Even though I have been photographing these three little ones for over a year now, this was the first time I had the whole family in front of the camera! This past Fall I had the chance to photograph this beautiful family!! I had such a great time catching up, and getting to know them better during their session. It was such a breeze working with them, I mean how can you go wrong with such a gorgeous family...come on, seriously! LOL

It is always so much fun meeting new families for the first time! The M. Family made me feel warm and welcomed from the moment I walked into their home. Let me tell you, for a family with 3 small boys (one being only 7 days old!!), their house IMMACULATE!! I was so jealous, and a little embarrassed that my own house was no where near as clean LOL!

Baby D. was so laid back and slept through his whole session...LOVED IT!! He is such an adorable little guy, I fell instantly in love with him :) Thank you M. Family for letting me into your home to photograph your newest addition to your family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek

I have been really really delayed in posting my past few session sneak peeks! So, needless to say, I will be doing several posts in the next few days!!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this little lady since she was born. It has been so amazing to get to see her grow and change this past year. This was another fun and exhausting cake smash session LOL, and another absolutely beautiful cake by Kristin of Fat Girl Cakes . Thank you J. I was so happy to finally be able to meet the B. Family! They flew all the way from Texas to spend little Kaylee's 1st birthday with family here in Fredericksburg, VA!! I just had to sit back and laugh at what a work out this princess was giving her dad LOL. She was crawling and walking all over the place, but we were able to get some really adorable shots.

I also wanted to give mad props to Kristin, owner of Fat Girl Cakes, www.fatgirlcakes.com. She does absolutely amazing work!!

There was nothing better than to be able to hold and love on this tiny love bug, after a long trip up to Maryland =) He was such a great model for me (GO EZRA!! lol). It still amazes me how different it is photographing a subject who can actually sit still and pose when asked to :) Chris was such a trooper, trudging around in the woods, jumping over rocks in the middle of the stream, with his mother and me. Noah & Charlie_1st Birthday

This was such a bitter sweet moment, not only for this big guy's momma (and family), but for me as well. I still can't believe it's been a year since Charlie and Noah were born. Even as we all rejoice and celebrate this amazing time in Noah's life, at the same time we all heart-achingly love and miss his beautiful twin brother, Charlie! Even though his time on earth was short, he made a HUGE impact in an incredible number of people's lives, and will dwell in our hearts forever!

Thank you Noah for being the cute and chubby baby that you are! You have such a strong, shining spirit :) and I wish you best this upcoming year in your life and beyond.

I have known this wonderful woman for a long time now, and had the pleasure of photographing her beautiful family again! I was so excited when she told me that she was expecting her 5th baby, and that she asked me to do a maternity session for her. It was a dark and rainy day, but we still made it happen, phew! Addison is such a special little lady :) With 11 older siblings and 2 wonderful parents, she will never lack for any love. I had such a great time, not only doing what I love to do, but getting to spend the morning chatting with a good friend. She was also a perfect newborn to work with...she did not wake up until the very end of our session, no matter how much I posed her. Thank you D. and B. so much for a great time, and I hope you enjoy this small sneak peak.

Can I just say right now that I love working with this age group :) Don't get me wrong, I adore every age group, but there is just something about telling a child "Ok, sit here, turn this way, or that way" and actually have them listen to me. I was really excited about this photo shoot. It was so much fun posing this little beauty, and she was a natural.

There is so much love in little Nylah's house!! From her parents, to her aunts, uncle, cousins, grandfather, and even her family dog...at one point all of us in the same room HAHAHA!! It is so CRAZY to think that I've known H. for 8 years now, way back in nursing school, wow!! I had such of great time finally meeting these beautiful, beautiful little girls. It was SUCH a cold morning this day, and I had been fighting off a bug that one of my little ones had given to me (such is life with little kids)...but I was determined to "rock" this photoshoot LOL LOL. Children tend to bring you back down to earth, really quick! =) I had to just sit and laugh all morning, because having four little ones of my own, I knew what these parents were going through, trying to get their children corralled to take a few family shots! We all had to just go with the flow, no stress...if the kids wanted to be in the shot, they were, if not, then c'est la vie =) Thank you so much, J. Family, for being so patient while I was recovering!! I feel like a new person, it's funny how I take feeling healthy for granted.

Can I just say that I had a blast shooting my first senior session! I never thought that I would have had so much fun :) It was also so refreshing working with a "willing" subject!! Even though I've known T. for over a year now (from a local twin moms group), this is the first time that I've actually met her beautiful 18 month old twins, C. and D., in person!! They are such a wonderful family, and I really did have a great time being with them and photographing them. I seriously had to laugh because I remember those days when my twins were that age....ohhhhhh the trials LOL. Thank goodness there are many more joys, happiness, and love thrown in there than the trials :) Thank you B. family!!
