As you all should know, I am not a very active blogger who is seemingly capable of blogging out each and every second of the events happening around us instantaneously.

But thanks to Samsung and Shaz, delightedly I got the invitation to the Samsung 3D LED TV Launch happened at KLCC on 31st March.

and be one of the first few in Malaysia to experience 3D LED TV! :)

Shall I present to you..

The Mesmerizing Samsung 3D LED TVs!!

I believe most of you have watched Avatar in 3D.

It's brilliant, isn't it?

But to watch it in 3D, we had to go through a lot of hassles.

I remember how desperately I wanted to watch it with my friends that time but all the tickets in the cinema were either purchased or reserved.

But we still wanted to watch it in 3D no matter how!

So my friend came out with a cheeky idea (which most of you might have already done). We put on our thick skins, standing first in the queue and allowing others behind us to go first while waiting for the time when the uncollected reserved tickets were unlocked to come.

We stood there for almost an hour, just to make sure no one else got the unlocked tickets before us.

And voila, we got to enjoy the movie in 3D finally :)

But, do we really need to go through these to enjoy the 3D movies?

Not to mention about the unsatisfying and uncomfortable 3D glasses provided in the cinemas.

The answer is of course, No! at least not now anymore.

Samsung has put an end to the tragedy by delivering the first ever 3D LED TVs to your home!

No more tacky paper glasses with blue and red plastic film lenses, no more queues to wait on or extortionate popcorns to douse with chemical butter.

All you need is just..

A Samsung 3D capable TV

and

A pair of Samsung 3D Glasses

( Don't you ever belittle them, they employ an active liquid display (LCD) shutter system, whereby both lenses synchronize with the 3D content by alternately darkening and lightening each side, displaying the corresponding right and left image. )

and

The launch was quite awesome

They had professional staffs explaining at each station, clearing everyone's doubts

With Samsung LED TV, you can now not only watch high definition TV but also YouTube videos as it comes with Internet@TV feature which allows you to receive internet content via web widgets from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, Blockbuster, Netflix etc. Whoa! That means you can simply just tweet using your remote control while lying down on your comfy sofa! Bravo!

Besides, the Samsung LED TV is equipped with DLNA Wireless function that allows you to transfer your videos, music and photos from your computer or DLNA mobile device wirelessly and with ease! You can also utilize the USB 2.0 Movie feature which allows you to simply plug in your camera and then instantly play, save or delete your digital pictures and videos on the Samsung LED TV. The other day, I was having some significant talk with my intellectual friends.

We talked about how fish defecate, and proudly we came out with a statement:

"Fish Defecate Through Their Mouths."

Alright, don’t believe it?

Let me prove it to you.

First, we all know that we humans do defecate, and we defecate through our gluteal areas.

[ Humans -> Defecate -> Gluteal Areas ]

And then, we also know that our gluteal areas are used to pass gases too.

[ Gluteal Areas -> Pass Gases ]

When we pass gasses in the water, they are released in the form of bubbles.

[ Pass Gases -> Release Bubbles ]

Next, we know that fish release bubbles through their mouths,

(If you don’t believe this, go and ask or look at any of the drawings of the little kids, even kindergarten kids can tell you this.)

[ Fish -> Release Bubbles ]

and that releasing bubbles actually refers to passing gases,

[ Release Bubbles -> Pass Gases ]

which means, fish pass gasses through their mouths!

You know what? I was thinking:

"Hmm.. how should I start this post.. It's the first post of the year 2010, and also the first post after me going missing out of the blue for two months."

Deliberately, I thought, I thought, and I thought.
And then aha! Something came into my mind! I could just start the post like this!
(And so it all started without you realizing it! XD)

You didn’t realize it, did you? =P
Haha, uhm.. Alright. I'm not going to tell you what I did in the past 60 days,
(Don't catch me, I didn't really count.)
but perhaps, some memorable highlights for 2009? =)

1. My college life started and now I learnt quite a number of languages already.
Yea, so feel free to speak to me in those language but I can't guarantee I can reply you in the same manner.
(Wait until I can speak in C or Java or VisualBasic.Net etc. fluently.)

2. I got my driving license and the nightmare started.
Uhhh.. now I learnt the lesson. Don't choose a college that is far far away from where you stay!
Everyday I need to wake up damn early just to avoid traffic congestion. Then I have to travel about 40 - 60 minutes just to get to my college... uhh.. everyday.. I'm gonna get mad soon.. T_____T
Anyway, ignore my previous "advice" and take this: Don't ever think driving is fun!! DON'T EVER!!

3. I finished my Grade 8 Piano with high distinction!!
Hooray!! XD But I think I was just lucky lah. My piano skills are not as good as what it appears to be in your mind now. So, screw it. Next.

4. I went caroling for the first time in my life!
IT WAS AWESOME I TELL YOU. We hit five houses and below is a scene of the first house we visited. =D
Yeah, I am one of the monkeys in green. Spot me and I will buy you an alienware.

5. YOUTH CAMP YOUTH CAMP!!
Need I say more? It's youth camp! IT'S YOUTH CAMP!

This was indeed a great experience that I couldn't miss, and I never regret for skipping my classes to join the camp. (oops)
Hmm.. I had a lot of fun and learnt really a lot in this camp.
Sorry and thanks to all the game committees especially Alvin for your patience and guidance whenever I gave hassles. Six is indeed a great number for the game committees. You guys are just too amazing!

6. I first spoke in tongue when the holy spirit fell on me.

The feeling was very warm and special. God is just too wonderful. Thank you for answering my prayers and helping me to learn the secret of using every adverse wind as an opportunity to soar when I was in the midst of difficult circumstances. You make music out of misery, a song out of sorrow, and success out of every setback. I will continue to seek you and develop a Christ-like character for you have called me out of darkness and into your wonderful light. I love you Father Lord. Amen.

Was just too tired last night,
here I'd like to add in just a few lines of thanks (to the previous post).

First of all, thanks to my piano teacher, Melissa, for her utmost effort and patience in guiding me throughout the years. And the knowledge she shared and the time she spent, extra classes and all, your dedication is much appreciated. (",)

and thanks to my cell group too, especially Vincent, for praying hard for me to pass the exam with flying colours ^^

and of course, thank God :)
for giving me comfort in my heart and asking me not to give up whenever I feel down.

Most importantly, thanks to my parents for giving me lifetime support and love, especially my mom, who had a beautiful dream since young but unfulfilled, passed it to four of us but we did not really appreciate at first. Sorry for having broken your heart from time to time, yet your love was so great that you did not give up but continued showing care and laying hopes on us. I knew we were not as wealthy as what people outside thought of, or I should say, I knew exactly what problem you were facing. I felt so pain in my heart when I saw tears coming out from your eyes. I asked if it was okay if we stopped our piano classes and my sisters' ballet classes to ease the problem. That's the only way I could think of to really help the situation, but you scolded me badly and told me to learn it well no matter what happened. You worked days and nights, giving us all the best things you could. Your unconditional love and care, I will never forget in my life. Thanks mom..

And here, I would like to say thanks again to my piano teachers, Melissa and Auntie Judy, for giving me help and care when I needed the most.. Thanks a lot..!! Also, to my trial exam teacher, (sorry, I don't know your name.. Arthur's mom maybe? Tell me if anyone knows.. thanks) thanks a lot for the beautiful comments and advices. You gave me much motivation which led to my achievement today. Thanks!

and I finished my grade 8, finally.

Goodbye To My First Semester

..and hello, HOLIDAYS..!

but, hmm... do I really look forward to having holidays..?
Fifty fifty, I'd say.

And so this is the life. (Or, just mine)
When you are studying, you tell others how much you wished to have holidays;
But when you are on holidays, you tell others how much you wished to have school.

But there's one thing I'm very sure of. Whenever, or at whatever time, you won't tell how much you wished to have the time when you rushed so deadly for your bloody assignments and examinations that you could not even sleep well. Certainly not. (Alright, unless there's something wrong with you or me, or unless it's 20 years later from now, that we are so tired of working.)

And suddenly I realised, why am I talking all these.. lol .__.

Anyway, looking back..
It has been more than 4 months since I started my college life.
I met new friends.
(yea, a great wide range of friends. People from Botswana, Tanzania, Myanmar, Bangladesh and so on.. and even people from 19-year-old to 28-year-old)
I started to drive.
I joined cell group.
I spent ample time in library and lab
I quit DotA. (lol, but continued yesterday)
I became a part time tuition teacher.
I watched a number of movies.
I participated in a (very) few events.
I played Eyemaze.
I argued with the lecturer.
I went PC Fair.
I learned a lot of things.
I spent days and nights on assignments.
I slept in a traffic jam.
I went for some gatherings.
I joined .Net Super Interest Group.

Ah, and the list goes on.

Eww.. Why am I telling you this again.
Aih, I'm just a bit bored, though I know I have a lot of necessary things to do.

Alright alright. Stop it. And let the pictures talk.
The first thing I did when my holidays started is, a jalan-jalan at the park nearby, which I always like to do. :)

I have...
one test (NML) and one presentation (SAD) in a week's time,
two group assignments (OS & SAD) to complete and one quiz (MORAL) in two weeks' time,
one more group assignment (PSPD) to complete in three weeks' time,
and (last but not least) one individual assignment (NML) to complete in four weeks' time.

ughh...

There was a celebration in my college yeterday (Friday), and this was the first time such harmonious feeling came over me. I've been staying in this so called 'multiracial and multicultural' country for 17+ years (or say, since I was born), but have never felt such a wonderful sense of calm and peacefulness I felt that moment.

Oh well, maybe it's just because I'm from Chinese private school, thus having not much chance to interact with other race students. Or maybe not. Maybe it's all because of you-know-who, who likes to classify us into different categories, instead of one nation. Alright, I don't want to talk much about that.

I am not racist. Skin colour is nothing to me but attitude is!
It's all about attitude..!!

Alright alright, seems like I went a bit too far.
Back to the topic.

Ah yes, the celebration was kinda nice. (oh, because there's always free food whenever a celebration is held XD)
and because I'm greedy too, I love food and I like to try X)
and here, I have to agree that food can really bring people together.
(or maybe not, maybe it just applies to those greedy people like me)

Hmm.. the Sikh food on that day was kinda nice but the Tamil food was a bit too sweet.. (will get diabetes one.. serious.. >"<) I like the Sikh drinks, err.. something like yoghurt milk, white in colour. (lol sorry, I don't know the proper name for that, ah, do tell me if you know, thanks.)

Anyway, wanted to take a few photos that day,
but too bad, I did not bring my camera.
So.. nevermind, there's always next time, right? :)

In closing:
Although I don't think there's any Sikh or Tamil reading this post,
still, Happy Belated Vaisakhi and Tamil New Year..!! :)
