The knotting between the pearls is so tight that the necklace will not drape properly or lay flat. The pearls themselves seem OK, but not of sufficient weight to pull the kinks out of the knotting. Just got this because i love collecting pendants and anything Phoenix related and this is great. Exactly as described and received it at the expected time. Ive ordered from this seller before and have had no problems. The pendant itself is about the size of an adult thumb and has a fairly good weight to it. I wouldn't recommend this for kids tho as it is a sharp item. Wouldn't recommend sleeping with it also. My daughter (age 15) bought this for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day this year. Having never ordered from this company, I was a bit nervous but I usually trust purchases made through Amazon so decided to give it a try.

I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived on Thursday with expediated shipping. The cross is very attractive and appears to be of high quality. The leather cord is fairly thin and smooth but goes well with the sleek look of the pendant. The 18 inch cord worked just fine since her boyfriend is fairly thin and it was't too tight on him (actually had plenty of room).

This pendant is very nice looking but unfortunately there is a major problem with the way it is designed. The loop at the top where the chain goes through sticks straight backwards past the edge of the pendant and then down to where it is attached to the back of the pendant. Because the loop sticks out towards your body, it causes the top of the pendant to push forward and not lay flat against you. The top bulges out away from your chest making the pendant face down towards the ground and also to roll to the side. You can't even see the true look of it when you are wearing it because it's angled down.
