·Ensure translated documents mirror the original source document
·Efficiently maintains formal disciplined operations procedures across a variety of client projects
·Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions
·Personally perform project QA steps
·Assist with making new department processes while improving on existing ones (improve productivity, profitability)
·Build and maintain strong relationships with contract translators, editors, and proofreaders
·Juggle overlapping projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills:
·Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
·Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in Canadian French (native level) and English
·Ability to support multiple projects by keeping accurate and up-to-date project specs
·Excellent problem solving skills
·Ensure customer sign-off of end product
·Experience coordinating assignment of resources
·Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines

this looks like a typical fake employment scam. I'm more than positive that if someone was working for the Holiday Inn, they would not be using yahoo! webmail to recruit.

Also, a major American company such as Holiday Inn, which has its own website, would not be using a free, anonymous Yahoo address for its Human Resources department. I would also hope that their employment offers are completely or mostly free of the many grammatical mistakes, spelling mistakes, and such that you see here.

Fees for visa's, documents, taxes and clearances. All bogus, no job here.

One of the cheapest and inexpensive methods of looking for a job in the USA is via the Internet.

The only problem with this method is that according to a "Large Search Engine Executive" the internet is a cesspool of scum.

There are a number of phishing sites that post fake jobs to capture personal information from job seekers then re-sell this info to identy theft criminals.

When looking for a job in the USA use common sense and verify that the business offering the job is properly registered and operating at the listed address.

Job seekers can go to the local library and use the many free directories to verify that a company exists and has real products and services. There are many directories such as Dun and Bradstreet, Scotts Industrials and many others. You can ask the librarian for the most appropriate industry directory and confirm that the business is real.

If the business claims to be "too new to be registered" then ask for references. Real new business's have to provide references to open bank accounts, sign leases or open trade accounts. A "real" new business will provide references.

If you actually know the company history, locations, products, services and spcialties your chances of getting an interview as a job seeker will probably double.

NEVER give your credit card information or bank account pin numbers when applying for a job.

With the economy sliding off the cliff it is difficult to get a job - work hard but be smart and protect your information.

Is the Job Market in USA showing Shrinking Trends

I have been reading several job market reports and several of them are creating the impression that the USA job market is shrinking based on statistics.

If you interpret the actual numbers reported using the Help-Wanted OnLine Data Series from the Conference board using Jan 2006 as the base - then the total online advertised jobs rose 7% in 2007 and 11% in 2008.

This statistic alone does not show that the market is shrinking - in fact it shows that the USA Job Market is actually growing.

One statistic that many are forgeting is that online ads are less expensive than the traditional printed ads in newspapers. To carefully analyse the USA Job Market trends one has to look at how many print advertisers have converted over to the less expensive online advertising.

It is interesting to note that in half of the states the number of able and available unemployed is larger than the available advertised jobs and the reverse in the other half of the states. Just the simple act of moving from a low jobs area to high jobs area can help a job seeker increase their chances of finding employment. Just so that you know Alaska has the highest ratio of advertised jobs relative to the states population. Do you like the snow??

The US Census Board also has some intersting statistics that show the ratio of USA High School and University graduates is actually declining. The 88% ratio was hit in the year 2000 and seems to be backsliding. In some areas the drop out rate is 25%.

Just finishing your high school will help you statistically in getting a job - two additional college years will help even more - and of course the four year college degree helps the most.

Many advertised jobs in high demand are also the highest paying occupations and require the highest education:

Hotel is looking for a General Manager in the Port Richey, FL area. The hotel is offering accomodations on property with a salary of $24,000-$28,000.

The General Manager will be trained at this property for an estimated time of 6 months and transfered to larger flag hotel with the knowledge of company rules and policies.

This position will involve Revenue Management, Labor Control, Ensuring Quality of Service, Monitoring/Training employee's as well as ensuring all employee/guest satisfaction and organizing general maintenance of the property.

Gautam International is a one stop source for all hospitality needs. We work directly with Owners to make the best Owner/Operator team.

We have services in Management, Hotel & Restaurant Financing, FF&E as well as Payroll and Insurance resources.

Job Requirements: Hotel management exprerience preferred

Flexible hours required

Sales & Marketing Knowledge/Experience

Verbal and written communication skills

Computer knowledge (Word/Excel)

The ability to multi-task, organize and meet deadlines in a timely manner

Must have the ability to recognize revenue enhancing possibilities as well as be able to control revenue management.
