Supporting efforts to educate children on aviation, John Travolta and Kelly Preston attended the Living Legends Of Aviation Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday (January 18).

The "Grease" star donned a black suit, blue dress shirt, and black tie while his lovely wife wore a navy blue sleeveless gown on the red carpet.

Hosted by the 58-year-old actor and pilot himself, the awards have honored Living Legends in the field such as Buzz Aldrin, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Sully Sullenberger, and Kurt Russell.

Produced by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy, the awards also support the non-profit organization dedicated to introducing, educating, and sparking children’s interest in aviation.

Remember John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's very entertaining Christmas music video "I Think You Might Like It?"

Well, fans of the wonderfully cheesy Christmas jingle (like us!) are in luck because the Grease duo has plans for more holiday music!

"The thing is, we're going to try to add a couple of songs every year to that CD," Travolta told us at the G'Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala in L.A. "And then maybe do a music video each year so, at the end of it all, we'll have a whole [collection]."

Is that a promise? "I hope so!" he smiled.

And more music isn't the only thing on the horizon. When asked if he could see any acting projects in the future for Newton-John and him, Travolta said, "Maybe connected to the Christmas idea…maybe a Christmas movie or maybe a Christmas special or something."

Meanwhile, Travolta also revealed that his and wife Kelly Preston's 12-year-old daughterElla and 2-year-old son Benjamin are following in his musical footsteps.

"My kids are musically inclined," the 58-year-old actor dished. "Of course, my son is two so it hasn't developed yet, but my daughter has lots of interests in musical instruments and she's a good singer."

Keith Urban, Miranda Kerr, Liam Hemsworth, actor couple Daniel MacPherson and Zoe Ventoura, brothers Anthony and Jonathon LaPaglia and actor Josh Lawson were among the famous faces at the Qantas Spirit of Australia party, held at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Qantas ambassador John Travolta was at the event, which promotes travel to Australia and celebrates Aussie success in the US.

One of Australia's most successful musicians, Urban was guest of honour and performed a 20-minute set for the VIP guests.

The Nashville-based star, who is married to Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman, called Travolta up on stage for an impromptu duet of the Beatles hit Yesterday, thrilling the crowd.

"It's a privilege to be able to lend my support to promoting the beauty and culture of Australia," Urban told the crowd.

"There's a spirit about Australia that I see in our girls, even though they were born in Nashville.

"Strangely enough, Nic was born in Hawaii and I was born in New Zealand. But we were fully raised in Australia - all our childhood memories are Aussie.

"So I can see there is a particular spirit in our house that the girls have without having been raised there."

Supermodel Miranda Kerr said her two-year-old son Flynn was also embracing his Australian heritage, despite being raised mainly in the US.

"He does love Vegemite on toast, and I've taught him to say, 'G'day mate'," she said.

"Australia is such a special place and I'm really proud to be Australian."

Kerr looked ravishing on the red carpet in a red and white Oscar de la Renta ruffled gown, and Zoe Ventoura shone in a Rachael Gilbert mini.

Travolta said he admired Australians for their openness and spirit of adventure.

"We want to be as upfront, wild and innovative. You tempt us to unleash that."

Mobster biopic is back on track

The planned big-screen biopic about John Gotti seemed as if it was sleeping with the fishes a few months ago, but now it looks as if the mob film is about to be made.

Still starring John Travolta as the notorious Gambino boss, “Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father” is back on track thanks to an infusion of money and a new script finished last week.

“We’re full speed right now,” Marc Fiore, one of the film’s producers, told The Post. “We just got our newest script from [British screenwriter] Lem Dobbs. We’re going forward.”

“Gotti” had been mired in controversy since it was pitched as son John “Junior” Gotti’s take on his notorious father, who “died by the mob code” behind bars in June 2002.Plaguing the production were multimillion-dollar lawsuits brought by boldface talents, including Joe Pesci, who claimed they were duped after signing on, countless false starts and other money woes — not to mention an ensuing game of musical-chairs with directors.

Actress Lindsay Lohan was even trotted out in a high-profile press conference months ago, announcing that she would play Gotti Sr.’s wife — only to have her name later mysteriously scrubbed from the credits listed on the film’s IMDb Web site.

Junior’s lawyer Charles Carnesi might play himself in the flick.

Fiore insisted, “The movie actually never sunk.’’

Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson has signed on to the project, replacing Nick Cassavetes, and A-lister Al Pacino is set to play the late Gambino underboss and Gotti mentor Aniello Dellacroce. Hollywood heavyweight producer Ted Field is still on board, too.

And that’s all good news for Junior. He’s had outstanding tax liens against him since 2001, and a trial date has now been set to force him to deal with them.

According to legal documents obtained by The Post from various city, state and federal agencies, his bill, plus interest, totals more than $250,000.

Anothe Junior lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, said that while the trial date has been set, he hopes a settlement can be reached.

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John’s new Christmas song “I Think You Might Like It” hit No. 1 on UU-BRU Internet Radio on Friday.

The song was written by John Farrar, the man who penned the couple’s 1978 No. 1 smash “You’re The One That I Want” from the movie “Grease.”

Meanwhile, the video for “I Think You Might Like It,” filmed in Marion County and featuring several Ocala residents, has had nearly 7.9 million hits on YouTube.

“I Think You Might Like It” is an original song from the pair’s recent CD “This Christmas,” a collection of holiday standards performed with guest stars including Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, James Taylor and Chick Corea.

Proceeds from the CD benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Centre and the Jett Travolta Foundation.

UU-BRU Internet Radio is a request-based, multi-genre station that bills itself as the “electric, eclectic Top 40.” Up from No. 8 last week, “I Think You Might Like It” is an upbeat, country-tinged song about spending Christmas in your hometown.

Travolta and his family (including his wife, actress Kelly Preston) have called Marion County home for about a decade. They live in Anthony, where much of the music video was filmed with Newton-John.

Everybody knows a turkey
And some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

And goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer
Really know how to fly.
