How to improve hubs traffic

Some of my hubs get enough visitor but some other hubs has not enough visitor. Certainly, the score of my hubs is decreased. I thought it was better to delete some of my hubs which has no visitor but other hubs suggested to improve my hubs.

Most of us are not great writer so we should improve our hubs. Frankly, I am not a hubber expert but I want to share my idea for improving our hubs. This tips may work for your hubs.

What do you need to improve?

Text capsules

A good content is not a content which has good grammar check and spell . There are million online writer who is able to write correctly but they are not success. They can write but they cannot engage people. You should make a good content that could engage your reader or subscribers.

Few word in your text may be a problem. Perhaps the reader does not understand what you mean.

Add more words to make your content great so your reader get a good explanation. You may add case study or problem at your text.

Picture
Sometime we are difficult to find a relevance pictures. Example: my hubs topic is about accounting journal. I confused what picture that is relevant to accounting journal?

Upload your own picture because it is the best. Alternatively, you can use free photo and do not forget to check the copyright. you should use free copyright photo.

Nice picture also can attract some visitor from images search. They may read your hubs and click the ads.

Tag

Some hubs just have three tags. You should add it by clicking suggestion tags. It is careless to use few tags whereas Hubpages allow you to put much tags. Explore other tags that may increase your hubs traffic.

Video

If your hubs has no video, you may consider to embed video. There are many free video at YouTube, Google Video, Blip TV, Revver, Metacafe, and Yahoo Videos . Find relevance video that support your hubs. Some people like video and they may stay for few minutes. I think video will support your text. For example: Some people may be confused to practice how tie a tie after read the text. If you display a video, they might be able to follow the step "how to tie a tie".

Yahoo News

A hubber suggest that Yahoo news can attract the visitor and it may useful for you. Sometimes the capsule will automatically on and it relate with your topics but some hubber report that the news yahoo does not contain anything. Well, they may edit the Yahoo news and replace the tag.

Links

Put your hubs link to another hubs because it may attract the visitor go to your hubs. You can put link at any blog and website. Do not forget to put link below your comment in other blog or website.

Some link may increase your page rank and bring your hubpages at top search.

Promote

Promote your hubpages with social media such as facebook, twitter, delicious, blinklist, stumble upon,etc. The social media could bring you some visitor.

Comment at other hubs, perhaps the owner will go to your hubs too. Do not forget attend the forum to promote your hubs.

Some hubber build some blog that is linked with their hubs. Put summary at your blog post and link it to your hubs. Use free blog like blogspot or wordpress.

Try and try again. If you feel you cannot improve hubs, you may leave it or delete it.

Put newsletter in your blog or website is easy but getting the subscriber is very difficult. You can try this method at your blog or website:

1. Write some great content. This is the cheapest way but it is difficult. Every blogger and website want to write great content but not all people can do it.

2. Post the blog regularly. You may post an article every day or you may post twice or three times a week. Do not let the subscriber down.

3. Give the subscriber prize. You may select any subscriber who have right to get your prizes if you just have limited budget. Alternatively, you may give them gift card.

I am thinking to get some loyal visitor to my blog. I hope the visitor who ever visit my blog will come to my blog again. Even they will tell father, mother, brother, sister, and family to visit our blog. We will get more visitor and traffic and it means more money.

I was wrong about the loyal visitor or subscribers. I thought they would not give us money because they rarely to click adsense because the adsense just display the same ads. I realize the adsense layout is not fixed. It can change automatically. I think a subscribers could click the ads again.

I also subscribes to some famous blog. I think it is simple than visiting to the blog directly. We can see the highlight of the blog post through e-mail. If we are interested, we can go to the blog. If, on the other hand, the blog highlight is not interesting, we may ignore it.

The subscriber also help us to rise our blog rank.The blog page view will be stable. If you display paid per view ads, you will get more dollars.

Sometimes we confused who people that we should follow. Finally we just ads any twitter until our following become 1,000. Make other hubpages to enrich your profile and raise your hubpages traffic. It is need hard work to build some hubs.
If you want make money seriously, you should do some action like this:

1. Make other hubs to complete your hubs and you can connect one hubs to other hubs. For example: Your hubs is about a bird. Certainly, you cannot write anything about bird in a hubs. I have some reason to join hubpages. Those reasons are:

To be honest, I want to get a sheet of Uncle Benny per month. Some article at web and blog had said that hubpages could give us more bucks and then I joined it. We can get money from adsense and capsule revenue like Amazon and Ebay. Hubpages will give you 40% of adsense review.

Easy to use

Hubpages is an easy single web page. I think a little child could make a hub in five minutes. We just fill the capsules with some word and then publish it. I like some online forum because I can share knowledge to other members. If I do not know about something, I ask at the forum. On the other hand, If i know something, I will share it. I am satisfied sharing with other because it similar with charity. Sharing knowledge to other people does not loss you; on the other hand, your knowledge will be increasing.

I was upset because a website copycat my blog. Although its website has give link to mine but i fell upset with the web owner.

The copier must not respect the blog owner. They think blog is only copy-paste article. They should know that writing needs skill, knowledge, patient, and time.

Link is a way to promote our article or our content. I am often link my blog with my my article in other website. Unfortunately, the website suspend my content. They ask me to repair so it meets the website standard. Off course, I am tired to do that. I have repaired so many times but the website does not approve my content.
I think we do not have link to other website that make us tired. Reversely, we can link the content to our blog post or website. It can increase our blog traffic and blog popularity. My message is

DO NOT LINK YOUR BLOG POST TO YOUR ARTICLE AT OTHER WEBSITE.

There are so many people go to west in order to find gold. The gold fever make west so crowd. Some people from various nationally compete find gold. Not all miner get sufficient gold. Only one of hundreds miner could become rich. The remain of the miner got little gold.
However, some businessman who open a shop must get profit. The miner should by some necessities even they did not get a gram of gold.
I realize that some people can generate money without blogging. They provide blogging service to support the blogger need. The businessman must get benefit from that. Like the merchandize, they has low risk. Those business it:

1. Writing article
Some blog or website need article content. They hunt the article to the freelancer website or Craigslist. I heard some jobs offer one dollar for a 400 words article. They want 500 article for the blog.
For the expert a blog article is pricey. Some blogger dare to pay $20 for a 400 article

2. Domain name
Some blogger need domain name. They will find domain name to make their blog looks good. Some blog name that have been taken by people must be pricey whereas a domain rice is only ten bucks

3. Sell Links
Some blogger sell the links to new blog in order to lift the new blog page rank. The new blog must pay little dollar to the link sellers. Some blogger can get $ 1,000 a month with this. However, Google has update the search engine term and the link does not help new blog much.

4. Bookmarker
To raise the article popularity, some people ask someone to bookmark the blog such as delicious, yahoo buzz, digg, stumble upon, reddit, and else. They give 5-10 cents every bookmark. I thought is is a fake bookmarker.

5. Facebook pages
Some blog supposedly do not miss with facebook pages. They are some blogger who paid the facebook fans. After get paid, they click dislike on the facebook pages.

6. Selling e-book
Some blogger feel can help other blogger to raise adsense revenue with their tips. If they can increase revenue why they share to us? It is nonsense. They want to sell their book so they can get benefit from it.

7. Selling some software
They use software to manipulate the visitor so the company want to visit their blog. This is illegal way and you will be banned.

Some people just want to get profit fast so they cheat you to get more money.

How to write a good first paragraph

I am often confused on how to write the first paragraph for my content. Sometimes I cannot start to write for minutes and it waste my times. First Paragraph is important for your content. Most reader read the first paragraph first and then write the following paragraph. Not much people that write the end paragraph after read the title content.
That is why blogger can create first paragraph like this:
1.Ask question to the reader
Perhaps the reader will interest what your ask. They may continue to write the following paragraph. Try to make the question that people understand. Do not make a confusing question.
Some people may continue to write the following paragraph after read the question. You have better add poll at the post so your reader can votes the option.
Asking some question to the reader make your blog post interactive. You try to ask your reader to participate at your blog. The reader must be pride with you.
2. Write a story that relate with the content
I often write a real story that relate with the content. It can add the word of my content. It also increase the search page result due it add so many word. For example, you have a story about football club. The football club name may increase your search result too.
3. Anecdote
To be honest, I am difficult to write anecdote for my own articles but some writer suggest it so the reader are not bored with your content. Write a funny paragraph that relate wit the content.Some reader which have humor sense maybe interested with your article.
4.Bombastic first paragraph
Every people loves bombastic things. Tell that your blog revenue increase two times this month, compared to last month. I believe the reader must be attracted and curios. They want to know the explanation at the following paragraph. What have you to do to raise the revenue is their curiousness. They want to follow your steps that is success to collect dollar.
Some blog post hoax news. They post an article about divorced of Prince William - Kate Middleton. I think we should not use hoax news to attract our reader.
We can use a true news that can attract people. For example, George bush are bitten by dog. Certainly, George Bush who is bitten my dogs was not United States President but only ordinary people. The name of the dog victim is same with US President. I believe reader will read our article.

See the right section after my main post. There are some link to other blog. Some blogger add favorite blog link or other blog so they can go to the favorite blog easily. They do not have to type the blog URL again.

Blogroll is a compound of a blog link. The benefit of bloggroll that your blog page rank will increase when others blogger link to your blog. That is why some website sell the link to other people. The price is about $5 for a link to blog or website that has pagerank two. The blogger should pay more when theywant higher pagerank blog.

Some website such as text links ads can sell or buy links. This website is a broker between the link buyer and link seller.

Today, some blogger doubt on effectiveness blog links. My friend said that the bloglinks will not affect the blog page rank. He just believe a good content can lift the pagerank. He think Google will not consider the blog link.

It is not wrong to put blogroll at your blog. You can put maximum 20 links blog at the blog roll. Putting so many links to your blog is not different with link farmer. What kind website or blog that I will comment.

If you want go to your house friend or family, you must need the address of the house. Your brother said that he lives in a beach in Miami. Certainly, you will be difficult to find your friend or your family house because he does not inform the complete address to us. There are million houses in Miami. Commenting a blog is also promoting your blog. If you comment other blog frequently, the blog owner will comes to your blog. Further, the other visitor of the blog that we comment, may comes to our blog too. Certainly, we have to comment a good comment that attract other visitor.
I do not want waste my time with blog that is not friendly with my comment. Some blog often delete my comment whereas I have obey their comment rule. Here Is some blog that I like to comment:

I often visit the famous blog that has so much visitor. The content also great and inspired that encourage me to write more.
2. Infamous blog but it has good content

We can use this kind blog to promote our blog. As long the url relevant with the comment, we can comment at the blog. I always disappointing to the blogger that does not allow URL link.

Most blogger provide the website box so the visitor can write the name of visitor,email, and website. Few blogger provide comment luv so it can display our last blog post below our comment. This is the most blog I like to comment.
It is an opportune to promote our blog. I saw few blog that forbids to write the name of our website. I think the blog is not fair. They do not want to communicate in two ways. They just want to be famous but they do not want other blogger famous.

If we write a blog pr website, we are better to write the tag. Tags can describe what we write. Most search engine will find the tags and display the article in first page of search result. Tag has been recognized since web 2.0 is founded.

Some blogger or writer creates so many tags. They think that creating so many tags will drive more traffic. I think it is not wrong because there is no standard for tag. We are free to write the tags as many as possible.

A tag can contain a word, two words, three words, even more words. You can write the title as your tags. For example: how to make money online, how to write at blog, and others. Hubpages also allow you to write so many tags but you should write the tags that relate with your content. You can click tag suggestion to below your tags at hubpages. Hubpages will recommend the tags and you can use or ignore it. If you write unrelated tags, hubpages will lock your account. Writing some unrelated tags is not different to spamming.

If you want promote your articles to social bookmark, you need to write the tags. The bookmarking will categorize your article suit with the tags. It will help another person to find your article. Some bookmark allows the blogger to create the tags but some others restrict the tags.
