OMG Jessica and Tyler are for sure one of the cutest couples we have met! These 2 know each other forwards and backwards for a couple reasons: 1) they are dating and now engaged 2) they are each others water ski partners Yes you read that right! These 2 are professional water skier and they perform as a team. It is so cool! I am really hoping that once summer is here that Jonathan & I can go watch them perform and even perhaps snag some action shots! So as you will see in their engagement session we had to include a prop that plays a significant part in their life…their boat!

We are so thankful to Jacqueline Chapelle for sending this cute couple our way. Amber is from America and Tareq is from Jordan and goes by the nickname Tiger. A nickname Jonathan never could get himself to say LOL! We had fun with Amber and Tareq running around downtown Houston capturing photos on a beautiful, cool winter day. Here are just a few of our favorites from their beautiful session.

The above photo is so cute because Amber is wearing a belt that is commonly seen in Jordan!

I’m a sucker for other redheads! Isn’t her hair pretty!!!

Emma’s Beautiful Custom Designed Baby Room

I have to start this post by saying I owe a HUGE thank you to be-dazzled in North Dallas and to my mother in law for helping Jonathan and I create this fabulous room! We had so much fun bringing all this together! As soon as the nurse said, “it’s a girl!” I thought my head was going to pop with excitement, thoughts and planning! Right then and there, things went crazy and Jonathan could see himself going broke Although I must admit I feel like I did a good job budget wise, I think I did an ever better job creating a Pink Paradise. Like seriously, this room radiates pink! It is so happy in Emma’s room! Here are a few photos Jonathan took for us!

The hanging balloon and the ballet shoes were both brought back from France from our trip there in 2011. We actually left the day after we found out we were having a girl so all I could think about the entire time was looking for things for Emma. These are 2 of the items Jon’s mom aka: Mimi brought back for us. It was also while in Paris that we decided we would name our little girl Emma!

Here is the bed as a whole containing all the custom bedding designed by Jonathan & I and created at be-dazzled. Isn’t it awesome! We love it!!! The stuffed animal on the right is Jams! Jonathan bought him for Emma while we were in France. Jonathan though he was so cool and knew Emma just had to have him. She LOVES him by the way!

The animals hanging on the back of the bed are also from France. They have the best colors over there. No bright or florescent colors, just elegant neutrals. They also have unique and cute characters that aren’t Winnie the Pooh (sorry Pooh fans, I’m just not one). We brought these items back and designed the entire room around them! Below are the other items that played a significant role in our design.

These are 4 drawings by a French artist about a love story between a boy and a girl that we found in a small outdoor market in Europe. So we bought them and brought them back and framed them through our framing company (perk of the job). Aren’t they amazing!

The paper chain and Emma sign above Emma’s bed was made by Jonathan’s parents for her baby shower and we brought it back and placed it in her room. Hand Made my Mimi and Papa with love!

And then of course we had to get some photos with our girl in her room wearing her signature color! Onesie: Robin Wren Designs Headband: Heaven Sent Children’s Boutique

Every month (or so…we try) to take a picture of Emma in this chair with Jams beside her so that we can see her grow!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

As wedding photographers I’m sure its easy to see why we are in love with Love! Love is the very reason we exist! So in honor of this beautiful holiday we are sharing with you the thing we love the most…Our little Emma! As a professional model for JIP the demand of her duty to be fabulously cute all the time seem to never wear on her and for that we are thankful. Here is yet another adorable session with the Love of our Life!

Emma’s adorable ruffled romper is from Giggle, Glitz and Glam and the lace headband with flower is from Heaven Sent Boutique!

The pearls Emma is wearing around her neck belonged to her Great Great Grandmother Mamaw (Samantha’s Great Grandmother on Dad’s side) and the pearls around her wrist belong to her Mommy and were given to her Mommy by Mimi (Jonathan’s mom)!

And by now most of y’all will have received your Valentine’s card from us! Below is the card for those who didn’t receive one in the mail! Jonathan did a great job designing it around our model’s favorite color and photo.

Hot Air Balloon Photo Shoot

One of our favorite things to do is Styled Shoots!!! What is a styled shoot you may ask? It is where we team with a group of vendors to create an extraordinary event for something simple yet fabulous like an engagement, a proposal, bridals and more! Here we combined a proposal and engagement shoot with a local Hot Air Balloon Festival and what we got was Gorgeous! We owe a huge thank you to Lottie with Couture Events for organizing this and to Rita with Rent My Dust for loaning us props. Both girls also spent their day creating and setting up this amazing photo shoot and we really could not recommend each of them enough! Lottie is a brilliant wedding and event planner who defines the very essences of the word Creative! Rita owns pretty much the coolest store we have ever encountered. She rents ‘her dust’ to those of us who can’t distinguish a treasure from trash until she makes it beautiful for us. She provided many of the props shown here like the chicken coop acting as our table, the antique radio on the table and more. She can make your event a one of a kind with little to no effort on your behalf!

Old Museum Wedding- Pam & Mike

When we think back on our weddings we photograph we like to give the wedding a theme and without a doubt the theme to this wedding was Dance Party! This crew knew how to dance and how to have fun. Seeing that a large group of these gentlemen are lawyers, not only was a courthouse wedding appropriate, this shot in particular was a must! Yes, they set themselves up in the appropriate spots. Looks convincing huh?!

Houston Luxury Engagement Photographer- Lauren & Zach

Um, is this couple not the cutest ever! Lauren and Zach are such a perfect match! We met up with these two at their adorable town home downtown Houston to set off to take their engagement photos. We ran around Sunset Blvd in Rice Village for a bit enjoying the gorgeous weather before heading to Hermann Park just outside downtown Houston to take advantage of the beautiful skyline.

Isn’t there little town home so cute? I want one! They also have the coolest backyard with the lights strung and a backyard double swing. So so so cute!

So yes, we are still at it, posting photos that should have been posted a LONG time ago! Better late than never is still the theme here Here are a few photos from Emma’s First Christmas photo shoot! As you can see, she had fun on this shoot! We timed things a bit better and we did not place her in anything freezing cold or wet which I’m sure was a great start. Anyhow, the first few photos of Emma were of her “styled shoot” which was a theme Jonathan and I did together. Isn’t she the cutest in her pink Christmas!

Then these next few photos of her in red were my theme. I just love her My First Christmas outfit with her Santa shoes that Maddie gave her and her striped hat that I bought her. She had a blast doing this photo shoot as you can see!

Then this last set of photos was Jonathan’s theme. Her “Decked Out” outfit is Jon’s favorite and he set her up in the greenery. Now, I must admit we almost ran back into the pumpkin problem here with how pokey the greenery was but she pulled through to get these.
