I loved Emily and Cole and their amazing energy from our very first meeting. These two have an incredible love of fitness, food, wine and each other. Even their very first date started with an early morning run. But it was the champagne brunch to follow that truly swept Emily off her feet! Given their love for good food, it seemed only fitting these two would dream up a beautiful vineyard ceremony followed by the most extravagant dinner party they could imagine for their wedding. I have to say, I think they NAILED IT! Surrounded by the breathtaking views of Chalk Hill and the love of their most treasured friends and family – each moment left me saying, “Awwwww”. Congratulations Emily and Cole, your day was a real life fairy tale! xox

Gabi is a free-spirited, beautiful soul and fellow ‘girl with a camera’ friend that I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. She and Eric are the kind of couple who’s affection for one another is almost contagious! Their warmth and devotion spills over into their love for their families too! That’s why it was important for them to include touches of both of their cultures into their wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Malibu. They included inspiration and traditions from Morocco, Israel and Persia in the form of giant rugs that blanketed their runway, brightly colored floral arrangements and rustic table settings of lace and fresh rosemary. I could not have been more honored to photograph this beautiful gathering of friends and family as they danced the night away, in celebration of the sweetest couple: Gabi and Eric! Congratulations on your beautiful day, may you share a million more! xox

I’ve adored Katie Sperry since the very first time we met through her sister at her brother’s wedding and then again at her sister’s wedding. You see, the Sperry Sisters (there’s 4 of them) are known for planning weddings that are spilling over with style, panache, and sparkle. They are part of the wedding planner dream team at Christie Rose Events. So you can imagine my excitement when they called on me to photograph one of their own in the magical destination that is Maui! There’s no doubt that Katie and Aaron chose the perfect venue for their big day at Merriman’s Kapalua, with it’s overgrown banyan trees and unspoiled ocean views . And of course the whole Sperry family was in attendance, which makes me happy. I never get tired of watching Mr. Sperry overflow with emotion with each daughter-turned-bride that he gives away. It was an absurdly sweet occasion, congratulations you two! xox

What an incredible weekend this was!!! Vidhi & Shreyas had their Hindu ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center followed by a reception at the Music City Hall of Fame. Happy New Year sweet friends!!! It’s been WAY too long since I have been on here to update all that has been going on. With every year that passes, I am reminded how fortunate we are to have these memories with the people we love. I have had a year full of such beautiful weddings with some really special people. Instead of apologizing for my lack of blogging, I’m just going to keep it moving and get right into a few sneaks (and hopefully entire weddings) that I have so desperately wanted to share. First up, a sneak from Jessica & Andy’s destination wedding at the gorgeous Cabo Azul Resort. I love these two and have known Jessica’s family since she was a teenager.
