Goody #ComePlay2013

2013-11-01T01:11:00.000+08:00

Last September 14, Goody organized another #ComePlay event for all Goody girls out there! Happy to join it for the first time, there were games, photobooth, tutorial, freebies and ofcourse a chance to meet other Goody girls. :) Here are some of the photos I was able to take that day;

We got instaxed that day, just the photo, not the instax itself, silly! :) Hehe

Too bad we have to leave a little bit early and missed Kryz, Laureen and Camille's talk because it was my relative's birthday party in cavite, well it's just a small gathering but even small everyone in the family is the required to be there.

Since I don't want to be overdressed for that small gathering, I've decided to go on a comfy, simple yet still proper for Goody #ComePlay event and here's what I came up with;

Please hype this on lookbook here :)

These wedge sneakers has been with me since I was in college and wasn't able to use it that much. Little did I know, sneakers wedge is a trend now so I pull it out from where it was hidden and tada! Hope you liked my simple outfit! If you were also there last Sep 14, I would love to see how was the event when we left. :)

August BDJ Box

2013-10-29T23:19:00.000+08:00

I've been following Belle de Jour since college but when they had this BDJ Box I never had the courage to subscribe because 1. By subscribing very month, I will get different items 2. How am I supposed to use all of that? and 3. It's freaking 500+. But recently, I gave in (low EQ hehe) and bought my first ever BDJ Box.

For this August, they prepared an extra special box for every BDJ girls out there by giving first dibs on Shiseido's newest skin care products.

I personally like the eye cream, since my eye-bags always tends to go my way. Next is the gentle cleanser which after using I can really feel that my face is a lot smoother (not kidding!)

So I'm happy with my first ever BDJ Box knowing that I will not receive make -up very month! Tehee

Kudos BDJ Team! :)

How about you guys? Ever tried BDJ Box for the first time? I would love to hear your thoughts and ofcourse your unboxing! :)

Forever Summer

2013-10-28T23:30:00.001+08:00

I promised to go back to regular programming 10 months ago. And I'm here now! Teehee

To easily pick up the mood my lovely readers (i hope you are still there, hello!) let me start my welcome back post with my favorite topic, which is summer!

Last April, i celebrated my birthday at Boracay and it was the most memorable birthday-slash-summer ever.

Went with my mom and my bestfriend and I couldn't be any happier. Let me share with you what happened in our 4 days vacation through photos.

First day;

Summer OOTD

(Rage Republic Swimwear, F21 denim cover, Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts)

Parasailing

Sandlovin'

Parawsailing

Aww.. Breathtaking

Second day;

Groupies! :)

(On me, Tomato swimwear)

Zorbing

Summer at the 2nd Avenue

Pretty tanned Gelli Victor :)

Baihana

Boracay doesn't need filter, curves or any editing techniques. Charming it is! Well spent birthday-slash summer on eating, beach bumming, night outs, and eating again! :) Hehee.

Do you guys have any unshared summer stories like me? Spill it out now! :)

Goodnight everyone!

2013

2012-12-31T13:39:00.001+08:00

Well hello there! It's been a while! It's been 9 months.

I have been very bad with my blog, really bad. But here I am again!

I got a new job last march, which I really love by the way, which explains the 9 months hiatus.

This one will be a quick post. But I think I'll be having more... soon. :)

Dressup and get ready as it is the time to welcome and embrace the New Year with hope and spirit. May this New year brings you immense happiness in all you do! Happy 2013!

Love,

Jenine :)

Botanical Garden X Mines View Park

2012-03-03T10:56:00.000+08:00

Right after grand street parade we checked-in in our transient then took lunch and start strolling! First up is, Botanical Garden.

Rihanna or more like Nicki Minaj? Haha

Next is Mines View Park

Cars are already stuck on the way to Mines View so we decided to just walk, didn't know it was that long!

No, that's not a kid who will commit suicide.

St. Bernard dog is the cutest.

View from Mines View

After this, I am so tired! We also squeezed in other places in between places but doesn't have decent photos because I ran out of memory! Gahh. Expect lot of Baguio on next posts. I'm not yet done editing them. Haaa. Happy Weekend!

Panagbenga 2012: Grand Street Parade

2012-03-01T21:09:00.000+08:00

I still have hangover with our Baguio trip! :) I miss everything! Went there for this year's Panagbenga Festival and here's a photodiary of the Street Parade happened last Saturday(Feb 25).

We're a bit late according to our itinerary. Hee. Supposedly we will arrive in baguio around 6am, but the traffic in tarlac is horrible to think it's already 3 or 4 am. Arrived at baguio around 8, we didn't waste a moment went straight to lower session (if there is such! Haha) and pick a spot.

We bought our trusty kiddie mat, it's useful! We ate while waiting for the parade to start.

To start off!

It was colorful, vibrant, lively and beautiful! Definitely one for the books! The costumes, the bands, and the igorots hehe, I love them! It was my first panagbenga festival by the way, so imagine my excitement, I'm super giddy until now. Okay, i'm OA. Haha. Have you been to this year's flower festival? Share your stories! :)

Twice a charm

2012-02-29T23:12:00.001+08:00

Here's a decent photo of what I wore to our Day 1 Baguio Trip :)

F21 Sweater, Cotton On shorts, S&H Boots, Khush Bonnet,

Topshop Belt

Does this outfit look familiar? Haha. I love my shorts and boots combo! Perfect for Baguio's weather, shorts to complement the strikey sun and sweater to keep me warm because of the chilly wind.

Goodnight everyone! :)

Touchdown Baguio.

2012-02-28T23:27:00.000+08:00

Went to Baguio over the weekend with family and friends for Panagbenga. I'm so excited to blog all about it, but first stop first: Lion's Head :)

Feeling tourist lang. Haha!

Sorry no outfit post, I was super busy taking pictures. I wore my favorite combo though, my trusty cotton on denim shorts and aldo boots! :) I'll be doing separate posts for everything. For now, have a goodnight sleep everyone! :)

Happy 4th Baby!

2012-02-28T22:43:00.000+08:00

My baby turned 4 last Feb 19. I got caught up at work and wasn't able to buy cake so I bought a cupcake instead. Hehe

Love you lottie!

Happy 5th Birthday, Nuffnang!

2012-02-21T09:08:00.000+08:00

When I started blogging just for self expression, I never really knew the basics of a blog. I didn't know I have to put ads or some kind of editing to make it more appealing. I was a kid back then, I was a true blue blog hopper, link after link after link. Inspired by my favorite blogs I tweaked my blog then read some tips on how to add readers more than just myself. I tried to sign up for some affiliate programs so that I could add color to my blog. Again I was a kid and didn't know that I could actually earn by using them. To cut it short, I am a copy cat. Haha. I got old and remove some ads that I totally forgot how to log in them and check the status of my posted ads. Then stick to nuffnang. Really, no kidding.

I was envy back then though, I only have the same campaign all over, while my favorite blog has different campaigns. But now, I'm happy that after being a 1 year and so months of being a nuffnanger, I love it. Is it just me or that campaigns in my blog are really awesome these days?

I just want to thanks Nuffnang for being part of my blog life! I wish you more campaigns and more power to your team! With this, they are celebrating their 5th Birthday on February 27. Wear your awesomesauce blue dress and party with Nuffnang team and other nuffnangers at Borough, The Podium Mall, 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

This was even made possible by their loving sponsors:

Happy Birthday nuffnang! Bring it on!

Happi Barentain Dee.

2012-02-15T06:58:00.000+08:00

I was eating fish katsudon from a random Japanese restaurant and I decided to look for the translation of Happy Valentines Day in Japanese, funny I came across at Yahoo Answers then it said that it's Happi Barentain Dee. Haha! I can't help myself but to literally laugh my ass out here in front of the computer. I learned something though, they don't really say Happy Valentine's Day. They do celebrate by the women giving men chocolate. They call this giri-choko. Cool.

I don't have a date today. Boo. My sweet guy will be out in the office around 9pm, if I waited for him I'll probably starve to death. No, I don't do waiting in vain. Hehe. Will celebrate Valentines everyday nalang! Cheessssyyy. lol

Anyhoo, I'll leave you some polaroid pictures from ze Hot Air Balloon Festival. =)

Happy Valentines everyone! <3<3<3

Zebra plus Bows

2012-02-13T21:14:00.000+08:00

Went to the christening of my best friend's baby yesterday and this is what I wore.

Thrifted Zebra Print Top, Levi's Jeans, Gold Dot Shoes,

Mango Sling Bag

Hype this look on Lookbook and Chictopia <3

I chose pants yesterday for no reason but just to add a little formality since I'll be attending a christening I wore this sleeveless zebra print top, it grabs attention but still right for the occasion. Also my new gold dot flats complements my top well. I am becoming a little lazy to pile accessories because of the weather, it's sunny then will rain later on.

Happy Monday everyone! Work week again :)

17th Hot Air Balloon Photodiary

2012-02-12T20:49:00.000+08:00

It's my second year and I'm loving it. This year though was a little bit hard, we arrived early but we were welcomed by a heavy traffic. We decided to walk so we can get to the field right away while my dad will look for a good parking space. Super

It was super hot that day, literally. Come think of it it's only 8 in the morning and I could already suffer from heat stroke, thanks to McFloat for keeping me hype.

I have to warn you this is such a heavy photo post.

Good thing my eyeglass is not visible. Haha

With Eyeglass photo number 2, yay!

We're super tired. I just had to take a quick snack... On the grass.

One thing I noticed yesterday, I saw a lot of cute dogs! Also you must've notice me first time wearing eyeglasses. I am near sighted, jez sharing hehe.

This is really the best event to go with your family. For us, after roaming the entire activity field, conquered the heat, almost stiffed neck looking up in the sky, we set up a foldable mattress or some kind of a kiddie mat and had a wonderful lunch in the grass. I cannot complain how hot and hard it is as long as I'm with my family.

So that's it for my weekend, how about you guys have you been to this year's balloon festival? I'm glad to see your stories! :)

Pale

2012-02-11T23:40:00.001+08:00

Went to the 17th Hot Air Balloon Festival today with my family. As always, I love balloons! This year they look all the same, maybe it's because of the color. I still love them! Will post some of the pictures tomorrow.

Here's what I wore. :)

Thrifted Aztec Top, Cotton On Denims, S&H Boots

Yup I look pale or more like dehydrated? This was taken after we conquer the scorching grounds of Clark Airfield. Just for the love of balloons.

I was hesitant at first to wear this loose top because it's super cold in the morning, but since we're running late I didn't change na. Come 8 in the morning it was like summer! Sobrang init, swear. Plus points I wore my boots because I would probably end up with a dirty feet. Haha

By the way, I've been using this Aztec top for like 2 times in a week since I got it. Comfy? Check! Print? Check! Subtle sheer back?(No photo) Check!

Hype this look on Lookbook and Chictopia :)

Say hello!

2012-02-11T20:56:00.001+08:00

Thanks to #golddotflashsale

S&H Boots

Totally inlove with my new Gold Dot shoes. The pumps is awesomesauce, the platform detail is scene stealer. The flats are unique. For a change, studded boots! <3

Polaroid Loving

2012-01-28T14:50:00.002+08:00

Yay. I love polaroid!

Only if it weren't cutting my head off. :P

I've always wish to live in the 60's or 70's, because of filmed cameras. Not to mention the influence it brought to the fashion industry now a days. But still, I'm thankful I am in the generation of modern technology, where we can always just go back in the centuries we've never been to. Not the original way, but in our crazy little ways.

Secret Garden

2012-01-28T11:20:00.000+08:00

If it's not too obvious, I love florals.

Sorry about my piercing eyes, my eyes cannot take too much sun, it hurts my head.

Thrifted Floral Buttondown, Forever 21 Bandage skirt, Parisdreams Wedges, Impulse Co. Satchel, The Bling Project Peacock Ring

My closet is like a secret garden full of flowers. I seriously thought that florals are the best way to keep you look sweet and classy.

For this look, I opted to wore a skirt to keep it sexy a little bit since my top is already girly. I keep my accessories minimal, I think it'll be less visible because my top says HELLO! The color of my buttondown is super bright, swear!

Happy weekend everyone! I'm still sleepy. Haha

It's ending in 3days! :)

Twice the Print

2012-01-24T09:00:00.005+08:00

I always have this tendency to build my outfit whenever there's a piece in my closet that instantly catch my attention. Take this outfit for example.

Thrifted Top and Scarf, Tommy Hilfiger skirt, Cole Vintage Clogs, Topshop Belt, Steve Madden watch, Ai Fash Accessories

I focused my outfit around nude colors, anything around brown, cream, and off white because of this scarf that I got from my favorite thrift shop! Plus it blends well with my overused belt.

This is a backlog outfit shot, with all those lucis on the floor, it's obvious this was taken days after new year. Haha. Anyhoo, please hype my looks on Lookbook and Chictopia. That means a lot to me!

Don't forget to join my MAUVE Giveaway. :)

Midnight Snack?

2012-01-23T16:00:00.001+08:00

Somebody get my arse out of bubble tea. I can't get enough of them!

Unfortunately, I can't remember what we ate that night since all I know is that I'm super starving! Will ask joana first! Hah! Are you craving for bubble tea too? Lemme know your favorites!

Pit Señor

Liquid Pool and Lounge

2012-01-22T21:00:00.000+08:00

Honestly I never been to Manila Ocean Park for reasons I don't want to include na. So, yup! Kudos to BYB Media for choosing Liquid Lounge and Pool as their venue which left me no choice but to go there! Sadly, I didn't get to see the Ocean Park itself with all those seafood, chos!

Like a Boss, Party and Fashion Show was held at LIQUID Pool and Lounge. It was HotelH2O's first and newest Pool Lounge venue in Manila. Inside Manila Ocean Park's Acquatica is an oasis amidst the bustling metropolis.

Who is LIQUID? An epitome of class, sensuality, and playfulness. A mirror of today's vibrant youth and fabulous nights. An image of elegance, energy, and sophistication. LIQUID mingles with the young and the “hip” who, like her, love to meet new people and hang-out in exquisite party spots.

It was indeed different from other bar that we used to hang out.

My only fear is, what if I get drunk and tripped off? Sayang outfit!

Well if you're the person who just want to drink and doesn't want to party (why go to bar? joke!), the place right beside the bar is right for you. Away from all the noise and people partying

VIP Section. I love bean bags! Again thank you BYB Media for ze VIP!

You may visit Liquid Pool & Lounge at Hotel H2O Manila Ocean Park Complex, Behind the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta Manila. They're open Tue-Fri: 7:00am - 3:00am, Sat: 12:00pm - 3:00am and Sun 12:00pm - 9:00pm. Like them in Facebook for updates! :)
