with chapter one, chapter two with chapter two….and so on, in each book.

I have placed the three questions on a fresh page after each chapter of McKenzie’s Companion leaving about one-third of the page blank under each question for the answers. In this way, the book (containing both McKenzie books) will also become the workbook for group or individual study. There are some blank pages around the middle of the book for personal notes.

With fifty chapters, at one per week, the ‘course’ will take a year to complete (allowing for two weeks off).

TheWayCM in Pakistan have been given the awesome resposibility of translating Bob Gass's Word for Today into Urdu for UCB's new Pakistani radio station.

Apart from broadcasting daily The Word for Today in Urdu on UCB Pakistan, it is hoped that, in time, the translations will be made into the booklet format that many of us are familiar with.

Salvation in Pakistan

The work of TheWayCM Pakistan began in 2009 when I (Peter Stanway) went there on mission*. It was an extremely busy time travelling all over Pakistan but most of the ministry took place in and around Multan., the fifth largest city in Pakistan. I ministered forty-five times during fourteen days. The Lord did great things among us and during that time we reached over 4,000 people many of whom were saved and baptised in the Holy Spirit.

Since then, TheWayCM Apostolic Team have established the first ever Christian Bible College in the city of Multan. Many students have been trained as leaders and there are now ten locations around Pakistan reaching up to 150 leaders who, in turn, minister to over 6,000 Christians.

Our plans are to develop the Bible College into a Training for Life (TFL) Centre where all five aspects of TFL (read more) will be taught. The bible-based spiritual element will remain the foundation for building changed lives; raising-up and releasing Christian leaders in the fullness of the five-fold ministries (Ephesians4:11-13).

At this moment, Pakistan is not a safe place for foreigners but you can still be part of TheWayCM’s mission work in Pakistan. Your prayers and your financial support will help us to fulfil the vision that God has given TheWayCM for Pakistan.

You may remember that my personal history is one of being an artist and photographer. This year, in October 2012, I will be exhibiting my art work in Granada, Spain and from there the exhibition is expected to travel to other cities and countries.

The exhibitions will be multimedia ‘events’ and will provide me with a platform to glorify the Lord. My last exhibitions in Spain were some twenty years ago and were called ‘Journeys’. These new exhibitions will be called ‘Journeys 2’ and will follow, in the main, my spiritual and physical journey with the Lord over the past twenty years.

Under the apostolic oversight of Apostle Asher and his team, The Way Christian Ministries (TheWayCM) in Pakistan will be making Christian disciples throughout all of Pakistan commencing January 2012.

In 2010 the first ever Christian Bible College (Hunook Bible College) was established in the city of Multan by TheWayCM in Pakistan. The graduates from Hunook have been reaching out into Pakistan throughout 2011 and now 10 groups of 10-15 leaders in 10 major cities in Pakistan will begin receiving our Training for Life Leadership Training to equip them to oversee the growing work of TheWayCM in Pakistan. Many thousands of Christian Pakistanis will benefit from this.

Rev Peter Stanway’s ‘live’ teaching input in mainly done via an online hook-up through Skype. However, Apostle Asher’s laptop has been damaged beyond repair. He has raised half of the cost of a new one. Can you help him raise the other half? He needs 30,000 Pakistani Rupees.
