Topics include initiatives that were identified by the Older Iowans Legislature (OIL) during the 2019 session, the shortage of healthcare workers, the recently enacted Care Act, concerns over dependent adult abuse in Iowa, funding for the six area agencies on aging to enable them to work on innovative ways of meeting the nutritional older Iowans, and minimum universal design standards for publicly funded housing.
