(2) the comfort fit feature is awesome; on most of the rings I've tried - It is exactly what it claims to be. I found the sizing to be accurate. For those with large (or disproportionately large) knuckles, the comfort fit feature is awesome; on most of the rings I've tried, even if the final fit was alright, getting past the knuckle was always a challenge, but I haven't had any of that with this ring. The high polish finish is more shiny than the stock photo would suggest. The price is pretty great, and for anybody shopping from outside the US, the Amazon Global program works exceedingly well (at least it did for me). I bought from (and had delivered to) Japan, where the premium on wedding-related jewelry is generally just short of highway robbery, and Amazon (and DHL, hats off to them, too) took care of all the customs and logistics - ordered on Monday US time, and was delivered Thursday Japan time. No additional paperwork or duties to be paid, just a normal delivery and signature.

One issue is and has always been tarnishing. As an issue, oxidation has been at the forefront to people’s resistance to buy and wear Sterling Silver Jewelry. Silver tarnishes. Some companies for years plated their silver with Nickel which is beautiful, shiny and does not tarnish. But recently it has come to light that people are many times allergic to this metal. So lately Rhodium from the platinum family of metals was used. There are other coatings which to a greater or lesser extent slow or try to stop the tarnishing process.

However, all the methods have downsides to them. Most notably is the fact that if Silver is plated with a super thin coat of another metal or e-coating or any sort of anti-tarnish agent, its plating starts to erode and come off over time and the result is far worse than simple tarnishing and can ruin the Silver Jewelry altogether.

We opted for a far different approach. We do not plate ANY of our Jewelry with any sort of anti-tarnish coating. What To Look For In Sterling Jewelry

Our Snake Chains

Sterling Silver Jewelry has always been a more affordable alternative to Gold and one should be sure to choose the right thickness for a particular use. For instance, let’s use the following "rules" to help us choose.

If worn alone, the thinnest available box or Singapore chain works. You can also use the thinnest box chain for very small lightweight pendants just fine.
For a dramatic approach the shiny 8-sided magic snake chain is a good choice. Not usually used for heavy pendants though because too much side pressure can cause it to kink.
For heavier pendants, the 2MM Rope Chain is great and super sturdy. It can handle just about any weight of pendant anytime.
For multiple Chain combinations, we always go with the thinnest for the shortest one and thicker up the line to a total of maybe up to 5 chains.

Wrapping it All Up

HOT STUFF! Smelting Sterling Silver

The Smelting Process to make .925 Sterling Silver is a VERY exact process. The metals are mixed precisely and heated to an exact temperature. This is then pushed out through the bottom into a .925 Sterling Silver Rod about ½ inch thick. Then the rod is rolled through rollers that stretch out the Silver into a wire that is thinner and thinner all the way down to what is needed to make a particular chain.

We supervised and quality checked each step of the process to ensure our products met with our specific needs before we decided to use that Factory to manufacture Designer Sterling Silver Chains..

The Singapore Chain is a very difficult chain for a Factory to get right. We searched high and low and finally found the one Factory that specializes in this type of chain exclusively.

It goes on easily by yourself and stays put without strings hanging down. Also it is adjustable. You take the point if a knife and pop up the metal edge on either or both
side and you can pull the leather forward, cut off the excess and reclasp the teeth into the new leather edge. Also the end beads on either side of the design fit really
snug so the beads stay put but you can move them off at the same time you adjust the length allowing you to take off any beads you don't want or add a bead as well. A
little bit of a pain but not too bad. And you definately can't beat the price. I couldn't buy the materials for this price. Very happy.

Like most people who were born and live in Gianyar Regency, Buana has been surrounded by handicrafts since he was a child. Gianyar is a part of Bali known throughout the world for its beautiful landscapes and exceptional artistic legacy. Handicrafts like shadow puppets made of cowhide, woodcarving and silver jewelry are created there in towns like Tegalalang, Ubud, Sukawati and Celuk. In 1990, Buana decided to learn to craft silver jewelry from a friend in Celuk. He learned it all, from the very basic skills like sanding, polishing and making plates to very advanced techniques. Supported by his family, Buana has continued his profession as a silversmith. "I am thankful to God for giving me such a great gift so I can make a living for my family. Not much, perhaps, but enough for our simple way of life," he says. "Hopefully through Novica I can offer a better future to my wife and two children."

(2) Gorgeous silver necklace with a heart shaped deep blue stone - I worked in the jewelry industry for many years and learned everything i could about it. From metal to stones, from cuts to carats, I learned it all and became a certified jewelry tech. Because of this, I thoroughly review jewelry pieces and provide as much information as I can. This silver tone heart-shaped necklace is a very pretty necklace and looks to be made well.

Stone & Setting: -This necklace has a deep blue heart shaped stone layed in a silver star wrapped setting with small stones. These stones do not look to be genuine precious or semi precious gemstones to me, and for the price, I would not expect them to be genuine. Swarovski crystals are man made crystals made in Austria. The “Made with Swarovski Elements” label on the product certifies that the piece was made with authentic Swarovski crystals. The absence of genuine stones does not take away from this necklace - it is still VERY pretty. The back of the pendent has a silver overlay with cut out stars and the words " I love you to the moon and back" cut out of the metal.

Chain & Clasp: The chain on this necklace looks to me like a singapore type chain, which is not considered the strongest style, but I would not expect it to break easily. The opening of the pendent that holds the chain is large enough that, if the chain were to break, replacing the chain with another would be easy. The clasp is a lobster claw type clasp and is one of the most durable clasps and also the easiest to operate. The opposite end of the chain has a built in extender to make lengthening and shortening the chain easy.

Metal: This necklace is a silver color but does not have the 925 marking to indicate that it is genuine sterling silver. For this reason it would not be categorized as fine jewelry but more as costume jewelry. I would not let this keep me from purchasing it though, it is a very lovely piece of jewelry.

Presentation: This necklace comes in a hard cardboard box with a white velvet lining. This makes it very easy for gift giving.

Overall, a very nice piece of jewelry! I think this would make a great gift for women of all ages. It looks much nicer in person than in pictures.
