Its not all about eating too much and not exercising enough. You need to consider many things. Some of the reasons are not just with you thinking, some are social, some sexual, some genetics and so on. Eating a balanced diet also requires you to get a balanced outlook on your eating and living. Everything exists together, there is not just one problem or one answer. Prepare to be open minded and think carefully about what, how and where you eat. Who you eat with and who you have eaten with in the past all take their toll on your body.&lt;br /&gt;

There were no mobile devices. People would have the phone in the hall of their home. Burning off calories when they ran to answer it before it stopped.&lt;br /&gt;

Now we just take a phone from our pocket or bag and in the process help to gain weight. The average person would lose 2kg per year if they had to get up and answer a telephone that was in another room.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
other things that make us lazy are lifts and escalators, just walking up and down the stairs at work can shed the fat.&amp;nbsp;We were never designed to for comfort. We were evolved from beings that were constantly on the move, fighting against the odds to survive. Now the same amazing body has been set free of challenge by our intelligence. We have created comfort and in so doing created our own demise.&lt;br /&gt;

If you had a fat mother you also would find yourself getting fatter, the older you get.&lt;br /&gt;

If you had a period of time when you got fat but then lost it only to put on more the next time, might be due to the fact that your body created more fat cells when you got fat. When you got thin the fat cells only got empty, they did not disappear. Therefore when you eat fats and sugars the fats cells just absorb it all and you get fatter.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some people from indigenous populations are genetically programmed to be able to live on less calories. This is a genetic make up of the past when tribes would hunt for food. These people now eat a more calorie rich diet with less exercise and so just get bigger and bigger while the food companies get richer and richer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you eat less and exercise more the chances are you will lose some weight. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

I mention the psychology of not restricting your food intake as it tends to lead to over eating or binge eating. Straight away one woman sat up and said &#39;thats true&#39;. She had been attending another weight loss class and the information she was being given was that its ok to eat what you want, just balance and be mindful about what and when you eat. She said she felt free of the bindings of a diet and finally she had a good relationship with food.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Listening to her I gathered there was still some work to do , especially with her alcohol intake, but I was impressed about her new relaxedness about her weight. She had lost 10kg in a month. Meanwhile another women said she couldn&#39;t go to weight watchers because she new she had lost weight and could not wait the eat some of her favorite food after her weigh in. Sound familiar, food restriction causes binge eating.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So there you go, just a simple example from daily life. Keep your ears open and you will hear women talk about food and diet and body shape alot of the time. Restriction causes conflict and you cannot think about anything else.&lt;br /&gt;

Well it is true, if we decide to restrict our food intake many of us will actually consume more, especially binge feeding which makes us fatter and feel much worse about ourselves. Just try it now, for the next minute do&amp;nbsp; not think about the favourite food you love to eat. If you do, then tap your feet. Amuse yourself with how &lt;br /&gt;
many times you have to tap your feet. Some of you will be straight for the fridge or the cookie jar when you try not to think about your favourite food.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My advice to you therefore is to become more relaxed in your thinking, do not restrict your thoughts or your food. Just begin to educate yourself about a balanced diet and more exercise. Ever seen the yin yang symbol? It represents balance and an ever moving universe. Life only works in balance. What happens when you restrict the flow of water with a damn. You get more water.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Relaxedness is the key to all good health, peace of mind will restore the balance your body and mind crave. Do not impose control on your food, restriction causes conflict and ultimately more consumption.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you want to lose weight then begin stop dieting and start eating in a balanced way. Chill out and get thin.&lt;br /&gt;

The nutrition your mother received from the food she cooked and ate will have affected your own body and the diseases it may have. Poor diet in our own mothers make our chances of survival in a more abundant world&amp;nbsp; less than if we too lived in a world of shortage. Our bodies develop in the womb and are programmed by the food our mothers eat. We are born big or small depending on this. However our bodies find it hard to adapt if our own food intake is different from our mothers. We are in greater danger of getting fat if our mothers ate less food in poorer circumstances than ourselves.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So be careful what you eat if you are pregnant. Ask your&amp;nbsp; mother what she ate when she was younger and her mother before that.&amp;nbsp; Chances are you will notice that your great grandparents and grandparents are thinner than you. They ate in a time when food was short and money was tight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now here is where the problems starts, if you actually get pregnant and eat well, in the future when money gets tighter and the world food supply gets smaller, your own children will have trouble adapting to a different type of diet.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Be careful what you eat, each mouthful reaches out into the future and touches the unborn in ways that many of us will never appreciate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We are what we eat, we are the sum total of our thinking, we are creating the future with what we eat.&lt;br /&gt;

The brain deletes these choices from your thinking and helps you to create a nice short list of things to pick. Then week after week we buy the same stuff from the same shelf. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The there you go, supermarkets do not offer any more choice than if you grew it yourself or used a small local grocer. What you would get if you did the later was a greater connection with your food and the willingness to try more different things.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Simple really, we must rely on our inherited feeling and intuition and not really on big companies to direct our choice and ultimately mess with our natural in born psychology&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

It is a hang over from our cave man days when storing excess fat would help us to survive in th absence of food. however in todays world were most of us can eat more that we need the capacity to store fat has not gone away.&lt;br /&gt;

It may take millions of years to get rid of this capacity through evolution but i fear we will all be too fat and dead for this to have any affect. There will be no human race to evolve.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fat is the biggest form of energy there is. If you are full, if you are constantly eating even a healthy diet, any excess fat will be stored up. Mix that with no exercise and we are turning ourselves in to a walking fat bomb, just waiting to explode in your living room and letting all those people you love pick up the messy pieces.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Stop eating fat now.......exercise more now. Stop the cycle of obesity by taking control. I don&#39;t care how good it tastes, it will kill you early. You are needed in your family, the cycle of life needs older wiser people to educate the young ones. When you are gone, who will do that?&lt;br /&gt;

Well for all you in Pakistan the best thing you can do to start losing weight is to stop cooking with Ghee and replace it with sunflower oil or olive oil. Ghee is an animal fat, full of saturate and trans fats. Trans fats are hard to break down in the body and so end up as fat in your skin. Trans fats are not only made in the factory which make us westerners fat but it is present in all animal fats especially cows.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Cooking is a traditional way of life for some of us, habits are hard to change. Your family may have been cooking the same way for generations. Diets are created from available produce, climate and people. In this world of information we can now use it to alter out food intake for a healthier life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ditch the ghee, throw it away and keep your traditional foods but cook with vegetable oils instead. Encourage to boys in your family to cook as well. it will help change your culture in the future and allow the women to do other things too.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Take you time and look at your family and people around you. How many of them are over weight. In the past a little extra fat may have been considered a sign of wealth and good fortune. These days it is in reality a sign of neglect, laziness, uneducated, unwilling to embrace life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
God or gods put us on this planet to live and survive, not to sit back and die&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Making choices about what you eat is, for some people, taken for granted. There is so much choice available that these&amp;nbsp;people then tend to restrict what they choose as a form&amp;nbsp;of gaining control of this mad situation. This psychological effect on our thinking can force us to stop choosing altogether, failing to assert our potential.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Start taking back full control of your life, get your body mind and spirit to reach its potential to be what it is supposed to be. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

All these people&amp;nbsp; from around the world, and i bet you all eat differently. We eat for many different reason, firstly the obvious one like survival, but other things affect our diets. Have you ever considered that your eating patterns may not be right for you. We should feed a baby we it is hungry so that it develops and understands what hungry and feeling full after eating is. The body needs to be taught these things even if it means the mother is exhausted. Who said we need to eat three times a day. In the affluent world this is considered the norm, but in poor countries just eating to be full at any time of the day is a blessing. Consider all the refugees in the world, food becomes their only way of holding on to their culture. Food becomes comfort and a life line to history.&lt;br /&gt;

We have reduced a noble&amp;nbsp;and intelligent animal&amp;nbsp;into something slave like. Eating expensive, nutritionally poor food,&amp;nbsp; watching the world go by on a diet of TV ads that promote a false ideal, extracting money and information from us every second of every day.&lt;br /&gt;

If you get the chance to watch Jamie Oliver&#39;s food revolution on channel 4&amp;nbsp; UK then you will see the problems that will soon be every ones problem. Nations getting fat on misinformation, greed, ignorance and laziness. People have been led to believe that others can provide for their needs. The only way you can guarantee where your food has come from is to grow it yourself.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Reducing consumption across the globe may cause short term economic pain, however the long term benefits for you and the planet far out way the way things are at the moment. What do you want as an nation, a wealthy yet unhealthy population draining resources by the second. Or a poor nation with healthy people utilising the worlds harvest in a way that feeds everyone.&lt;br /&gt;

In doing this we unwittingly sign our own slow death warrants. We fail to eat at the correct times, we have less time for any form of exercise. The TV controls our ideas and we all shop at the supermarket to by food in boxes. We are all screwed!!!!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What does the world have to look like for use to all eat well at breakfast and lunch and less at night. For us all to get at least 30 minutes good exercise a day and spend time relaxing and educating ourselves. This is the future, but can it exist. Will or can capitalism support it?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What job do we need to do to allow this to happen. What new ways of working do employers need to engage in?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These are old big questions for society and the world, we have got it wrong so far and no one is looking to help it change for the better. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I am therefore going to change my own life. We need to take charge of our own destiny. However we are not all going to make it. Most of us will give up on the way and resign themselves to a life of fat, misery and death.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Imagine the type of person you want to be. What jobs do they do in order to be that way. Your mind will give you the clues to find a way forward. You must focus on what you want not on what you dont want.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When you feel&amp;nbsp; bad, remember to refocus on what you want to feel like. THINK AND THE BODY WILL FOLLOW.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Take control of your thoughts not the other way round.&lt;br /&gt;

What ever the reaon is it is the food that fills the gap. It is the food that you seek comfort it, it is the sence of feeling full that makes you feel better. Problem is, as we alll know, all that food has to go somewhere, and if you have not exercised in any form today then shame on you.&lt;br /&gt;

What would be good to see is people starting to comment on the blogs, lets get some interaction going here. How many of you that read these blogs have actually started to make changes. Motivation for many of us is a major factor. The problem is for many people is that we all give up too quickly. We make changes and then fail to carry on, we loose our will to do it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One of the many secrets that I wll let you all know about is that in order to affect real change in your life, is to maintain the changes for at least 30 days. 30 days will ensure that new habits have a chance to embed themselves in your brain.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This will be tough, one of the few ways to get through is to relax more. Take time out when ever you can and begin to close your eyes, listen to the sounds around you and the feelings in sid and then begin to see yourself as you would like to be. Do the mirror exercise. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
30 days to add years on to your life. Not a bid deal really. More years to enjoy your friends and family, more time to learn more things, more time to contribute to society.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Loosing weight has benefits for all. Just focus and count the days down. Stick to it. Later will follow some freaky mind techniques to help you focus and rid your selves of old habits and beliefs.&lt;br /&gt;

Just eat less and exercise more. However we all know that it just does not work out that way. Its very fustrating for millions of us around the globe. We are getting fatter by the second.....tick&amp;nbsp; tock....&lt;br /&gt;

You will not loose weight if you participate in the following activities:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;eating at night&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;not eating brreakfast&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;eating a light lunch&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;not snacking&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;getting stressed out&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;eating in front of the tv or pc&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;eating quickly&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;loosing weight will depend on many factors other than exercise you will loose more if you participate in the following:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;eat breakfast and a large lunch and a small dinner&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;eat when you are hungry, just make sure it is fruit or wholemeal based&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;relaxation aids digestion and burns more calories&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;appreciate and give thanks for your food. Midfulness burns calories&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;slow down and make time to make your own food&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;simple really, but can you really be bothered. Its not just doing simple things, how bad does it have to get. How big do you have to be before you make an effort.&lt;br /&gt;

You are the some total of your thinking so far. Most of us will not like what we see. Most of us have a distorted image of our selves. This internal image is what our brain will try to achieve for us. if only we had realized this earlier we could have saved putting on a few kilos or pounds.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So close your eyes and see your self in front of an imaginary mirror. See your self as you want to be. Make it vivid, colourful, moving, and pleasing to all your senses. The mind cannot tell the difference between a vivid imaginary picture and the real thing.. So go ahead and make the image a you would like to be, now the real magic lies in the mirror, imagine jumping into the image you see. Try on the image for size, make sure you feel how it feel to be this new shape, this will teach your mind what it is it needs to do. Now jump back out and wake up.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You will notice over the next month how you are starting to feel and act differently around food and exercise. you must do this exercise for the next month for it create a real change. Remember you are what you think.&lt;br /&gt;

Well at this point in time if you look in a real mirror you will see the some total of your thinking right in front of you. You are at present everything you ever thought of. Scary thought eh!&amp;nbsp; Do you like the picture or not?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My guess is that most of us out there are not completely happy with what they they see. And what you see is what you think. So here what to do about it.......&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Relax, close your eyes, take some nice long deep breaths, and begin to see an imaginary mirror. Wait until the picture is vivid. the more real you make it the better. No in your imagination, stand in front of the mirror and see the picture of you that you would really like to see. Notice all the curves and shape of the new you. Make it real, moving , colour, add smells, and good feelings. Now jump into the mirror and try on the new you. Really feel what it is like to be this new you. By doing this you actually teaching your mind what it has to achieve. Before you did this you probably imagined yourself bigger than you actual are. So that is what your mind set out to do. Not jump out of the mirror, affirm that this is the new you that you want to be . ND THEN COME BACK TO NOW, FULLY AWAKE.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Do this as often as possible. your brain cannot tell the difference between a vivid imagined image and the real thing. The more you visit this metal space the stronger you mind will associate with it and you will notice changes in yourself ower the next month. Notice how you attitude to food and exercise changes and your mind tries to find new ways to achieve its new target.&lt;br /&gt;

Most of us do not and soon the whole world will be eating in the incorrect order. We get fatter with our ignorance of the facts. If we continue to do this over time we will effect our development and the power of evolution according to Darwin will cause us to change our bodies for ever. We will end up smaller and fatter with shorter legs to allow our bodies to cope with this way off eating. You may already see this happening with our youth.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Why have we become so reliant on others to feed us. Why do we allow oursleves to accept that work comes first and eating comes a lot lower on the scale of things that are really important. We are only on tis planet because of the way we have eaten in the past. Look at our anscestors and think about what they ate and when they ate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You need lots of food to have the energy to go out hunting or gathering. You do not need lots of energy at the end of the day when you are tired and in need of rest and the body is slowing down. Simple really, but modern life is quickly de tuning us all in blind acceptance of the way it is.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What can we do? Probably nothing, people are too busy to change, people are too lazy to educate themselves on the reality of eating at incorrect times with incorrect calorie intake. Do people deserve to get fat, should we really bother to educate people. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The fatter the masses get the earlier they die. After all there are too many people on the planet, so why bother helping people to live longer. I am getting increasing frustrated by the amount of overweight people I see. Most people do not notice it when they look at people because they are over weight themselves.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Are humans really the most intelligent animals on the planet? The inability to burn calories at night leaves your body with an excess of food to burn. Guess what? It turns to fat.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We know this, science knows this and therefore politicans know this, yet we still conform to the new eating patterns. We are eating and working ourselves into early graves. We are eating ourselves further into a situation which binds our bodies closer to fat and weigth gain more than at any time in our history.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Will employers ever realise that a productive work force is a happy workforce. happyness starts from within and it all centre around food and how we eat. You need to make some choices to ever breakfree from this vicious cycle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What are you going to do about it? What can you do about it?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
