We’ve been excited about Ben and Jessica’s wedding all year long; ever since this incredibly photogenic couple’s engagement session last fall, then Jessica’s recent bridal fashion session. It was a beautiful summer day at a couple of my favorite venues and vendors: 2nd Presbyterian Church, the Sheraton Read House, and the amazing Humphrey’s Flowers! What a pleasure it was being part of Ben and Melanie’s wedding. We just love this couple! Make sure you check out their engagement session, which was — of course — at their alma mater UGA. After an absolutely amazing Catholic ceremony at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the couple was off to the Cherokee Town Club for their spectacular reception featuring none other than the incomparable Bobby and the Aristocats. Jack – World Cup, eating with a spoon, prize fighter | personal

So I know that the World Cup is old news…but I was looking through these pictures, and just had to post a few. Not only did we push Jack’s high chair over so that he could watch the final match; we were crazy enough to let him start feeding himself with a spoon. Then, we had two sports to watch simultaneously! Thankfully Jack didn’t have to deal with any ‘offsides’ calls, or poor refereeing.

I couldn’t omit the ridiculously cute robe…I’ll try and get another pic up soon that shows the hood up. Lookout, Don King.

Millicent + Vincent | engaged

I recently met up with Vincent and his soon-to-be bride Millicent in Chattanooga’s South Side, and had a tremendous time. Vincent was so hilarious, I’m actually surprised that all of these pictures are in focus because I absolutely couldn’t stop laughing. He and Millicent are such a beautiful and fun couple and I can’t wait for their wedding at the Sheraton Read House.

The reason for the random picture of 2 birds…is that one of them dropped a present on my head during the shoot! ha! I guess that’s supposed to mean good luck in Italy!
