I feel as though I am developing a photograph in my throat.
Commission: Make a sculpture which is a series of conjoined human necks, all dissected, open (resin) which hold a time progression of a faux-Polaroid photograph upon which an image is developing. Perhaps the image is a banal landscape. Perhaps not.
Pay for art: zero dollars.

Collect as many types of commercial sheaths as you can and display them in a vitrine as though they were archeological relics, arrowheads or such. Look especially for plastic sheaths in pastel colors of the sort that cover spatulas and other kitchen implements. Arrange by synonymy of form and be sensitive to color (pastel spectrums would be very nice). Two power strips plugged into each other, Ouroboros-fashion, one of them unbelievably old and dirty, worn, and the other brand new from the store with the packaging materials still on it.

This is the painting that was found.
Maybe you don't have to be a Caravaggio scholar to recognize this as the work of an epigone. Although, if you were a Caravaggio scholar, you probably would decry this; two out of three such experts have attempted to put the kibosh to this Caravaggio fervor and hoopla. They insist it is the work of an imitator.

These are just the first pass through. I haven't touched a single one and of course I want to do many things to each image. I was experimenting with an improvised lens cover. This is a VERY lofi digital camera. The image is almost all grain. I will play with the values to showcase the grain in many of these so it's not "receding." Sometimes I like the idea that digital grain = pigment. I finally have a pinhole camera on its way to me.
There are often better deals to be had with vintage cameras on Etsy than on Ebay. It surprised me to learn this.
I lurve the way pinhole cameras deform the light of this world.
I think I will break down soon, buy a kit and actually start developing a little because I want to experiment with photographic paper in pinhole cameras. I seriously worry that I am going to stumble on the remains of one of this serial killer's victims one of these days. I'm often back in largely inaccessible areas of our local woods (mostly dwindling from development these days).
Here's the really strange thing. I'm fairly certain I attended school with that killer at the junior high school level (and possibly even high school).
