Hey Everyone,
I am finally getting time to edit some of my Israel photos. I am going to post some of them in groups where they were shots.

These four pictures are from my cousin, Liron- redhead, concert for school. I made photos of her and her friend. Wow, I wish my pictures could express the feelings these two artists made me feel while they preformed.

Camping In Yehudia Park

This past weekend, two friends and myself, went up north and went to Yehudia Park. We camped there then started our hike in the morning. We hiked through water most of the way. The most exciting parts were Cliff Diving, Swimming in natural pools (and with a dead pig in the water), Hitch Hiking, seeing a car blow up, and finish in the Sea of Galilee. Here are a few pics I made:

Yesterday it was very warm here in the holy land- so, me and my friend David decided to bike to, Bait Anay, the beach close by. With me I brought a simple old 5mp camera- no zoom. I made a few photos. Here they are:

Hey Ya'll,

As many of you know I have been in Israel now for about three weeks. I am living on a kibbutz named Mishmar-Hasharon and I am studying Hebrew. Today, we had our first trip for the program and it was to the holy city of Jerusalem. Here are some shots- keep in mind I don't have access to any photoshop type program so I can't add contrast or take out a piece of dust on every pictures- Enjoy!

A Rocker!

A couple days ago I took some photographs of a young rocker named Tom! He truly is amazing and he has only been playing for a couple of months. I am way impressed with him! We did a photo shoot and this is how artists can inspired others- this is what he gave me.

As many of you know, I leave for Israel this Friday. So- today I made a to-do list of things before I leave. On this list was to get a converter for all of my electronics. I remembered my father having one. So started the scavenger hunt. I looked in his drawer of random stuff and I came across a little package of old photographs. I thought they would be a great thing to blog about so- I scanned them and here they are... Do we look a like?

Hey Ya'll,

I won't be able to hold my photography show as planned, at Nicolet High School. The meeting to formally organize my show happened too late in the semester, which made it virtually impossible for me to organize it all. I am graduating at the end of the semester and need to crunch a lot of things in before I leave for Israel. In addition, I didn't have enough assistance from the art department to make it happen. I am sorry about this since I put in a lot of time and effort in mounting all of the photographs. I was extremely satisfied with my final portfolio, which I completed while I attended Cardinal Stritch.

Thank you Nicolet High School, for supporting me in developing my interest in photography over the years. I will continue to work hard pursuing my goals while I'm in Israel and in college this fall. Watch for more blogs from me!

Rochambo

Interesting things happen when you least expect it. Yesterday, I went to Rochambo with Kathryn and I overheard an interesting conversation. It was between an old man who had a twitch in his right eye- he was facing me. Sitting across from him was a man with a thick accent. I felt like as though I was participating in a movie scene, because of the dark lighting and the disturbing conversation. One man sounding very suspicious said, "The difference between us and the Jews are... they are not trustworthy." While talking, the old man was twitching profusely. I hope one day to recreate this scene and photograph it, to educate others about ignorance.

There are three main reasons why: 1) great way to quickly communicate with friends and family. 2) it is like a constant chat room. 3) it was in the New York Times Top 50 Websites of 2007. So if you sign up for one, "friend me" on it. I've had mine for about a week and I love it. You will too!!

Israel Update / Facebook information

Ipod Touch vs Archos 5

Hey,
So, as many if not all of you know I am going to Israel next month and I don't have an mp3 player. I was debating between the all popular Ipod Touch and the new and improved Archos 5. There are many benifits between the two.
The Good
IPOD - long battery life, apple name, many applications.
ARCHOS 5 - supports many video and audio types, great screen size, cheaper, very user friendly.

The Bad
IPOD- Expensive, two formants compatable, not a lot of memory.
ARCHOS 5- No itunes, Small battery life (4hrs), a little bigger.

So, which should I buy!?!

So, after a long night of debating with myself. I have come up with a solution to my web problems. Have both. I decided to have weebly host my website- then have a "blidget" to my blog. Anyways, it is now 4 a.m. and I am happy with the out come. Please tell me if you like my NEW website :) The header picture will change when I have a computer with photoshop on it, I know it't pixaly. Well, goodnight. hehe.

There are many things that I think blogger can improve upon. I think they should add the option of having a website. This would be very appealing to me. After researching I discovered tha The Blogger is the best choice for blogging.. Here are a list of blog sites I tried:
1) Tumblr
2) Blog.com
3) Weebly - this one is my first runner up because it has both options- however it was too simplified for me, despite being very user friendly. If you want to see my page on weebly ~click here~. There seemed to be too many little things that were wrong with weebly. For one- the side bar was very hard to configure. Also, since you can make a web page- I thought they should let one import a blog from another site- like blogger. If I could have the best of both worlds, these would be the two sites I would intertwine!

I am waiting for weebly to become more technologically friendly. Until then, I am sticking with blogger.
