Why prayer is so important?

2012-02-03T05:29:00.003-08:00

1.So that God will be Glorified - John 14:13

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.”

2.Learning deeper to depend on God – Acts 4:23-33

" ²³ On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. ²⁴ When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them. ²⁵ You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:

   “‘Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
²⁶ The kings of the earth rise up
   and the rulers band together
against the Lord
   and against his anointed one.
²⁷ Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. ²⁸ They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen. ²⁹ Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. ³⁰ Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
³¹ After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

The Believers Share Their Possessions

³² All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. ³³ With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all."

Prayers for the sick people

Dear Oh my Lord, My Jehovah Rapha, God who heals, You are the One I turn to for help in moments of weakness, sadness and times of need. I ask you Oh my God to be with your servant in this kind of illness. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. So then, please send your healing Word to your servant. In the name of Jesus, cast out all feebleness and sickness from his body. His cancer oh Lord, his tuberculosis, his ulcer, asthma... even venom to his body caused him to be hospitalized... Father GOD...let him touch by YOUR hands and be healed by your power....

Dear Lord, I ask you to turn this weakness and frailty into strength, suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for others. May your servant trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness, even in the midst of this suffering oh Lord. Let him be filled with patience and joy in your presence as he waits for your healing touch.

Please restore your servant to full health, dear Father. Remove all fear and doubt from his heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord, be glorified through his life.
As you heal and renew your servant, Lord, may he bless and praise you.

By the blood of Jesus! Yes you are the God who heals! No other name can heal us... but YOU!

All of this I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

WALA KANG KATULAD..

2011-10-19T04:11:00.000-07:00

IKAW HESUS ANG nagbuwis ng buhay para sa aming kaligtasan.. sabi nga sa John 3:16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (NIV).
