A decision now has to be made as to whether a tube shaft needs to be placed in the whole prior to bringing the men out</span>. <span style="font:24px Times, Georgia, Courier, serif; ">Supreme Court&rsquo;s Citizens United ruling earlier this year, these and similar 501(c) nonprofits have become huge players in the year&rsquo;s election, using unlimited money from&nbsp;donors who have no fear of disclosure. (Not surprisingly, the chamber&nbsp;has been a leading opponent&nbsp;of legislation to require disclosure.) One such group, American Crossroads,&nbsp;organized by Karl Rove,&nbsp;announced on Tuesday a $4.2 million ad buy&nbsp;to support Republican candidates, bringing the group&rsquo;s total spending to about $18 million so far.  <br /><br />For at least 44 years,&nbsp;it has been illegal&nbsp;for foreign corporations, countries and individuals to make political contributions in the United States for any election, either directly&nbsp;or indirectly. It is even against the law to solicit such contributions. But The United States&nbsp;Chamber of Commerce, one of the biggest advertisers in midterm races around the country, is actively soliciting foreign money, and government enforcers seem to be doing&nbsp;nothing to stop it. <br /><br />Openings delayed at Guantanamo detainee's trial after judge rules key witness can't testify. The first civilian trial for a Guantanamo Bay detainee was delayed Wednesday after aManhattan judge told prosecutors they cannot call their star witness.<br /><br />The Obama administration scrambled to halt a sharp deterioration in its troubled relationship with Pakistan on Wednesday, offering Pakistani officials multiple apologies for a helicopter strike on a border post that killed three Pakistani soldiers last week.<br /><br />The Supreme Court on Wednesday took on the highly charged First Amendment issues raised by a fundamentalist church which has been picketing U.S. service members' funerals and a grieving father who wants it to be stopped.<br /><br />A Mississippi lawyer was jailed for not saying pledge of allegiance in court. <br /><br />Lou Dobbs had undocumented workers tending his show horses while arguing on CNN that employers of undocumented workers should face felony charges.<br /><br />The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to jailed Chinese dissident  Liu Xiaobo.<br /><br />New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to ban  federal Food Stamp use for soda and other soft drinks.<br /><br /><br /><br /></span>  ]]></content:encoded></item><item><title>John H.
