The above article, published online on 18 April 2011 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Christian Behl; and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed upon following concerns raised by a third-party regarding image duplication. An investigation confirmed overlaps among the immunohistochemistry micrographs presented in Figures 4A-4D. Each image was intended to represent a different sample and treatment. The authors failed to provide a satisfactory explanation or any supporting data. The editors consider the results and conclusions unreliable. The authors disagree with the retraction.
