Rule 4. Saturate and nourish

Winter is not in a hurry, it takes its time to cover everything around with a white fluffy veil.

Winter, like an artist, decorates the frost on our windows with inimitable, amazingly beautiful ornaments.

The snow and the cold make up the unpredictable winter weather.

It’s tremendously charming when the white mossy snowflakes are circling in the dance and falling slowly on the ground for a final curtsey… Every morning is a new surprise because you don't know what the weather will be like.

However, despite that winter brings its inconvenience to our skin because of the cold, wind and dry air in apartments and offices, it also damages the delicate sensitive skin which contacts with scarves, high collars and winter hats during the cold season.

In cold weather it happens that oily skin verges close to normal, and normal skin becomes dry, when dry skin becomes too sensitive and irritated.

In winter, do not wash face with soap nor use any lotions that contain alcohol , otherwise it causes additional dryness, tightening and flaking of your skin.Experts often recommend washing your face with milk or cream.

The most popular cosmetology advises is to start your morning beauty procedure with washing the face with a weak brew of green tea or decoction of chamomile. If you want to have a tanned skin, a weak brew of black tea, but without any additives. It will work just perfect.

It is recommended to apply a nourishing cream in the morning 20-30 minutes before going outside, but a moisturizer is to be used at night.

In order to look good and do not grow ugly by spring, make the following masks twice a week.

Rejuvenating and nourishing mask. 1 Tbsp honey diluted with warm cream. By using a brush, apply the mixture very gently and evenly on the face, neck and chest for 20 minutes. Wash it off with a chamomile decoction or a warm water. Wipe the face with a piece of ice from the broth of parsley, if do not have such, an ordinary piece of ice will be fine. Then use a moisturizing cream. This mask also helps to get rid of wrinkles and tightening.
For very dry skin. 1 Tbsp lime blossom (available at pharmacies) make ½ cup boiling water and infuse for 2 hours. Strain, take the 1 Tbsp infusion, add 1 Tbsp butter without natural herbal supplements, mix well and apply on face for 20 – 25 min. Afterwards, remove the remnants of fat with a cloth.
Potato Mask. Get a flat, smooth potato tuber. Cook potatoes with skin , then peel hot, turn quickly into a puree; add 1-2 Tbsp sour cream and apply this mixture on face and neck. Cover with a towel. 20-25 minutes after, rinse with a warm water.

Well, I have nothing to say against this product, BUT I love Kerastase Nectar more, if Kerastase is a bit too expensive for your budget, L’Oreal Thermo Repair will do the job almost as good as Kerastase will. The results are similar to Kerastase, it moisturizes, softens and makes your hair more flexible. Unfortunately for me, it’s not enough for my hair. It has a pleasant scent and is very economical to use.

My opinion: Lotion wasn’t any help for me. The first 2 weeks I had little results, and the longer I used it the results became no better. The combing process was very difficult and hair felt and looked sticky. I didn’t see or feel any results from this tonic at all, but I absolutely love the aroma my hair has after using it.

My opinion: I would rate it as an OKAY product. Yes, my hair became shinier, but I was really expecting WOW results. I have to say, however, that my hair wasn’t as dry, and there was less hair loss. The best part of this product is the delicious sweet berry aroma leaving your hair with a very delicate scent.

My opinion: I am very delighted with this stuff! Apricot oil, one of the main ingredients of this lotion works miracles. I have a lot of hair on my head, but they are very thin and hard to comb. Thanks to Redken, I spray Polishing Prep on my hair 3 times and combing becomes much easier and more enjoyable. In addition, dried hair becomes not only shiny and manageable, but thicker! I spread it through the length of my hair without applying it to the roots. I apply it on damp hair before blow-drying. The "dispenser" is great; it dispenses very small droplets, which makes the product very economical and easy to use.

My opinion: I love the idea of using it as a night time application. It feels like every part of my body is resting and getting cared for. Two doses are plenty for long hair if you’re using the dispenser. I rinsed it off while taking a shower in the morning and got soft, elastic, beautiful hair that lightly smelled like flowers. Everything promised by the manufacturer came true.

My opinion: During the first week, I guess my hair was so dry that it soaked in the oil in only seconds. I was using this product on vacation, and it did protect my hair from dehydration. The smell is a little bit too strong for me, but after a day or so I guess I became used to it, it became less sharp and more pleasant. I didn’t notice any miracles happening with my hair, but I found no minuses either. So I guess I can say: “its Okay shampoo and milk”

My opinion: Nice smell and texture. My hair looks stronger and healthier already after the first use.

Moisturizes and adds volume to fine hair.

In my opinion, the shampoo of this series smells much better than the milk. You have to spread it out to the tips your hair, making sure not to apply it to your roots.

Since I use them together, shampoo and lotion, I will rate them as one product.

So: I didn’t notice my hair becoming any stronger, but the hair loss process was reduced dramatically. The volume was definitely a nice addition to the look of my hair. My only concern is that the size of the shampoo is 8.5oz, but the size of the milk is 6.8oz, so your milk will finish before your shampoo, not economical for me to use.

From Me: Well it does neutralize the unwanted yellow tone, especially if you leave it on your hair for 15-20 minutes. I can’t say though that this shampoo detangles your hair. For that purpose I use masks and conditioners.
