I just recently had the luck of a security threat virus that I was able to get rid of. Somehow inthe process, my IE stopped working. I knew it was the IE because Firefox could connect to the webpages no problem. After the usual uninstalling and reinstalling, disable firewall, re-enable firewall, scanfiles, reregistering dll files[.....]

Another fix for the Dllhost.exe error

Dllhost.exe errors pop up when you open up a video folder and is unable to register the thumbnail for the video. Most of the blame has been on Nero 7. Updating may or may not fix the problem. Other suggestions have been to disable the DEP on for the COM Surrogate. That is highly unadvisable[.....]
