We are proud to announce the release of the version 1.2 of the best GPL rating plugin native for Joomla! 1.5. Some of the major changes:

The plugin allow now to limit the rating submission to only registered users.
The plugin can accept periodical rating submissions from registered users (the interval is configurable in the plugin preferences).
New languages compatibility added (da-DK, el-GR, pt-BR, sv-SE).

New JMovies 1.3.2 version released

The new version of JMovies has been released. You can download now the JMovies 1.3.2 version in our commercial extensions download section. We are proud to announce the release of the version 1.1 of the best GPL rating plugin native for Joomla! 1.5. Some of the major changes:

The plugin makes now valid XHTML 1.1 content.
Fixes an Internal Server Error (e500) problems with some servers.
Full customizable content rating description.
New languages compatibility added (de-DE, es-ES, fa-IR, nl-NL, pl-PL, ru-RU, zh-CN, zh-TW).

Security bug in JMovies 1.1

Dear members,

in the latest days it has been found a security bug in JMovies 1.1 which allows an SQL injection attack to the site. Our staff already known it and has already fixed it since JMovies 1.2.5.

However the version 1.1 is a very very old release which is no more supported by our team. To everybody which has not an updated version we raccomend to download the latest version of the component!

The latest version of JMovies is 1.3.1. Remember to keep up to date your JMovies component! Download it now!

New MoxMovies template for JMovies

JMovies Mootools List and Pictures Scroll modules updated!

Since today, downloading the Jmovies component you can find the Joomla! 1.5 legacy compatible version of both Mootools List and Pictures Scroll modules.

To obtain these two new modules you just need to download the component from the commercial extension download area. The two files are inside the archive, extract it and install them on your web site through the Joomla! Administration module manager.

New JOOMItaly Forum has opened

We are happy to announce you the opening of the new JOOMItaly FORUM where you can search, ask and obtain informations about JOOMItaly extensions.

The forum is initially structured in this way:
- an ANNOUNCEMENTS section where you will find news and announcements about the JOOMItaly team, the site (forum) or the extensions;
- a GENERAL section where to read or ask for general informations about JOOMItaly;
- a VOTItaly section where you will ask for informations or dubt resolutions about this new Joomla! 1.5 native plugin;
- a new JMovies section where to put any request about the component.

The latter section is structured in other four subsection:
- Translation: everyone who want to translate JMovies in a new language can post here;
- Site Showcase: everybody can post here their own JMovies site;
- JMovies FAQ: everybody can read here main faq about the component;
- Customers Support: a restricted access forum section, if you have an active subscription to JMovies you can post here to obtain advanced support from the JOOMItaly staff.

These section will be extended with the release of new extensions or with the addition of new funtionality to the actuals.

The JOOMItaly team is proud to announce the launch of the new brand site joomitaly.com! After some period spent in rebuilding the site and prepare new contents we open today this new site.

The JOOMItaly team has started this new project to realize professional extensions for Joomla!. In the next months we will complete and release new professional and charming extensions, both for free or commerrcial purposes

At the moment we offer these two nice extensions:

VOTItaly - This is a FREE plugin that allow you to definitively replace the Joomla! 1.5 core rating/voting system. It is a native Joomla! 1.5 plugin that permits you to include a nice "star rater" to your site contents, allowing efficient ajax communications and including nice javascript effects. IMPORTANT NOTE TO JMovies.eu USERS: to all the users that at the date of 1th April did have an active subscription, we automatically increment the subscription period of 6 month. For example, if a subscription's user expired the 1th of May we automatically change the expiry date to the 1th of November. This to invite users to excuse us for all problems.
