a good friend of mine has been in need of this site for awhile. we finally sat down and got him branded with business cards and this website for him to begin advertising himself. the best part is, I optimized the site so as he is able to do all the updates himself, and his photos are protected from theft.

Monster cables have been a long time personal favorite when it comes to quality instrument cables. I decided to take a crack at designing a unique package for a basic cable of theirs. The main objective was to portray a style that screamed punk rock and almost literally would make you smack yourself in the face. The outcome is offensive, ill-natured, rude and down right perfect. Enjoy!

Marrow Mouse was spawned from a recent dream of mine. During the dream I was sifting through a pile of old vinyl records, admiring the artwork of covers. There was a rock-a-billy band playing in the store at the time on a small side stage. Their music was faint and indistinguishable. I thumbed across a series of albums in a crate who featured a character named, Marrow Mouse. In my head it made sense to call him the evil twin of infamous Disney character. Looking at it now, I really don’t see any correlation except the word “mouse.” There were several albums with the character featured on it. They all were reminiscent of WWII propaganda posters and media advertising of the era. Marrow Mouse fighting in warfare scenarios.

When I awakened from the dream, I stared at the ceiling admiring the and reminiscing the artwork I had just witnessed. I actually wondered to myself who the artist of the pieces could be. I frantically tried to remember if there was an insignia or signature on any of the pieces but drew a blank. Then it hit me:

I was dreaming you idiot. YOU are the artist that just conjured up the character.

It was all a bit of a surreal moment. None the less, I immediately jumped out of bed and grabbed the nearest piece of paper and pen and began drafting.

Sometimes it’s hard to hold onto your dreams even 2 seconds after you awake. I was lucky enough to hang on to this one. The character still isn’t as eerie as he appeared in my dream. It’s a work in progress.
