nachtdienst" kwam bij velen hard binnen. Het laat de rauwe werkelijkheid
zien van zorgprofessionals zoals verpleegkundige Berry, die na een traumatische
gijzeling van 45 minuten werd geconfronteerd met een schrijnend gebrek aan
passende hulp.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Bij veel organisaties lijkt de nazorg na agressie-incidenten
in theorie goed geregeld via incidentmeldingen en protocollen. De praktijk
blijkt echter vaak weerbarstiger:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Onbedoelde onkunde: Collegiaal opvangers die niet weten
hoe ze met trauma om moeten gaan (zoals het aanbieden van slechts "een
kwartiertje voor een bakje koffie" na een gijzeling)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Overbelaste managers: In de waan van de dag verdwijnt de
specifieke behoefte van de getroffenen uit het zicht.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Risico op uitstroom: Zonder adequate nazorg (aangevuld met
specialistische EMDR of gesprekstherapie) neemt de kans op chronische klachten
zoals PTSS toe, waardoor we broodnodige professionals definitief
kwijtraken.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;







&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Drie op de vier zorgverleners krijgt te maken met agressie.
Goede nazorg is dan ook geen "extraatje", maar een wettelijke plicht
en een morele verantwoordelijkheid van de werkgever. Het is essentieel om dit
kwalitatief en structureel te organiseren volgens de herziene richtlijnen voor
hoog-risico beroepen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Wij delen namelijk een doel. Edukans helpt kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden vanaf jonge leeftijd aan onderwijs. Goede studie vergroot immers de kans op arbeid: hetzij in loondienst hetzij in het ondernemerschap.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wij geloven dat ons doel vergelijkbaar is met dat van Stichting Edukans. In ons training- en coaching-programma leert iedere deelnemer zijn of haar potentie benutten. In het rijke Westen hebben wij hiervoor voldoende gelegenheid, maar dat geldt niet voor de kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden.
