Co-founder, Steven Llorens was skiing out of bounds at Lake Tahoe when both his bindings released and he was hurling down the mountain, between trees and rocks, in his ski boots. As a result of the injuries sustained from this fall he developed Plantar Fasciitis in his left foot which resulted in pain and swelling in the heel and arch area on the bottom of his foot.
He was advised by doctors to use orthotic insoles as part of his treatment plan to relieve pressure on his aching feet. But even with insoles, the pain persisted, especially when walking barefoot. Further, none of the orthotics he found could be worn with flip-flops, sandals or slippers.

My Thoughts:
I am always walking around barefoot when I am at home, even outside, although I know I shouldn't. Because of this my feet usually need a lot of extra care. I'd love to get pedicures all the time but they cost way too much for me to get them on a regular basis.

I got to review STRUTZ Sole Angel Socks and Soothing Foot Cream. I was a little confused on the socks at first but now I can see why they are made the way they are. They let your foot breathe while still moisturizing. They are very stretchy, my husband and I were both able to wear them. On the inside of the sock, near the heel, there is a rubber like lining. Which is what makes the socks special. The lining helps any foot cream you are using soak in and the socks stay cleaner.

Both products especially used together were great on my feet. They were very soft with out any heel "filing" after each use. I have only been using them for about 30 minutes at a time but I think I might start sleeping in them and see how much of affect that has.

My Thoughts:

I have always had a awful time falling asleep. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to an hour. The problem is my mind won't turn off, I think about everything while I am in bed. From thinking about I am I am doing the next day to worrying about bills and such.

I have always LOVED the sound of rain and thunder. My husband would always laugh at me when it would be raining at night because I would fall asleep within 30 seconds on those nights. So I was very excited when I received the Sound of Sleep systembecause one of the options was rainfall. I used it the first night and fell asleep within a few minutes.

There are a total of 10 sounds to choose from; waterfall, fireplace, ocean, meadow, train, city, rainfall, brook, mediation, and white noise. My favorites, besides rainfall, were ocean and meadow.

One of my favorite features was the Adaptive Sound feature. It's a button that you can turn off and on which automatically adapts to your environment. So the louder the background noise is the louder the sound machine will get to compensate. Also the timer feature is great so it doesn't have to be on all night. One downside I felt was the machine is a little on the big side so I have to put it under my nightstand but, I think the size is necessary for the sound quality.

I have been very happy with this machine and I am waking up much more rested.

My Thoughts:
You might have seen my other reviews for the Costume Discounters family, which have a few websites. This time around I reviewed the Grease Pink Ladies Rizzo Costume. I picked it because I loved the look of the dress and I've always wanted a pick ladies jacket.

The dress was comfortable and fit great. the way it was made it would fit a lot of different body shapes. The jacket was very cute but I do wish it would have been a little better quality because the collar didn't sit right.

My Thoughts:
My husband being the electronic crazy man he is of course HAD to have the new 3DS. Me being the blonde that I am thought you had to have 3D glasses to use it... Well imagine the look on his face when I asked "Where are the glasses?". It's those moments where he just stares at me and shakes his head in silence.

Super Monkey Ball 3D was the first game we got to play with the 3DS. It wasn't very had to get used to the controls because we had the last Monkey Ball games on the regular DS.

What a fun game! The colors and graphics are great. I loved all the levels. A must have game if you have the 3DS!

Review - Shari's Berries

Surprise someone special with these incredible, mouthwatering creations!

My Thoughts:

I picked the Butterscotch Espresso Cake to review. A light, buttery three-layer yellow genoise cake, moistened with a hint of rum, has two luscious fillings – an intensive espresso layer and a delicious butterscotch cream. A butterscotch glaze adorns the top and is decorated with a chocolate spray embellished with tiny chocolate and butterscotch chips.

The cake tasted wonderful and was very easy to serve. I just put it in the freezer until we were ready to serve it. I took it out a few hours before and it was perfect. The taste was great, very light but rich at the same time. Everyone enjoyed it. The only thing was it wasn't very large, enough for about 4 people.

They carry so many different things, like Strawberries Covered in Chocolate. Great to send to anyone for any occasion.

My Thoughts:
I have been trying to eat a lot healthier in the past year so I love when I get the opportunity to review items that help me do just that.

Glenny's sent me a large sample pack to try of a bunch of their products. Here are an over view of some of them:

100 Calorie Brownie Bar - These are WONDERFUL! They are great for a dessert craving. I have had other diet brownie products before and didn't even want to finish them because of the taste. These taste just like the real thing if not better. I have them heated up a little in the microwave.

Fruit & Nut Bars - I wasn't a huge fan of these because I have never liked fruit and nut mixed bars but my husband loves them. He will eat one for breakfast every morning now. They are great when you are out of time to eat and need something fast.

Gluten Free Cookies -I know in the past year or so gluten free products have become very popular. I couldn't really get on the band wagon until a I started trying some products. I have to say I love these cookies! The oatmeal with chocolate chips is my favorite. They are so soft and moist. Plus only 55 calories a cookie!

Soy Crisps & Chips - These were another one of my favorites. They have tons of flavors and most of the bags only have about 100 calories. I didn't get to try the fries but I would love to!

My Thoughts:
I have reviewed a few of these shapewear body suits in the past but this is diffidently my favorite.

I picked the BIANCA BODY SUIT Medium Control to review. It was the easiest shapewear that I have tried to get on, only took a few minutes. Plus it stayed put all day without a lot of tugging and pulling. This one also made it very easy when I had to go to the little girls room, as others have made it quite an ordeal.

It fit perfectly right under my bra and even gave a little boost in that department, which never hurts :)

The best part of course is I felt a lot better in my clothes and thought I looked slimmer.

They have tons of styles to choose from, depending on what area of your body you would like to slim down.

In October 2007, I received the phone call from my mother that she had been diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
I was shocked, scared and panicked. The hardest part about hearing the news, was that she lived in New Brunswick Canada and I lived in Florida. More difficult still, I had just returned the day before from a trip visiting her. With two young children in school, I couldn't just turn around and go back.
I was so upset and felt helpless being so far away. I needed to "Do Something". I looked into sending flowers or fruit, but nothing seemed appropriate. I wanted to show her how much I cared, and in some way comfort her.
I immediately thought of Chicken soup - it's what she (like many mothers) used to make to comfort me. And the idea for Spoonful of Comfort was born.
Just six weeks later, I lost my mother.
During her final weeks she got lots of soup and other comforts from many of her 11 siblings and close friends. She never had the opportunity to try my soup.

However, in her honor, it is my goal to help others with sick loved ones. My Thoughts:
Provide Commerce has quite a wide range of stores to choose from. They are the parent company to, Proflowers, Redenvelope, & Cherry moon Farms just to name a few.

I picked the Snack Attack gift basket to review. It came very quick and it very cute packaging. The basket came in a nice bow. The basket was load full of snacks!

The McKee story began during the height of the Great Depression when young entrepreneur O.D. McKee began selling 5 cent snack cakes from the back of his car. He was just out of college and newly married, and he was eager to get into the baking business. Soon after, he and his wife, Ruth, bought a small, failing bakery, using the family car as collateral. Money was so tight they had to put up a sheet near the back of the bakery for the family's living quarters.

Despite years of great adversity, O.D. and Ruth's rare determination finally began to pay off in 1960 when they began selling the first family pack of baked goods, naming them after their granddaughter, Debbie. Around this time, the company finally began making a steady profit.

The bakery continued to grow but remained a family bakery. O.D. and Ruth’s sons, Ellsworth and Jack, eventually took leadership positions, and today Ellsworth and Jack's children hold leadership roles. They are beginning to introduce the 4th generation of the McKee family to the business.

McKee Foods stands as a living legacy of a young couple with a big dream. O.D. and Ruth shared a strong commitment to family values that remains our company's foundation today.

My Thoughts:
There was no way I could say no to the offer of receiving a case of Little Debbie Cloud Cakes! I was a little overwhelmed at first with so many boxes but safe to say my parents, in-laws, and co-workers couldn't be happier.

They are so moist and fluffy. They are great on the go because they are individually wrapped. I also made them as a dessert one night with some strawberries, it was great. I still had a lot left over and I read somewhere that you can freeze them, so I put about 12 of them in the freezer. They taste GREAT out of the freezer! Still soft enough to eat. These were a great treat for the whole family.

My Thoughts:
I have tried a few Mederma products in the past so I was excited to try more. This time I was asked to try the new Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy.

I had to wait a while to post this review since you normally see results in 4 -12 weeks. I wanted to wait the 12 weeks to give a full result review.

I got stretch marks on my inner thighs a few years back and also my on breasts about a year ago. The ones on my breasts were the ones that really took me back. Well I can truefully tell you I have noticed a huge difference. The stretch marks on my breasts were the first to fade. After the 12 weeks I can't see them at all now, I think they faded first because they were newer. The ones on my thighs are barely noticeable now

It is very easy to apply, just like a cream. I have been putting it on after I take a shower in the morning and at night before I get into bed.

I love when I get to review products like this that really are a life saver and boost your self confidence.

I think one of the most exciting baking shows on television is "Emeril Live." This show is hilarious and is hosted by Emeril. Emeril is one heck of a guy. This guy has a personality that is larger than life and is always trying to do anything to impress an audience. I love seeing all of the new sorts of recipes he comes up with on this show and bakes. He is such a talented chef and is so kind to share his talents with audiences.

His show is so much fun to watch on my Satalite TV. I love to see Emeril interact with his audience on this show. That is probably one of the best parts of this show. Emeril has such an intimate connection with audiences on this show, and he is always trying to bond with them. I have never seen a host so attached to his audience before. It seems like Emeril truly wants to be friends with his audience. His audience loves him too, and they are always cheering him on.

I love all the different types of foods Emeril bakes on this show. He cooks everything from Polish food to Italian food on this show. I love that he puts his own twist on even very traditional recipes. He always seems to take it up a notch and figures out ways to make awesome dishes!

My Thoughts:
I had tried some other "add water" refillable cleaning brands before but the downside to those was the refills were more expensive then normal cleaners. These refills are so reasonably priced at just $4.79 for a 2 pack!

They carry 4 different cleaners:

When I received them I was a little confused on the process of getting the refill in the bottle, others you just mix together. With the JAWS cleaners you insert the refill at the top of the bottle and then just screw the top back on and shake! That's i, no need to even remove the refill until the bottle is empty.

The Degreaser cleaner was my favorite. So great to the kitchen and stove. All 4 were great. I love trying (and loving) eco-friendly products.
