So here I am!

Vic and Sade is my favorite show and I know there are those of you out there who can't stand the show... but it's THE show for me.

I do plan on podcasting a bit more, hopefully more in this style here. No reading of notes or scripts, simply off the cuff with a lot of editing.

I hoped to get an hour out of this but it boils down to about 30 minutes but it's packed with nothing but me as there are no sound clips.

I talk about my first few days of listening to the series, I talk about the family and their oddities, the odd things that show up over and over and some other things that deal with the show.

This may only be part one of the podcast or it might be the only part... who knows?

I'll try and supply another podcast in the next week or so that won't be about Vic and Sade...

Hope you will check back!

I put real emotion and feelings into this podcast. You will cry, you will laugh; the podcast today comes from my heart.
Vox-Pop started out as a quiz show in which people on the street were interviewed for small cash prizes (a dollar an answer!)

Soon after the tragedy of Pearl Harbor though, the show changed its format and became serious, with compelling interviews with servicemen and women and their families.

This is from April 15, 1940. The sound quality of the show is not perfect and I am still having some trouble with my microphone. My apologies for both.

The show starred Joel McCrea as Jace Pearson.

Feel free to send in your own bits and pieces of stuff - I will work with it!

Joseph Dunninger was a magician and a mentalist and caused excitement, fear and controversy over the airwaves, starting in 1942. His radio career was short-lived. He never claimed to be supernatural but did things that were beyond natural - or perhaps they were pure trickery...
Gale Gordon is one of my favorite actors despite the fact that he was never a star. He played on plenty of shows, each in a supporting role.

Two fun clips from Our Miss Brooks (as Mr. Conklin) and one from Fibber McGee and Molly (as Mayor LaTrivia.)
I talk very little in today's podcast.
