Nostalgique…non pas de chats Nostalgic but no cats

Parfois, lorsqu’un peu nostalgique ou mélancolique ou tout autre mélange de ique, je mets des photos de mes chats, qui sont malheureusement décédés, mais pas aujourd’hui, un autre style de nostalgie, voilà 36 ans…à l’âge d’à peine 30 ans, je venais de ‘Krisser’ là ma carrière à la fonction publique fédérale et suis parti en voyage pendant toute une année…ces jours ci en juin j’étais en Normandie, à Granville si ma mémoire est bonne, je venais de m’acheter un vélo quelques jours auparavant à Cherbourg, ce soir là je trouvais cela bien paisible, le soleil baissant vers l’horizon, petite photo…ah je ne pense pas que j’y retournerai, malgré ce que je m’étais promis et à quelques personnes que j’ai connu à Genêts..sais pas s’il se souviennent encore d’un québécois un peu fou…:)

Sometimes, when I do feel a bit of melancholy or nostalgic, I will post photos of my cats, which are dead, but not today, another kind of souvenirs, more like when at 30, 36 years ago, I ditch my Federal civil servant career down the drain and left for a full year, I was at Granville, if my memory serve me well, on the coast of Normandy, in direction of Genêts, and this sunset or about to set, caught my eye, was so quiet walking along that beach, don’t think I will ever go back, I promised to myself and a few people in Genêts that I would, maybe more on this on another nostalgic post….I don’t know if out there they have some memories of a somewhat crazy Québécois…:)

Je ne me souviens plus ou vraisemblablement j'avais oublié que j'avais un blog ici....vais essayer de le 'ressusciter' ou du moins le rendre un peu plus actif ou vivant.

Can't quite remember, in fact I kind of forgotten I had a blog on this platform, that with my prolonged absence of painting, make for a blog that look pretty dead, so I will try to bring a bit more needed attention to it in the next few days..
