Successful candidate will team-teach an arts immersion course for Self-Contained Elementary Education Classroom Teachers.   Secondary duties may include teaching Storytelling, Introduction to Theatre, or other courses within the theatre curriculum depending on the candidate’s expertise.  The selected candidate will work with colleagues in the theatre program and the School of Communications, reporting to the Director of the School of Communications. Duties include attending School of Communications and theatre program faculty meetings, advising students, and involvement in unit, college, university, and community duties and service.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Qualifications:  Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Theatre with a focus in Theatre Education by the time of employment.  Candidates must posses a comprehensive knowledge of theatre teaching techniques for elementary-aged students, and at least two years of teaching experience within an undergraduate liberal arts theatre program.  A record of scholarly/professional publication and demonstrated excellence in teaching preferred.
