2014 ended with the production of an introduction video for our client, CalRamic Technologies LLC. CalRamic manufactures high voltage ceramic capacitors that are utilized in aerospace, deep space exploration, geothermal, commercial and industrial use.

I'm proud to say, with the incredible photos taken by Jeff Ross Photography, industry footage and some serious script writing, Sherri Del Soldato was able to produce a pretty cool video about an industry many may not understand.

2013 Animated Short Oscar Winner - Paperman

On occasion I'll be sharing info and news about the Animation Industry. For those that don't know, I'm a huge Animation and Visual Effects nut. In fact, a new start-up is in development that embraces my passion for the industry. (I'll keep you posted on its progress starting in a few weeks.)

Today I'll be sharing Paperman by Disney Animation Studios. This great animated short won this year's Oscar for Best Animated Short. I had the pleasure of seeing it for the first time at SIGGRAPH 2012. BTW - SIGGRAPH tends to feature future Oscar winners so my early prediction is The Blue Umbrella by Pixar...I'm just saying...

Paperman on Google

If you are looking for a classic Disney love story then this is the short film for you. The animation style is similar to 101 Dalmatians, which is one of my favorites. Cruella DeVille is one of the best Disney Villians...EVER! OK, I digressed just a bit. No I won't give the story away, but spend the $1.99 to see a classic animated short. Then let me know what you thought.

Adele Trebil Commercial Property Feng Shui Video

In May (2013) my client, Adele Trebil, asked me to produce an introductory video for her new website: www.TheBreakthroughEnvironment.com. The video is a series of still photographs describing the Feng Shui successes and challenges at a commercial property in Reno, Nevada.

Photographs and audio were provided by Adele. Audio editing and mastering was competed by JetKor's Art Director. I had the pleasure to complete the production with editing and effects. The 5:51 video was completed in about 5-hours.

My team and I have worked on several projects for Adele. Her audio series is also available on her website. The Breakthrough Environment provides annual Feng Shui based forecasts, personal forecasts and a NEW web series is expected this Fall.

As of July 22nd Google is making Mobile SEO more critical than ever. If you have an AdWords account it will be automatically updated to spread your advertising dollars across mobile and desktop platforms. Organic SEO will be greatly affected by the functionality of your mobile site.

JetKor Releases New Website

Yes, it's true! JetKor has a new logo and website.

It was definitely time to modernize my logo.

Most people aren't too familiar with the greek alphabet and the sigma always threw them off. BTW-Sigma stands for Total, just in case you were curious. Now the logo is more characteristic of the meaning behind JetKor, which heralds back to my weather days. Think TV weathermen (I can say men because I'm a girl) talking about the jet stream. However, I digress...

Long gone are the days of burnt-orange and red. You are now visiting the modern sci-fi site of my dreams; 12 years in the making. Have fun with the portfolio spinners implemented by my Art Director found on the Web Design and Graphic Design pages. Obviously I've opened a can of worms by creating a Blog. Visit often to read the latest and greatest news about JetKor, our fantastic clients and our techno-creative world.

The months ahead will be very exciting for the JetKor gang. We're developing media portfolio packages that go beyond handing a DVD to a station manager or casting agent. Also, we're developing cutting edge web programming that we like to call...Web3.5.
