client , a large European operator is seeking a drilling supervisor for a short two hitch assignment working a 28/28 rotation. The project involves drilling exploration and development wells in the Caspian Sea from a modern semi submersible. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience gained on jack ups and semi subs and a valid IWCF certificate. An engineering degree would be beneficial but is not essential. A very competitive day rate and business class travel is available for the right candidate.

Surrey County Council has embarked on a revolutionary programme of activity to review the whole organisation’s processes, together with reviewing the way it exploits IT systems.

A major transformation programme is underway, focussed on business change with IT as an enabler. As a Project Manager in the County Council’s Information Management and Technology Service (IMT), you will be part of an established team with responsibility for the delivery of a range of projects. These will cover all aspects of the Council’s IT delivery, many related to SAP, and others supporting mobile working, web-enabled services, enterprise technologies and specialist service needs.

Our methodology is based upon PRINCE 2 and incorporates regular formal reporting and management of risk and issue logs. IMT Project Managers lead teams, often virtual, of various sizes – sometimes Corporate-wide. Project Managers liaise directly with senior staff across the Authority and frequently with suppliers to manage complex projects through their life cycle.
