A few test shots from my new camera phone using camera360, so far it seems just add good if better than my previous camera phone the Samsung s8500 but I still expected more from the 8mp camera. The file sizes seem on the small size and it would be nice if Sony allowed an option to change the jpeg quality.

Wentworth Falls
There is an upper looking for these falls but you cannot really see them from it, lucky there is another path to follow that has a better view. These falls are in the Jamison Valley, Blue Mountains

Between Evans Lookout and The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens we visited the Zig Zag railiway. We got the steam engine that looks like Thomas the Tank Engine (minus the face), this is where I managed to sprain my right ankle. Just in time for the all day walking planned for Sydney and the hill walking at the gardens show below.

Sunday morning...

Caught up with Jeroen Stel (http://www.jeroenstel.com/) this morning for a couple of hours whilst he's in the country to photograph some local birds. Below are a few of the shots I got with my biggest lens Zuiko 40-150mm (not really good enough to get good close up shots of birds)

Next one is a shot of a Blue Wren, as you can see my lens doesn't allow me to get a close enough shot.

A kingfisher, never seen one before. Jeroen noticed this one and got some good shots before it flew off.

Just happened to be in the right spot to get a few actions shots of a Willy Wagtail.

I think I got a shot of a sunspot yesterday evening, I was taking some shots with my macro lens when I pointed it towards the setting sun, the bokeh effect allowed me to see the sun without hurting my eyes.

Tonight I walked to the front door and seen white light trying to come in round the blinds. I thought there shouldn't be a full moon yet, opened the door and there's a street light across the road! Wasn't there last night. Been living on this street for 25 years and it's always been dark... how am I suppose to do astrophotography now... in the image below the small light to the left of the pole is the moon...

Been a while since I've used the camera, decided i'd take it to work and on lunch break take some shots of the yellow leaves on the trees. Good idea but I'm a few days late, the recent wind and rain has moved most of the leaves from the trees to the ground, so here's what i ended up with...

I still had some time left so I headed up to the cathedral for a few shots

Above and below are made up from 3 images (auto bracketing with EV steps at 1). The top one was put together in PSE9 using the Photomerge Exposure the bottom one was done in PS CS4 using the HDR tool.
