Puppy Love Grooming & Boarding

Is hard to find a good grooming center which really know how to cut poodle!

Anyway, so far I only found 1 which able to satisfy me. This shop is at Lorong Macalister. Quite small but full of poodle and the poodle are freely to play with each other! LOL! ^_^

Just the problem that when I first enter the shop, the strong dog smell which somehow distracting me abit. Other than that I'm pretty satisfy with the shop customer service too. The groomer even tie her 2 little ribbons! Yaya looks so lady! hahahah! Full grooming is charging RM60. Quite reasonable price too.

Batu Maung Orphanage & Old Folks Home

My house mate invited me to join their company charity event which is to visit the orphanage nearby Batu Maung, Penang. It was my 1st experience here in Penang visit this pity group. Without hesitating, I agreed to join the group. We pool the money and decided to buy them dry food.

We went to Giant to shop for dry food from the food list we checked out from the Orphanage. About an hour later, everyone headed to the village near the sea. Seriously, I will not know how to go in and got out from there and it is a very quite small village.

It was around 12 noon when we reach there. We sorted all the food out and we visit the orphan room. Meet the poor childrens, room is really small. But heard it fit 30 childrens. Hardly imagine it. Some having down syndrome sickness but all well behave.

When I talked to one of the person in charge, found there's 4 chinese others are all indian abandon child. Age from 2 to 12. Pity to hear that this 4 kids mother were mentally sick and could not take care of the kid and yet the father, is earning very little and he couldn't afford to feed them all! He visited them once every week. My 1st thing came up from my mind is, WTF?! Can't afford then stop F*cking the mental sick wife la! Now all here, and then you are saying nonsense that you can't cope? Really sickening man!

Their kid are all very small. The thing that touched my heart is when I distributed the cracker titbit out for each children, the eldest bro really good in take care of his younger sister. Imagine children are so naive & innocent, they talk & ask what in their mind without second thought! But this bro, really a mature one. I am impressed. When I asked him what color he want (as the packet is having different colors), the brother answered me that he don't want any but to give to his sister. He is the eldest and continue with 2 younger brothers then youngest sister age 2. Each of them having only 1 year old gap. Which mean he is just 5 years old!

Well, I also see how the kid have their childhood there. Not much of freedom like today's spoil kid! They basically sleep anywhere and spent most of their time in the living hall. Well...is really boring! I really wish those over pampered kid or spoil kid can really see how these kid living! Having all those 'Angry Bird' which is unnecessary rubbish or those controller game etc. And also those spoil parent, treasure their only son or daughter... and those infertile women, if they really want kid, why can't they adopt? Is just the matter how you grow them up, I don't see the issue or difference of having a down syndrome kid even is your own birth child?! As a mother or father, even they are sick you will hold strong to let their life continue. So, why not adopt? I just don't understand...

The current info/ references are purely personally opinion. This is commented as per travel month on August, 8 Days 7 Nights to South India which covered Bangalore, Mysore, Hassan, Bellur & Halebid.

Time Zone different: Bangalore is 2 Hours 30 Mins earlier than Malaysia time.

Weather: Surprising is cold weather & strong wind, sometime showering rain. Day time: 25 Celcius, Night time: 19 Celsius.

Comments:

Have flu injection if possible. Prepare some coin or small change for toilet/ shoe counter. You can have free & easy if you are visiting purely Bangalore itself. But best to get a driver or travel agency to arrange transportation if you wanted to visit somewhere out from Bangalore as the journey is quite a distance. Minimum on the road we spent 3 hrs from Bangalore to reach Mysore.

If you planning to engage the India local travel agency, make sure you do some homework after they offer you the places to visit as they might be tricky to skip some of the places.

Mostly market / shop open at 10am close at 9pm. Where else temple open at 1030am & close at 5pm. Since there's too many temple, bare foot is compulsory when enter, therefore, slipper is the best! Some temple collect money for shoe counter.

Water is the concern when visiting India, therefore if u taking other brand water, make sure u boil it before drinking it.

Mysore is best place for shaw, Pashmere, Silk shopping! Cheapest among the other places. You can get good bargain if you buy in bigger quantity. Price range from INR50/ pc – INR2000. Depend what quality you shop for. J

Penang Hill - A date with David Brown's

Been waiting for my Penang hill trip ever since the 1st day I moved to Penang. But it was closed for renovation & upgrade for nearly a year...finally the new services launched! It is also called Bukit Bendera.

Thanks to my friend suggestion that he would like to make a day trip visit to Penang Hill. I'm happy that I finally make it to the top!

We arrived about 1200noon and queued for the ticket. Their ticket rate is RM30 for non-Malaysian Adult & RM8 for Malaysian Adult with proof of Identity Card (I/C). Well…I think this is why is called tourist attraction? I felt so embarrassed to informed my both friend from the States that their price is slightly higher >_<

But there's couple of thing has been bothering me after I testimonial my experience up to the hill. I really hope the developer should improve more on the whole area rather than focusing on the so-called new technology 'High-Tech' Speed Train.

First of all, there is no car park allocated for the visitor. All car came was caught in the bottle neck and found no idea where they should park! Because of this, I saw there’s volunteer marshals are all over the area controlling the traffic under the hot sun! They've done a good work but I think is so-called a 'Lebih' (extra) work! It seems such stupid job!

They should have thought about allocating a good place for visitor to park their car and also for the tour buses. I can imagine that the queue and the jam will be so horrible when it comes to school holiday or peak season! There's no guidance on where to park!

Secondly, the queue to the train was a mess too! Oh, perhaps I should say that is not a queue, is a first come first serve basis? Not at all! People will find space squeeze in the queue and cut the queue when other is queuing! This is really a shame to let the foreigner witness such manner! Is either the work have not completed or somehow it has been forgotten? I personally think this can be improve by designing a queue lane like how people enter the fun park at Genting Highland or perhaps like the cinema?

When I hopped into the train, it seems bigger in size as in wider with air-cond and also offers more seats. The designs seem modern but not user friendly. It does not think neither for the disable nor the children safety.

Third, it will be as quite as dead town when the rain comes. There’s no shaded walk way for the tourist at raining season? Are they going to declare “Business Closed due to Rain?” Damn…wonder how these people minds thinking…

When we reached the top, the view was nice and the weather is chill but, it was hazy with shower rain. We ran to the little hut labeled with “David Brown’s Restaurant” for our lunch reservation made.

Luckily the cottage-feel environment of the restaurant keep us busy photo shooting. The garden view too indulged everyone. The service seems good but allows me to comment some of the minor thing but is good to have it improve. =P

When we asked the captain on the signature dish, he mentioned a few but when we wanted to take one of his recommendation, ended either not available or sold out. Well, I personally think that a captain should aware of what is available and what is not. They shouldn’t tell what is popular but yet is not available! Best advice; make a reservation call for the seat & and also especially the food. Their soup are all home made. Tasted very good with own secret recipe!

David Brown's is having a branch at Cameron Highland. Both concept almost similar, cottage feeling with English tea & scorn.

The mushroom soup was good! Too bad Asparagus soup sold out, will definitely order it on next visit. Roasted Chicken, Roasted Beef, Roasted Lamb & Chicken Puff. All serving are quite big, eventually this food can be share by 2 persons.

James Foo Western Food, Tg. Tokong

Peng, Leng, Jeng Western Food - James Foo?

Well....been hearing this super cheap western cuisine at Tanjung Tokong, a shop opposite the Island Plaza mall on the left junction. Passed by almost everytime when I visit my good sister there. But hardly convince me to walk in as mostly people have to queue and wait for at least 30 mins for table! It is always crowded.

Anyway, we tried once before for the fried western menu but it was horrible! Then we make a deal not to come for second time. But, it happen that one day we, all girls are planning for the 3D W-Cinemax Kung Fu Panda. We wouldn't want to miss the good show, therefore, we went to this shop nearby and giving them a 2nd try as some of my girls didn't try it before =p

Then, we ordered different food. We have lamb, beef, fish & chicken chop. But all in grill or pan fried or baked but not fried! And guess what?! It ended with "Satisfaction"! Everything seem well cook and taste good exclude the lamb as is not so fresh. But the beef is really good! It is also cheap with a reasonable portion!

Amazing Hunt 2011 UNESCO Heritage Penang

A total of 63 teams were participated in Penang UNESCO Heritage Amazing Hunt. It was a good game although the event management wasn't so successful interm of controlling the station to station traffic. Is a bit messy when everyone reaches at the same task station and everyone didn't queue but rush and push to get the Task Master to sign their time slip.

Well, the rules of the game was,

1. Everyone start from the same place and end at the starting point too

2. Everyone will be given a pink envelope, a brown envelope and a white envelope.

a. Pink - location map direction. Map consist ONLY direction Up, Down, Left, Right with Starting point (X) and Ending point (END)

b. Brown - the task & challenge

c. White - Time slip (to pass to next task station)

3. A team of 5 will need to hold their hand upon arrival, report themselves with group name at each stop and pass the time check for the task master and they will sealed it once task completed. Once unsealed will be disqualified. Hold each member hand and leave the stop for next stop.

4. When you find the stop with the logo and 2 purple vest marshals (task master). That will be the right destination. If unfound, return to the starting point and start all over again.

5. Walking and no running.

6. The earliest completed all task will be the top 10 winners.

The game kicks off at 8:45am and ended at 2pm. Basically, this game is more on team work. Very fun IQ game. Will participate more in other similar activities.

Campbell Road Market Task:

All team members must remove scale and intestines of two fishes per team. Show to the satisfaction of the Task Master.

Oops…Followed the wrong direction; see no Task Master….have to walk back to the starting point (Campbell Road Market). Everyone analyzing the map arrow with the Heritage detail map.

Finally found, it was just few street behind the Market.!! Confusing map!

2.Little India Task:

Learn how to tie a saree. Two team members must wear the given sarees and walk as directed by Task Master to her satisfaction.

3.Penang Peranakan Masion Task:

Learn how to dance the joget. All team members wear the given sarong and dance to the satisfaction of the Task Master.

4. Museum Task

Learn how to make a flour figurine. Each team member must make a flour figurine (total 5) to the satisfaction of the Task Master.

5. Egg Green Café Task

All team members wear the apron and cap. Each team must make a set of Mix Fruit Oact & The Tarik Breakfast. Boil the oat in the bowl. Cut the fruits and pour into bowl. Mix the 3-in-1 The Tarik with hot water and draw the tea until foaming. Pour into a glass. Show both to the Task Master. Eat & drink the breakfast till bowl & glass are empty.

6. Chew Jetty

Task master will bring Team Lead to the Chew Jetty history site board. Team lead will need to get 1 member to memorize the history of Chew Jetty and say it out to Task Master in completed word.

7. George Town World Heritage Task.

A list of question related with the Penang UNESCO Heritage. Find all questions from the surrounding and pass to the Task Master.

a. What is the address of Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s Penang Base?

b. What year was the Syed Al-Attas Mansion built?

c. What year was the Syed Al-Attas Mansion rebuilt?

d. What year was the mosque containing the Wakaf Tunku Syed Hussein Idid built?

e. The Penang Youth Center was built by which organization?

8. Komtar Task

Take a photo which shows all five team members with His Honorable Mr. Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang. Show to Task Master.

9. Penang Ferry Terminal Task:

Take a ferry to Butterworth. Go to the Train Station. Take a photo containing all 5 team members with a train in the background. Return to Penang and show to Task Master.

10. Esplanade

All team members take a role and do the Lion Dance to the Task Master.

Hock Chuan Heong Restaurant

Finally I found some ‘zhu cha’ (in hokkien mean Cook & Fried) which is quite suit my appetite. The authentic Hokkien - Teow Chew dishes in Penang. FYI, the choices are limited and they normally find u seat instead you get your own seat. Mostly are the elderly workings in this old shop. But the foods there are nice.

We ordered a few signature dishes but due to headcount constraint, there’s still some other dishes that I not able to try. Such as the fish and also the fried oyster Perhaps next visit. =p

The best food I like is the fried Tanghoon.

Fried Tang hoon - is quite a common fried glass noodle but I love it!

Oyster yellow noodle are one of their signature dish but, I don't quite like the taste of the yellow noodle.

Hei Kean - Deep Fried Prawn, very fresh & big prawn! Love it!

Bak Kee Soup - Fried blended pork coated with tapioca flour. Very 'Q' when u chew on it.

It was my 2nd visit tasting this Italian food. I find the chef are really good and the food served are superb too! Basically all food are nice. But for me, I personally found that there's few signature dish.

It was highlighted with **MUST TRY**. So you can try to order when your next visit.

The mushroom soup are nice tho but is seasonal. If is available, make sure you better order it. =p The price are reasonable too!

Chap Goh Meh 2011 元宵节 Esplanade, Penang

This is my first year and first time attending the celebration of the Chinese Valentine's Day at Penang. In general term, it also called - Chap Goh Meh (元宵节). This celebration only held on the Day 15 of the Chinese calendar. Which also mean, the very last day of Chinese New Year.

The advertisement looks good but upon arrived it somehow disappointed me. Below shows the link on the advertisement from vitsitpenang official website. It also list the programme of the day.

But this is different as what is organized yearly by Cheng Pai (城派) back in KL. At least they are organized and fun! The female throw the mandarin orange and the male collect. There's also one year I attended guy holding a banana with their name & contact number on it and pass to any single available girl! (but shy guy will always lose the game as this require the so-call "GUT") LOL!

But in Penang, I feel like throw the penny in the will. Those kind like, make a wish then throw. There will be a boat collect all the mandarin orange up but there's no differenciate whether the "orange" is Female or Male. It all mix up. And worse thing is, is just throw for fun. No other special thing like guy will collect the Female thrown oranges. So single will still end up single! HaHaHa!

The booth here are limited, mostly on the "One Malaysia" concept and not Chap Goh Meh feeling. Basically there's booth for Digi, Astro and SPR vote counter. The rest are hawker food such as Wantan Mee, Pasembur, Cucuk Udang, Nasi Lemak, Fried Oyster, Fried Kuey Teow, Curry Laksa, Asam Laksa, Bubble Tea Shake and Ice Kacang. My comment is, the local will not taste it only for visitor as guinea pig :p

Red FM Love Classified Private Party 2011

It's my pleasure to become a guest on the Love Classified Private Party having first time at Hardrock Hotel, Penang. We registered our name and was given a yellow sticker for Women, white for the Men.

Event suppose to start at 7pm with FREE buffet served by Hardrock Cafe then Party begin! But it seem that nobody initiate to start the food. Therefore, the dinner delayed till 730pm. I can see there's quite a numbers of guest or the radio station winners attending this party! It was obvious from the Q! =p

The event kick off with the live band. Then the DJ continue to do their work by introducing the game of the night! Called - "Yes, No, Maybe". The rules of the game is when someone approaching you by asking you any question and then if you answer any of the keyword, then your name tag will be taken. The person who won the most sticker on his/ her body will be entitled for the Sea View Hardrock hotel Room stay + meal voucher! This is so exciting! But everyone turn smart and started to protect their name. But anyhow, we met a sporty team, and make it for no 2! Chocolate hamper of Jessie Chantelle (1)

Then they introduced another Questionaire game - Bingo, a set for Women and another set for the Men. As long you able to find the 5 different names on a line then the first winner will be also winning the Hardrock Hotel room! Is a tricky game though :p We won another Chocolate hamper - Jessie Chantelle (2).

The live band was good, but it seem some of the people prefer to sit and watch the show rather than doing the ice-breaking as the intention of this event was called the Love Classified, where the Single's meet each others?

In the end of the event, there's some feedback collected and I think the Red FM event planner could be better on their next year Love Classified.

The "Not So Great About" are ...
1. No goodies bag for each guest (Either by Red FM/ Hardrock)
2. Food are served slow and lefted cold and not so fresh to dine
3. No ice-breaking session but to let the individual to "help themselves"
4. The photographer was abit passive in taking individual / the guest photos except the big group where DJ stand
5. The sticker for each guest was abit "Cincai" sound very simply

While the "Good to Have" are ...
1. After pool party, and get wet the management are really cool to gives us the towel as it was already 930pm at night!
2. The Hardrock hotel sponsor for the hotel stay and the meal voucher
3. The free food
4. The DJ was good and funny
5. The live band singers are good
6. The Red FM committee are super friendly and nice

Lousy service Pet Shop

T&T Pets, Penang. Bayan Lepas

This is a new grooming & pet seller shop. The owner seem to be not so friendly and abit proud face. Well, is ok but he will let me feel that he will very proud of whatever thing he had in the shop.

Starting when they open the shop, they charge RM15 for all types of grooming. But this promotion ended after almost a month. I sent my pet there for the promo for full groom with photo sample showing on how to cut. (jus in case) Result still satisfied, as the owner claim hired only "international groomer" as their professional groomer - the Philipino.

In addition, the 2 young girls, dunno is their daughter or partimer...walaoyeh! Service like never train and also don't know the pet also dunno the grooming term! Speechless..

I return to the shop to groom my pet on the second time. When I check on the price list. They have adjust the list but then the charging is super odd! Makes me think this pet shop totally newbie and didn't have enough study before open the shop!

So, I decided to sent her for basic grooming. The young girl ask to pay first. OK. This is weird. Like worry customer run away. I think maybe either they experience b4 customer unsatisfaction or something else. Well, I paid.

2 hrs later, they called. I return and surprisingly I see my dog poodle beary face gone! I stoned a while then ask the young girl:" I thought is basic groom why cut her face till like this?" She answered: "face ma. Included in basic ma." At that moment, I really speechless. The boss was there too, but no say thank you or come over and explain or services. KNS!
Somemore oledy paid, so I can't complain for free cut lo? Even if they wrongly cut?
I've been trying so hard to keep her beary face, and basic grooming why cut her face oso?! Fainted...

And I think they hurt my little dog ear..one side got produce some liquid form & my dog feel pain when I touch her 1 side ear. KNS!

I think is either I stop going to tis pet shop or educate the owner how to provide good services. In addition, understand different breed before simply cut! He own few pugs which is short in fur. I think that's why he don't know poodle! Since his pug also no hair for him to trim. Aih...I really hopeless to this pet shop.

Taipei Itenary 6D5N ~ Winter Season Jan 2011

The weather at Taipei on this 2011 year winter season was unexpected cold and wet. It's almost rain for whole week in straight when we arrived. Average temperature is 8 to 11 Celsius. Makes most of the plan delay and have to call off due to weather. I will put our initial plan itenary for your references (if you need it). FYI, itenary only covers Taipei not other Taiwan region. Hope is useful to anyone who plan for Free & Easy trip.

We took the morning flight 9:50am from LCCT to Taipei Tao Yuan International Airport. I would encourage traveller to have pre-book meal as it is cheaper in addition, they come with complimentary drink. We arrived around 2:40pm. Since we already made online booking on the Taipei Homestay. They provides service for pickup from airport to homestay but we need to pay NTD1000 cos is third party business.

Itenary shown as below, the shop mostly start business 11am and if bad weather some shop will close. But for night market, of cos it will follow night market business hour until 10pm. Certain places will be extend till midnight.

Preface - TAIPEI 2011 Winter Trip

Been hoping and waiting for this coming trip since year 2010. Although miss the 1st flight on year 2010 but luckily timing good. God is good to me too. Luckily I did not fly on year 2010, sure bad luck till kanasai! Pui! Pui! Pui! Air Asia came out another promotion, and my 'ji mui' able to plan for our Jan 2011 trip! We managed to book it with RM662/ head with return meal inclusive and also luggage check-in! Yippee!

Finally I make it to Taipei! Unfortunately, it was not so perfect...cos Princ3ssAngi3 was so blur until forgot to bring her camera memory card and left it @ home. And miss all pretty photo - especially the food!!!

She also sick during her travel. Somemore weather there was cold, windy & raining. Will definitely re-visit Taiwan!

Photo still under processing. Luckily there's a photographer friend join the trip! Hahaha! So, we still have many photo to see! =P

Stay tune! Photo will be coming out soon pretty soon.

But overall this 6 days 5 night stay and self plan itenary was pretty satisfied. If not due to weather issue, we would have make it even more places to go and more thing to do!

Outdoor Camping @ Taman Negara

I was invited to join a group of family to their outdoor camping. This time, they decided to re-visit the National Park. I been hearing the name but didn't know there's a national park at Penang too! What a surprise for me. I miss the old days when I quite active in camping but been stopping a while after the hectic life. But I'm glad that I meet this new group who enjoy camping so much just like me! =)

Before departed, we had our breakfast at the very famous hawker stall at Pulau Tikus. We make quite a few of food, including the special and famous Pan Cake! But too bad, I miss it! Everyone was so full and we cancel the pancake.

We arrived at the National Park, it was at Teluk Bahang also call as "The end of the world" then we proceed for registration. Everyone compulsory to register before entering the reserved forest

Along the way to the destination, saw a few animal-like rock. It is really beautiful. It took us about 40 mins to reach as the wave was so big until splash us wet >_<

We setup the tent 1 by 1. The senior observed the area then they found the hotspot! Our territory! The tent range from Execute to standard room type! Hahaha!

We next proceed for our lunch cooking session :P kekeke! Though it will be a good day for us, who know...rain coming on and off. We have to move our cooking area to the leaking roof hut. =S

Imagine everyone having lunch around 1+pm >_< so hungry ...somemore use such small cute stove to cook everything! walaoyeh...>_<

Luckily all quite instant =p kekeke

After meal, we sit, some are standing. rest while waiting for the heavy rain stop. Cos we cook at opposite of our tent area.

Around 4+pm we start our hiking and waterfall bath :P Signboard are everywhere, so noneed worry get lost. Hahaha!

The water was not so high as expected, shallow until only able to cover our leg unless we sit down. :p

We spent about 1 hr then we move on for the canopy walk.

I am impressed when I saw the view right in front of this bridge. The rocks and the big wave splashing plus the wind blowing and kissing my face...wow!

Then make me make up my mind to be super model! 1, 2,3 ! Snap! Snap! Snap! Pose! Pose! Pose! :p kekeke!

We spent almost 1.5 hrs shooting and bathing. Then we walk back to our tent to start prepare our dinner - BBQ!!! Yes! Who knows....ended...

the butter and honey got stolen!! KNS >_< The monkeys mess the whole pale even we hide and stack nicely..walaoyeh!

So, we postpone our BBQ and have the curry meal (offered by the rangers as they have alot of left over food after the team building groups)

When the night started to turn darker..the whole area was so dark and quite. Can hear people snoring loud as other than us, there's also another 10 tents + 2 expats + 2 fishing groups sleeping at the same area.

We went for a walk at the port, while sitting and enjoying our beer and jolly shandy, saw the fishing groups were there doing their night fishing but it was so dark. Can't really see clearly on the fish.

At first thought can see night view or starry night but too bad, it's cloudy as the whole afternoon till evening, it keeps raining on & off.

I look into the sea, and the scene directly capture into my mind. I will never forget it! I can see diamond blinking in the sea! It was everywhere, and when the fish jump over the water, it glow! It was so amazing! I wanted to take the photo but unfortunately it doesn't work. Only able to show a piece of darkness at the sea.

It was chill and windy...we walk back and start our BBQ supper around 10pm.

Next day morning, woke up at 730am then made sandwiches breakfast for the fellow friends. Around 9am, we went for sea swimming. The water temperature was just nice to swim and soak :p

feel like taking a nap on this tube, but worry later dunno where the wave bring me to >_<

this is the place where you can see the night diamond and also where we swim.

Happy moment always short. We 'checkout' and dissemble all the tent and bye bye to Pantai Kerachut. But we promise will re-visit and next round, we are heading to monkey beach! ^_^

International Beauty Expo, PISA

IBE came to Penang and is FREE admission. After walked in found out eventually not many booth opening. Not much choices as in the beauty Expo held back at KL. I wonder why? hmm...perhaps is the population?

Told my sis about the coming of this event from the famous TV show 女人我最大 from Taiwan and their products in their magazine. So, my sis ask me to shop for some of 'her list'.

The famous BB Cream, Skinz79 is quite cheap, having promo - for dry skin RM88 buy 2 free 1 while for normal skin RM79 buy 2 free 1 too. Another products - Naruko are also good bargain! RM118 for 3 for all night cream combination.

I bought the Naruko night cream but not the BB cream, also with others makeup thing.

Housemate Farewell Dinner

Didn't know there's such a good hang out place at Tanjung Bungah. Is a mamak, the environment made me feel somewhere like the Tree Restaurant at Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. But this have it's own specialty as it is an Indian cuisine!

This place is right opposite of Flamingo Hotel, Penang. Name - Sri Ananda Bahwan Restaurant.

We ordered plenty of special food.

Rava Dosai - carrot chopped in small pieces + super thin crust

Roti Naan

This is the best! Goat cheese with spinach! Is creamy! Yummy!

The Ghee Rice, smell good but bit oily..cant take much =p

Nov Family Day ^_^

It was a surprised that my siblings and mum are coming to pay me a visit. But due to Penang Bridge Marathon, many hotel has been fully book! Too bad is short visit just ended 2 days 1 night @ Copthorne Hotel, Penang and next 1 night staying at the Executive suites at Tower Regency Hotel, Ipoh.

Never know the view behind Copthorne was nice! Even can see 1 real nice Bungalow build just right in front of the sea! Wow!

We have tried out new food somewhere near Perak Road, found this dim sum was nice especially the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun (my fav) =P. I will re-visit this place as their food is nice.

The next day, I joined them to Ipoh stay as they plan to go Sungkai Hot Spring. Too bad I can't join, due to critical support work on Sunday =p That Saturday night was super pack, tried few hotel but ended fully book! Then, is raining drizzling, my sister in law decided to go for last hotel and finally he book the Executive room - RM800 per night! Walaoyeh! @_@ But after check-in, quite like the unit. Kekeke! Hope my house can have such space too! =p

EMS extension good or bad?

I bought one EMS extension from Giant Hypermarket couple months away due to my room only got 1 power port. I need to add extension because got my room installed with 1 power host aircond. I have no choice, when I asked the technician to help me open another power port, he said no need.

Besides aircond, I also using the port for my laptop, charger and etc small electric appliances. It been using quite a few months. It happened there's one time the air-cond auto off while I also sharing the power with my handphone charger. Therefore, I unplug the handphone charger and it's working back.

Then few days back, I smell something burnt but can't found where since everything plug are working ok! Until yesterday night, I came back just to turn on my air-cond without any other electrical appliances. Then, pop! spark and flame! I saw the power extension burnt. So scary! It just under my wooden table. =S

Then, air-cond automatically off. So, I removed the power extension with some dry cloth just incase I got power shock. Then turn off the main switch. I plug the air-cond directly back to the main port. Phew! Luckily it's still functioning.

Next day, I back to Giant bought another different brand, design just like IKEA but is called UMS with 3 portable switched. Hopefully this will last more longer =S

Penang Outing Day Part 1

Next day, I make a almost full plan day for my very special guest =p

We go for the famous breakfast near Bayan Lepas, called Joo Leong Cafe. Is my 1st time too! =p Eventually, what I heard from my local colleague, this shop actually are famous for the ala-carte dinner and not the breakfast but somehow, they open morning for breakfast too. I think is common lo, got income who don't want wo =p

So, we tried to order all the food available for breakfast, the nasi lemak both tuna fish & the ikan bilis, the half-boil egg and toast bread! Can see many visitor came here for their breakfast! Luckily they serve pretty fast.

Overall, I like the half boil egg & especially the toast bread! The nasi lemak is just common and not spicy. Not much special.

After that, we moved on to the snake temple, which is just right opposite the road of this breakfast shop. I take the opportunity to have some photo shooting session with my Lumix FZ-28 =p

There's flea-market on the Saturday. Not sure what time, think should be in the morning. But we tea around 3+pm, many of the stall closing and packing. Then saw 1 shop displaying twin Pomeranian puppy and also white poodle with pampers! Haha!

They also selling some toys and remote gadget. They place the 2 puppy on the remote car, pity the dogs. So scare and can see they shaking. =_='''

Is quite fun staying here as all those missing friend which sometime hardly meet at KL, will think of me when they stop by =p

I'm happy to have guest and bring them out for FOOD!!! hahaha!

We went for dinner at Teluk Bahang, also used to call "The end of the world"! Quite a sad name :P Eventually is somewhere near the Kg. Nelayan. They have few seafood restaurant but this time we tried, The Fishing Village Seafood. The seafood dinner there is super cheap! But ofcos, typical seafood restaurant. Chef is cook in cooking but not dressing it =p

We ordered Seaweed clear soup, Fried Glass noodle, Oat fried Mantis, Fried Squid and Salty egg crab. Out of so many, the best is only the Seaweed soup, Salty Egg Crab & the Glass Noodle. Don't recommend to get the others 2. Perhaps should steam fish?!

I think they don't really know the recipe of cooking the Oat mantis, they add the egg but ...really a failure. The mantis also became over dried with too much flour.

Then next, their so-called chef recommended dish - Fried Squid. =_='''

this crab is fresh & delicious, the big cheliped (claw) is really big & content.

Guess what, total bill only cost RM65+ with 2 bottles of Heineken! Therefore, I have made a conclusion, don't order fried dishes, but other cooking type, no harm trying =P

Kelantan Trip - Day 3 Part I

We gonna leave and back to Penang. Therefore, we wokeup early at 8am and go for photo hunt. Wouldn't want to miss out the very last day. =P

Along the way, I saw another special thing on the road side. Guess what, is a big 'Wau' (Kite in Malay). Too bad that not able to go for the making of Wau workshop. Should explore how it produce. Perhaps re-visit next year. =P

Then we continue and arrived at the Kelantan biggest historical mosque, Independence Field, The Grand Palace, Craft Village, Bank Pitis and Jahar Palace.

All this historical places have an explanation stone. Is really working and can remember/ memorize easily on all the history. I think the education party should have such thought or plan to bring the student all over the historical places and let them have a look on the real places and understand how the history will play back. I think it would be much more effective in memorizing those boring think History text book. I confess that I almost fail my History during my Secondary school exam. Cos...it is indeed very boring and looking at the color picture text doesn't really helping me in motivating or triggering my memory! =p

The wave was horrible! So high as is monsoon season, but the kid still daring standing infront of the sea. Freak me out! =S as the water is in yellowish and not clear. According to my friend normally is clear water for this beach for the off monsoon season.

The cloud just nice with the tall coconut tree. This place look just like the 'Woo-Hoo' Malaysian made Chinese movie.
