This firm allows you to grow at your own pace and obtain all the experience you could ever want. They are extensively experienced trial attorneys that do high quality work, love their clients and always win. I began at the firm as a brand new associate and they let you get experience at whatever pace you want if you demonstrate your desire and willingness to learn. The experience you obtain there is priceless and they bend over backwards for their employees. My primary criticism of them is that they work too hard to develop incompetent people and tolerate the incompetence for too long and the really good employees suffer because of it. They expect only the highest quality work for their clients. Look at the other reviews - the unhappy disgruntled employee who worked for the "managing principle" [sic] doesn't even know the difference between "principle" and "principal",

Cessna is a great company to work for. It's not doing so well right now, hopefullly it will go back to a decent state. My boss was a smart, flexible, easy to get along with, competent and has a great personality. Can't get better than that!

Hi worked for jaguar cars at the castlebromwich plant birmingham employee for 10 years. Resigned after supervisor, superintendant, hr employee, works nurse, works gp, all involved in copying and tampering with medical document relating to me and passing document around without my knowledge or consent. Complained to hr dept to my utter digust my complaint was dragged out for 8 months and total corruption and lies to protect these people by the two sadistic hr managers and there staff was disgusting.

I was threatened that if i did not withdraw my complaint the company would come after me wich they did a terrible way to treat an employee. Most senior managers involved in this whitewash MANAGING DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR OF HR, PLANT MANAGER ALL BASED AT GAYDON PLANT IN WARWICK, .

All those involved in copying this data made statements hr refused to let me see or have them it took me 18 months to get them 6 months after i resigned infact no wonder they were all taken by another supervisor associated with all of them. Needless to say they all lied the nurse and the hr employee scarpered i.e they left the company the two bullies supervision are still employed at castlebromwich birmingham.

Hr did a job on me and drove me to the edge when i resigned because i was over fifty i asked for my pension out of spite the hr manager refused my pension was reduced by 40% also i got no redundancy pay tried to get this in court but was out of time no support from the union they were on jaguars side.

JAGUAR OFFERED ME £500 TO SHUT UP IN THE END I GOT £1500 THEY STOLE THOUSANDS OF ME AND MY JOB AND PENSION A SHABBY SHABBY COMPANY . Now im unemployed and me and my wife have had an eviction notice put on our home and my wife is distraught and ill and jaguar cars could not care one iota.

THIS COMPANY AND THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM OF THE EARTH

I have been with GC and enjoy my job. they have vacation pay, holiday pay and health insurance. The GC I work at is a successful one. I made great tips and good pay. I would not make it a place to work for to long. anyone that wants more flexibility and would like kind words and great management then go to a full service salon. You must cut hair under 17 min or you will be fired, 8-9 hour shift and 30 min break. You are working fast, fast, fast like at a warehouse. One after another. People put yrs into this company just so they can be degreated, and then fired on the spot. If you been cutting for yrs and go to there training class to learn to cut there way but you see the trainer sucks. You are out of a job if you say anything about it. Just think about it GC only does cuts. You will lose all that you have been train at cosmatology school. if you stay to long with GC. The pay is great, But you will be treated unfairly.

I am a former Hughes Aircraft employees that got dragged, kicking & screaming, into Boeing as part of a buy out back in 2001. Boeing may know how to build a decent airplane, but they still don't know SHIT about building satellites. The pay is good, benefits are good, location here in SoCal is great. If only Boeing upper management would realize that you cannot build a communications satellite like you build a 747, we might have a chance of survival. The two biggest problems facing Boeing right now (and for the indefinite future) are:

1. Ridiculous overdone and time wasting policies & processes

2. Unions

The unions here will eventually kill this company, just like parasites often eventually kill their hosts. The labor unions make our costs skyrocket, which in turn takes us out of the bidding for alot of contracts. I'd be seriously surprised if Boeing's satellite/space division was still in business in 5 years.

Quicken is an amazing company to work for. It is the most fun I've ever had at a job. My team leader truly cares about my life and takes time to get to know me and my family. The VP in our area allows us to make our own schedule, as long as we stick to it consistently. There are so many team building events for families to take part in.

The pay could be better, but I am happy with what I make. Bonuses come when we have a good year, as do raises. Benefits are pretty great and cheap.

There is so much room for growth and learning. They will train you extensively on how to be a leader before ever being put in a leadership role.

The new building in Detroit is amazing and there are so many perks with the company, more so than just slushies and popcorn.

Quicken is like any employer. They have to follow certain rules. If it were true, the things said, then there's no way they would still be in business. Irate people will say anything. If you feel like you are giving up your morals, then that is your weakness and your issue, not something the company is making you do. There are many amazing people that work at Quicken who have not compromised their morals.

Never in my life have I had such an amazing employer as Quicken, and I think anyone would be honored to get a job there.

I worked at aero for about a year and a half. From the start I loved my job. The people i worked with were amazing and we always had fun at work. Most people would not want to do the overnight floorsets because of the hours we had to work, but with the store manager and staff I loved it. Then the DM of our area decided he wanted his best friend to become the store manager which ruined everything for all of us. As soon as she started to work there ur staff began dropping like flies. This new manager, who has severe OCD and is not personable at all, was out for all of holiday and kept extending her so called sick leave. As soon as she came back conviently our amazing (personable, friendly, understanding) store manager was fired and this new bitch was brought in. There went the rest of our staff. It was literally down from about a 20 person staff that knew each other and loved each other to about a 15 person staff with four people (not including new SM) that were veterans and left in the store. I toughed it our for 9 months before i could not take anymore of her shit and quit. After giving her my availability and vacation time needed off she would mess up my schedule often. I was a part time employee so she could not tell me that i dont get my time off. The 1st time this happened I called myself out of work. The 2nd time it happened she told me to find replacement for an entire week of 8-5 shifts. When i refused she gave me attitude, but in the end she had to find it because it was her mistake. The third time it happened was the last straw for me. she tried to keep me working while I had to go to school, which was not happening. At this point I was the only original person left, and she treated me like I was nothing even though I worked with her for almost a year. Along with all of this i was making just above minimum wage at 19 yrs old busting my ass whereas the minors who couldnt stay past 11 and were brand new were making almost a dollar more than me. Also i was running the stock room as a sales associate. I had more responsibility than most people getting paid the least. It was complete and total bullshit. I have worked with many other Aero & P.S. stores and would much rather go work with those SM's and managers than the ones in Rockaway. I would not recommend anyone going to work for that store unless you know that the current store manager is gone. She made an enjoyable and fun job for me into one of the worst jobs a person could ever have.

Working Macys Manhasset is a good experience for first time hirers on your resume. It is a good Work Environment, although it gets boring without customers and the music at times may make you fall asleep unless your in cosmetics. Employees have good benefits if you take advantage of them. The managers are extremely nice. Every year you get a review, and then a raise. They are very flexible on time and life balances. The most amazing comment about working at macys is the employee discount. Our discount cover all brands including the high end ones like Michael Kors, Cole Haan, Coach etc.

If your not sure about working here do seasonal work.

If they want to get rid of you they will not schedule you any hours for the payperiod but keep your name on the schedule as if you will get hours when they are available. They refuse to pay unemployment because they get away with this practice. You can get any 0 hours for months on end and they say that you still work for them. No respect for their employees.

Overall this company has a culture that is unique, fair, and refreshing. You will be hard pressed to find a company that treats people as well as they do here. It is work and it is technology, so there is stress involved...however considering all things not sure if there is another like it. Owners are good at communicating to all levels of the organization and will hear you out.

The company is growing at a healthy pace and is serving a niche market which means it should be viable for a good amount of time to come.

More good things to say but you get the point.

I recently ended a career in Portland branch, and the company has improved considerably from the time I started. Industrial chemical distribution has a huge regulatory overlay that makes for a job that requires significant ongoing training , which is expensive and time consuming. So when you get a job at Univar, it is part of the culture and expectation that you keep current in your training and are very diligent about details and accuracy. This experience has translated to a team that ( in Portland, at least) is very cohesive and careful about safety, accuracy and customer service. I really enjoyed the last half of my career there, in spite of several ownership changes and the continued economies that come with each buyout.

One of the things about Univar, is once you hire on, the cost of training and the time it takes to become a contributor makes layoffs a last choice thing. If you lay off someone you have trained and they go elsewhere, the company loses that value. So Univar doesn't lay off except as a last resort thing.

But like any company, they will squeeze you till there isn't anything left if you let them.

They aren't perfect, but it was a good gig while I was there.

They are pretty fair, TM is a straight shooter, safety is strict, sometimes it needs to be stricter, fixing the equipment is done when written up, would want a higher wage, but the OT makes up for it. I get time off pretty much when requested. I like working here.

I can hardly believe that this account is being ran by a GM who lacks leadership and vision, a childish, immature, lazy Assistant Manager who thinks she is God's gift to AVI and the world, a catering supervisor that has no idea what she is doing and at last our executive chef, the only thing he runs is his mouth!

I work every day and give my all knowing that if I were as lousy in my duties they would fire me! We have a very hard working staff and we should be lead by our supervisors and have confidence in their abilities and judgment. Too bad that isn't the case and as a result we lose good people! Why aren't you holding your managers accountable? Not just in this account but others as well!
