<p>AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is currently on a journey to redevelop the Obuasi Gold Mine into a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.</p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as Senior Maintenance Planner – Underground.</p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT</span></strong></h3>
<p>The Senior Maintenance Planner – Underground is accountable for the development and implementation of maintenance planning using the SAP modules designated through the application of operational engineering policies, standards, systems and procedures to maximize plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks in order to meet the business’ strategic objective.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</span></h3>
<p>Responsible for Safety, Environmental, and Social Responsibility policies for the section and accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every mine worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.<br />
Ensure safe planning of Underground Infrastructure refurbishment and/or construction activities and compliance with classified plant and electrical safety obligations to meet safety targets.<br />
Support and make room for continuous improvement of safety performance.<br />
Support the Maintenance Planning Manager to plan all underground infrastructure and equipment refurbishment activities.<br />
Support and advise the refurbishment project and maintenance team with accurate work plans.<br />
Liaise with the Planning Manager and Project Manager to set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.<br />
Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.<br />
Prepare and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establish means and methods for recovery, if any<br />
Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.<br />
Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Managers and Engineering Manager.<br />
Support the provision of master project schedule updates with respect to refurbishment and maintenance activities<br />
Support the rollout, implementation and training of SAP maintenance system and smooth transition of the system into the operational phase in the Underground infrastructure to ensure the operating team is appropriately trained and proficient in using the SAP system, to support a smooth transition into operations.<br />
Proactively manage change to avoid potential project cost and schedule overruns.<br />
Ensure spares inventory supports current and future planning requirements.<br />
Identify and implement opportunities to help prevent reoccurring failures that may adversely impact on production.<br />
Provide inputs into the identification of reliability monitoring by recognizing irregular and unusual repetition of potential maintenance activities.<br />
Ensure asset purchases are effectively and efficiently done in through structured system that is consistent with AGA policies.<br />
Provide input to due diligence for procuring goods and services to support the refurbishment work and maintenance plan.<br />
Adhere to procurement procedures and processes.<br />
Ensure cost codes are correctly allocated to all refurbishment activities.<br />
Assist in the development of quality and performance reporting metrics.<br />
Responsible for Underground Infrastructure Maintenance Planning team in terms of work management, capability<br />
and capacity building to support project refurbishment activities and a smooth transition into operation<br />
Interface with Contractors and/or Construction teams regarding refurbishment works to planned works that support the overall work plan, schedule and expectations.<br />
Interface with the operational readiness team, particularly around the rollout and implementation of SAP.<br />
Ensure training, development and performance management of individuals in the Underground infrastructure Maintenance Planning team are run effectively.<br />
Complete the skills matrix and maintain up-to-date<br />
Identify skill deficiencies and initiate corrective action<br />
Produce Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports accurately and timely information that clearly convey the status of refurbishment works and SAP asset maintenance management system rollout.<br />
Advise refurbishment and maintenance works progress and KPI status to the Planning Manager, particularly potential cost, schedule or quality variances.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE</span></h3>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Qualification</span></strong></p>
<p>A Bachelor Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in a relevant (mechanical or electrical) engineering discipline.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Experience</span></strong></p>
<p>Minimum of 4 years’ experience as maintenance planner/supervisor in mining operations.<br />
Project planning highly regarded.<br />
Preferably owner’s team, multi-disciplined, design,<br />
Construction and commissioning experience, with contractor management experience, within a large blue-chip mining or resources environment.</p>

<p>The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking to recruit suitable, qualified persons for the position of National Coordinator for the National Adaptation Project (NAP) Ghana Project.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #ff0000;">Tasks</span></h2>
<p>• In order to achieve the expected Outcomes, outputs and deliverables, the National NAP Coordinator will perform the following tasks:</p>
<h2><span style="color: #ff0000;">Project Management</span></h2>
<p>Manage the day-to-day implementation of the programme at national level and across regions, including coordinating the delivery of activities and outputs (such as workshops, studies and publications)</p>
<p>• Ensure that project activities and results are delivered in accordance with the required quality standards and specified time and cost constraints.<br />
• Develop TORs and assist in the identification, selection and recruitment / procurement of consultants or other service providers<br />
• Supervise and manage the work and deliverables of national and international consultants, as well as other service providers and partners<br />
• Supervise the Administrative and Finance officer to ensure that financial, procurement and human resource processes are managed in line with Funding Proposal and Project Cooperation Agreement provisions and that records of projects documents and assets / equipment lists, including financial and procurement documents, are maintained in accordance with and its requirements<br />
• Ensure the timely preparation of annual and semi-annual work plans, procurement plans and budgets for approval by the Project National Director and Project Steering Committee, with prior endorsement of the GCF Focal Point and the UN environment task manager.<br />
• Regularly monitor and report on project performance and delivery to the Project National Director, GCF Focal Point and the UN Environment Task Manager, including progress, achievements, challenges encountered and proposed corrective actions<br />
• Prepare biannual project Interim Progress Reports for the GCF<br />
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of budget revisions, financial reports (including quarterly expense reports), and cash advance requests<br />
• Serve as Secretary to the Project Steering Committee, organise biannual PSC meetings, and ensure the timely preparation of meeting documentation (including progress reports) and meeting minutes<br />
• Identify and resolve logistical and organisational issues under the guidence of the Project National Director, the GCF Focal Point and the UN Environment Task Manager and<br />
• Undertake other tasks assigned by the GCF focial point as part of the GCF NAP Project.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #ff0000;">NAP Process Coordination</span></h2>
<p>• Lead the organisation of, participate as a resource person, and represent the project in workshops and meeting, in close coordination with the GCF Focal Point<br />
• Provide background information and inputs to studies, reports, policy briefs and other project outputs and review draft deliverables<br />
• Facilitates collaborative and consultative processes with all key stakeholders to ensure the involvement of government and other stakeholders (including national and local authorities, non-government organisations, academia and private sector actors) in the development of project deliverables and results<br />
• Ensure that project components and deliverables are closely aligned to supporting the integration of climate change adaptation into national, sectoral and provincial strategies, plans and budgets. This will involve ensuring close working relationships with key stakeholder, including the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the National Development Agency of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Finance, key climate-vulnerable sector ministries, and provincial administrations<br />
• Ensure that the UNFCCC’s Guiding Principles for NAPs are applied in the Mongolia NAP elaboration, implementation and monitoring processes</p>
<h2><span style="color: #ff0000;">Qualification Required &amp; Experience</span></h2>
<p>The Successful Candidate for the National Coordinator position will have the following profile:</p>
<p>• A postgraduate degree in public administration, development, natural resource management, the environment or a science or socio-economic related field<br />
• At least 6 years of postgraduate (post-qualification) experience in areas of work related to national and sector policy development and analysis and institutional assessment and capacity building in relation to environment and natural resources and sustainable development, preferably in areas related to climate change adaptation<br />
• At least two previous professional positions / assignments related to facilitating and coordinating the participation of government-led stakeholders in an externally-funded programmes or projects in Ghana or elsewhere<br />
• Excellent communication skills in written and oral English</p>
<h2><span style="color: #ff0000;">Desirable</span></h2>
<p>• Experience working with the government of Ghana<br />
• Experience in programme development and implementation<br />
• Excellent skills and experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitation<br />
• Professional experience in the United Nations system</p>

Compilating bank statements in XRT.<br />
Supporting regional /local back office in relation to bank reconciliations regarding to debt, risk management and fund allocation decisions.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Trade</span></strong></p>
<p>Link between subsidiaries and Corporate Trade Finance team.<br />
Acting as Trade Finance within the region, if needed.<br />
Ensuring the import and export transactions are timely processed.<br />
Solving discrepancies related to import/export Loc.<br />
Proposing the best funding structure for the involved companies in the region in agreement with Corporate Treasury at HQ.<br />
Build long-term bank relationship: facility renewals, product solutions and negotiation on conditions in agreement with Corporate Treasury at HQ.<br />
Manage regulatory compliance requirements and monitor treasury procedures compliance in coordination with Legal and Compliance Dpt. at HQ.<br />
Risk management solutions, in coordination with Corporate Treasury at HQ, in relation to FX, rates or commodity prices exposure.<br />
Facilitate the interlocution between local finance/back office with banks to enable the best bank solutions compliant with Group´s standard processes.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Qualifications</span></strong></p>
<p>Independent with excellent communication &amp; coordinating skills.<br />
Hard working, detail oriented and service minded.<br />
Computer Literacy: Sage- XRT and HFM knowledge would be desirable.<br />

<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as Mechanical Supervisor – Surface Mine Infrastructure.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT</span></h3>
<p>The Mechanical Supervisor – Surface Mine Infrastructure is accountable for the monitoring and control of output of Surface Mine mechanical refurbishment to standard, through the application of operational Supervisory policies, standards, processes and procedures to maximise plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks in order to meet the business’ strategic objective.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</span></h3>
<p>Work according to total quality management principles &amp; ensure zero defect objectives &amp; safety<br />
Adhere to site’s Environmental Management Plan<br />
Gather information for the Mechanical Superintendent – Surface Mine Infrastructure for reporting performance<br />
Conduct periodic audits of all Surface Mine infrastructure during refurbishment, later maintenance<br />
Conduct reviews of the refurbishment, later maintenance, of the Surface Mine Infrastructure to identify actions for continuous improvement<br />
Assist the Mechanical Superintendent – Surface Mine Infrastructure to develop condition monitoring routes and checks for infrastructure equipment;<br />
Execute refurbishment, later maintenance, work checks on a routine scheduled basis. This include visual checks, vibration data collection, infrared data collection, ultrasonic data collection, motor current and flux data collection, simple NDT data collection;<br />
Analyze and trend predictive maintenance data (vibration, IR, etc) to determine plant condition and report this condition for action;<br />
Monitor general physical condition of plant assets and report<br />
Monitor preventive and corrective actions as necessary;<br />
Generate work requests in SAP as required for refurbishment/maintenance planning and scheduling<br />
Ensure routine condition monitoring tasks are performed on all the rotating equipment by data collection using advanced portable data collectors and other tools according to the established schedules and also as per the plant requirements.<br />
Gather information on vibration &amp; other data collected in order to diagnose / troubleshoot rotating machinery problems.<br />
Actively participate in maintenance review programmes and Root Cause Failure Analysis process of mechanical equipment as per requirements.<br />
Identify, communicate, and implement potential cost reduction initiatives<br />
Propose cost savings projects<br />
Execute work in a timely manner; coordinate refurbishment work contractors to time plan, escalate real or potential delays<br />
Monitor equipment performance on asset health system and take proactive measures to address symptoms of potential failure.<br />
Report directly to the Superintendent Supervisor on issues and identify and execute improvement projects<br />
Stop equipment from working if there exists a high risk or unsafe to be used</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE</span></h3>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Qualification</span></strong></p>
<p>Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Maintenance Supervision, or equivalent<br />
Financial, Commercial and Project Management through work experience and courses</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Experience</strong></span></p>
<p>An experienced mechanical maintenance Supervisor with 5+ years’ experience in, preferably, Mine Infrastructure maintenance<br />
Experience in management of Maintenance and Repair Contracts (MARC)<br />
Experience in Project Management<br />
Knowledge of SAP PM module</p>

<p>Must possess Supervisory Managers Certificate of Competency from Mineral Commission of Ghana.<br />

<p>Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City – Accra is the only five-star luxury hotel offering state of the art meeting facilities and services in the city. Conveniently located in the downtown area and in close proximity to the State House, the Accra International Conference Centre and the National Theatre. The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of F&amp;B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">Main Responsibilities</span></h3>
<p>Responsible to Assistant Bar Manager<br />
A courteous, professional and efficient service is provided at all times.<br />
All duties and tasks are performed as per the tasks required at the outlet.<br />
Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel.<br />
Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items offered by the department assigned.<br />
Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives.<br />
Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully.<br />
Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.<br />
Successfully perform opening and closing procedures established for the assigned outlet<br />
Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors.<br />
Report guest complaints immediately to the supervisors and ensuring follow up is performed with the guest.<br />
Being knowledgeable to operate the existing POS system based on the trained responsibility level as assigned in the department.<br />
Understand and strictly adhere to the rules &amp; regulations established in the hotel’s policy manual and the hotel’s policy on fire, hygiene, health &amp; safety.<br />
Attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental trainings and hotel initiated trainings scheduled.<br />
Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the hotel management.<br />
Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.<br />
Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.<br />
Project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.<br />
Have a complete understanding of the monthly profit and loss statement of the department.<br />
Be able to lead the service and act as a role model to the team.<br />
Be able to ensure a flawless service to the highest standards and as required by the department and the hotel.<br />
Fully understand the concept of the restaurant and being able to act as a guardian in terms of service provided, food and beverages served and the guidance of the team<br />
Be very knowledgeable about all service procedures of the bars, lounges and restaurants in the hotel.<br />
Have an excellent understanding of food in general, ingredients and preparations to ensure the right drinks, cocktails and spirit can be recommended.<br />
Have an excellent understanding of classic cocktails trends, their recipes and history.as well as spirits and liqueurs.<br />
Be able to control stocks, produce efficient costing of cocktails and spirits as well as perform excellent recommendations to guests.<br />
Be able to develop new recipes based on guest requests.<br />
Be able to fully comply to the beverage guidelines given by the hotel and management.<br />
Show an interest to develop and explore the local bar culture and knowing the places to go.<br />
Be able to run a bar from A-Z with all mise en place preparations, production of cocktails, cashiering as well as shift end duties.<br />
Have accomplished all internal trainings for up selling techniques, complaint handling and product knowledge.<br />
Understand bar culture and the night life scene.<br />
Continuously train on cocktails and trends.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">Desired Skills and Qualifications</span></h3>
<p>BA/BSc in Hospitality Management or related field, preferably from hotel school or MBA.<br />
Minimum 3 years in an F&amp;B service role.<br />
Awards/ certificates/ trainings related to bar operations are preferred.<br />
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:<br />
Additional language – beneficial.<br />
Strong knowledge of beverages (cocktails, liquors, wine, etc…).<br />
Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.<br />
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br />
Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.<br />
Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.<br />

<p>To initiate purchase requisitions as required and ensure the lowest cost consistent foods, beverages, materials, services, equipment, and supplies with required quality standards are procured on a timely basis.<br />
To identify local vendors and maintain working relationships with them whiles negotiating rates.<br />
To ensure requisitions are properly approved and maintain follow-up systems on all purchases.<br />
To verify prices on corporate contract items.<br />
To follows corporate guidelines on purchasing from corporate suppliers.<br />
To handle receiving, storage, and distribution of all goods to effectively and efficiently meet hotel and corporate requirements.<br />
To ensure that purchased items adhere to corporate standards and if not to take corrective action as required.<br />
To ensure that all goods on invoices are counted or weighed.<br />
To verify information on dates and prices of goods.<br />
To maintain all necessary control records and reports.<br />
To take inventories, ensure stock are up to par and to rotate stocks appropriately in order to minimize breakage.<br />
To process and file executed requisitions properly.<br />
To maintain the competitive status and profitability of the purchasing operation by monitoring industry trends and recommending appropriate action to be taken.<br />
To provide assistance in the calculation of cost of food and other goods and services based on purchase price.<br />
To secure competitive bids as required and requested.<br />
To bring needs for repair or maintenance to the attention of the Controller.<br />
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.<br />
To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules &amp; Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health &amp; Safety.<br />
To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.<br />
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff0000;">Desired Skills and Qualifications</span></h3>
<p>Equivalent of a College Diploma in any related field such as Administration or Finance.<br />
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a purchasing position preferably in an international five star hotel.<br />
Negotiation skills<br />
Knowledge of the hotel industry suppliers and the local market<br />
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment<br />
