Wordpress SEO Theme

I have been a busy little bee the past few days trying to get our Wordpress SEO Theme posted online so I could share it with others. I figured the easiest way to do it was open up a mailing list at Aweber and sending it out to people as they join, that way it is sent straight to their email.

Affiliate Marketing Companies

I do a lot of work with Affiliate Marketing Companies so I was not surprised when I received a question about how to choose an honest company to affiliate for. There are hundreds of different affiliate marketing companies to choose from and you can sell a variety items.

Unlike "real world selling" with affiliate marketing, you do not have to keep any inventory in stock. The product is in fact ordered directly from the merchant's site so you do not have to pay for anything. All you do is receive your commission cheques. lol Ok, so add in a whole lot of effort and that's about right.

When I look for a product to promote, I always check their affiliate resources. I do not want to have to promote an item that does not have a nice sales page, that does not have professionally made banners and graphics for marketing efforts.

Converting Traffic

Recently on Twitter I was asked about Converting Traffic. Not just converting traffic, but what to do if your site is not selling your products like you think it should be. Or maybe you are having troubles getting people to sign up to your opt in list. There could many different reasons for converting traffic, but we all want the same thing RESULTS.

In my newest squidoo lens I discuss a few different ways to optimize your site to make sure you are capturing all your leads. It could be just changing the opt in form from the top right corner to the mid left side of your web page, but there are ways to test this and monitor it.

Want to learn exactly what is affiliate marketing? I have been emailed many times in the past few months with that exact question... What is affiliate marketing?

I decided to create a Squidoo Lens dedicated to it. The wonderful thing about posting on Squidoo is that it gets indexed very quickly with a huge PR boost. Plus by blogging about it on sites like my personal blog here, it gives it even more of a boost.

Dale and I are in the middle of creating our main website to help Affiliate Marketers both new and experienced marketers. So until that site is up, I'm going to continue to keep building my Squidoo profile with SEO perfected articles with keyword density that insures I receive many keyword targeted site visitors to the lenses.

Hey Folks,

It is official that this blog needs a giant revamp. I have quit almost everything on this site and now just do my affiliate marketing. But I know I can still keep this blog so I will just abuse it when I have an extra minute to post or when I need a backlink for a site. I mean, why not? I have had this blog for a year and a half now so it has some great history and stuff gets indexed quickly.

Anyway, a place that I always need backlinks for my sites is on Squidoo. I recently created one about the Wealthy Affiliate Discount that needs indexed ($10 off your membership if you are wondering). Also, I have my new pride and joy. In fact, this jpetals Squidoo lens is likely the place I spend the most time online updating. I have included everything that has helped make me successful for free. Anyway, I really dig it. lol

Don't sell yourself short

Too many times I'm asked how you know which program you will make money with or which site to join. Now isn't that a loaded question when I am trying to promote programs? LOL But this is my suggestion...

- Look for proof of payment and make sure it is something legitimate. Proof of payments can be photo-shopped and cropped to allow the person to be "paid" a heck of a lot more than anyone else would ever earn.

- Use commons sense. If someone is using a PTC or paid to click site and are making hundreds each month then there are three reasons for this. 1. They have been doing it a long time. 2. They bought their referrals. 3. They are lying.

- Ask a reliable source. Many times people are recruiting you for their program and should be willing to share info on the program and share some tips. If you know them from a social site, you will know their history.

- Use common sense. Wait... there's an echo in here. LOL I just really want to stress that if something promises the moon, you will likely only receive some dirt.

I have really cleaned up my blog for readers because I want people to truly know what will pay them. Almost every blog I come to has a giant list of sites that people are hoping to be paid by, but very few will actually ever reach payment and this only makes the person recommending them look like they are not educated on their own programs.

Today is the day I hop off the lazy blogging horse and get started on sprucing this place up a bit. At the moment I'm writing this post, I have not updated my earnings, but I will work on it and have it up likely by the time you are reading this. I'm thinking I'd be close to the $3000 mark, but we'll soon see.

I've been developing a few new sites and am pleased to say that after one day the first site received 100 hits.

This is the new mailing list I've created with my partner. It's full of tips for getting you traffic to your websites.

Yes, I have been. I have not been spending anytime on here because of the evil google doers. Blah! Maybe I should just get over it and keep on posting. I have been spending my time still surfing on Traffic Era a bit, but mostly doing Wealthy Affiliate and making commission on various products.

In my opinion, this is much easier than finding referrals. I suppose to, that this contributes to my lack of posts. Most of the traffic I get is geared towards joining free sites, and although selling is free, some of the tools I use are not. So, I teamed up with a friend online and made some information available for free so you can check out some of the real nifty stuff.

Well, I think it's official. Almost ever PTC site out there is a scam. I don't think they are purposely a scam, but they never set up for success... They do not look two months down the road and figure out the consequences of their actions. I truly believe they are not meant to be business people. They should have a 1 year plan so they know how their finances will shape up with or without success.

They are a business, and they are rarely treated like one and end up disappointing many many members. There are a few that continue to pay and the only one I support fully is now Hits4Pay. Friends of mine have been having success with Neobux and Isabelamarco (I don't know if I spelled those correctly), but I will not be joining anymore PTC sites.

After being in this industry for over a year and joining over 40 PTC sites, I am done with them. Only three have paid me and one has had to stop paying, the other is Bux.to and they take six months to pay.

I will stay with Hits4Pay though. They do not have many ads, but they pay you well for the ones you watch, they pay you down two levels and THEY PAY ON TIME!!! :)

Google hates me

I have been struggling with google lately. First off, I lost my adsense account, that is why you know longer see google ads on here. Oh well, I was not earning much, but now that I'm learning how to earn with Adsense, I wish I still had it. This happened to many of us all at the same time.

Then I was locked out of my gmail accounts for a few days. There was little info to find online and no one to contact. Eventually, I could just log in again. I find out that this is also going around to some of my friends.

Lastly, my blog used to have a PR3 and was forecasted to become a PR4 but then google banned me because I was linked to some bad apples. I have no idea who it was, but a few of the sites and blogs I was linked with were banned. So I am now in the process of going through all the links to do this. What a pain... arg! I don't even know if I'll ever get back, but I enter my site in google and you can find it, so I think they may be waiting to see if I fix it.

There is some big stuff coming up with Wealthy Affiliate and I will post more. Tues is a great day!

Hi Blog,

I've been meaning to stop by lately. I've been really busy with a lot of real life and online stuff. I promise I will be back soon.

Also, someone posted in the ShoutBox about google banning me at the moment. Apparently I'm linked to something that isn't good... need to figure this out so I can get my blog back into the search engines. Also, gmail locked me out of all my gmail accounts for a day and a half. I have no idea why and they never told me, they just did it. :(

I'm thinking of checking out ehow.com and seeing if it is good at helping with SEO (search engine optimization). I'm too lazy to do anything else tonight. It's just after midnight and the thunder keeps waking the kiddos up.

Have you heard of this program? Is it just another internet buzz word? HECK NO!!! I have been earning online for one year now, and although I have had success, I feel I can achieve even more.

It's almost as if I have picked up bits here and pieces there, but there has been nothing to throw it all together.... That was until I found the Wealthy Affiliate.

They help you learn how to properly affiliate market. They have courses for you to complete, an 8 week training program and a forum that the owners actually use and help you out on.

Are you a Squidoo fan? I completed their Squidoo course in about 10 minutes and learned valuable information that even Squidoo doesn't have posted on their own site. They explain how toe get the most traffic to your lens and how to leverage that into sales and cash. I'm thinking that I may start posting a daily tip to help you out, but it's not even close to what I have learned in only the past 24 hours.

Wealthy Affiliate is not cheap. Well, I guess that all depends on what you consider cheap. Monthly fee is $40. To me, that is cheap for the resources they have available. Where else in the world could you start a business for $40 a month? Too many times people want something for free, but often times, what you are left with is something that is worth nothing.

Make an investment in your future and online business career. Start earning the smart way. And for what it's worth, the earning is not in me recommending you to the Wealthy Affiliate, like so many other online programs. I make money using what they teach me.

I have been very fortunate online and I think it's time to "pay back" to those that read my blog. There is a traffic exchange that I am currently use and LOVE!! It really does provide me all the traffic I could ever want. In fact, I'm thinking of selling some advertising for people, but that's for another post.

What I am doing is offering anyone that joins using this link or any Traffic Era link on this page, I will personally make sure that you are given at least 305 PV or personal value each week. This is not something that is free for me. I take your referral link and use it in various traffic exchanges to insure this. But I don't mind doing it for people who are really interested in earning online. You use the credits you earn on there to advertise for any program you like online. This is the same website that I explained the team concept and it being a great platform for networking as well as making surfing fun. I love my team and hope I continue to perform and stay there.

Multi Level Marketing

I think we all have a good idea of what Multi Level Marketing or MLM is and if you are reading this and don't, I would use wikipedia for a good definiton. MLM has been around for centuries. It's one of the easiest ways to start a home business. Most MLM companies make it an affordable amount so anyone can join. Remember, with MLM it is not the product you are investing in, but more the chance to earn money. Instead of joining a MLM, you could pay the same monthly fee to a bank and I bet at the end of the year, you will have made more via the MLM than the bank you were "saving" it in.

If you have access to a computer, if you have real life friends that have an extra $10 a month, if you are willing to learn, then you can be earning with MLM online.

The best part about MLM is that there are different opportunities for each person's comfort level of spending. I have diversified so as not to discourage people from joining. I use a program that costs about $10 a month and another is $60. Now, don't get me wrong. The products of the companies are usually excellent products, but that should not be your only focus or motivation.

The two sites I recommend after great research are GDI and the Berry Tree. Both are about 7 years old and have been in the industry and hit all their growing curves already. They have proven systems that pay many individuals monthly. I won't break down the individual programs much, but rather post a small synopsis of each.

GDI - $10 monthly - $1 for each referral you refer (and your referrals referral's, etc, etc) - I refer people for you as well.

The Berry Tree - $60 monthly - $ per month varies per each situation (length of time in program counts to your benefit)- Earn without referring 1 person (guaranteed!!)

Two New Payments; Gomez and Bux.to

I have been away on holidays so I have not updated the blog in the past week, but I was pleasantly surprised to return to two new payments.

The first payment was from Gomez for $13.27. This is a site where you are paid for simply being online. The company tests the speed of internet connections throughout the world and use your PC to test various sites from your connection. This is the third time I have received payment from them. My computer runs just as smoothly with this program running, so I'm quite pleased at taking money for letting them do this.

The next payment I received was for $10.04 from Bux.to. I have to admit that I had thought I would never see this money. I requested this payment back on January 15th and never for a minute did I think I would receive payment 6 months later. BUT, I will certainly smile and accept it and request another cashout. SwatCash Payment of $335.03 and Some Marketing Tips

SwatCash paid me again. This month my payment was $335.03. I have been a member of this site for almost a year and month after month the site continues to deliver.

The ways to earn vary, with the most lucrative being the offers they have. You can also to PTC or paid to click at 1 cent per click. Payment is every month around the 15th of the month via PayPal or Cheque.

Since most of you know about the benefits of the site, I will make a suggestion for promoting. Strange for me to post twice in one day, but I have had a couple different items to discuss.

Today, a friend on myLot.com referred me to X3Bux.com. Now, I have slowed down on many of my PTC sites or paid to click sites, but I'm always looking for new ways to earn. He explained that they do show adult content (note- I am wording this in a polite way, it is very X rated, perhaps porn would be a better word). Although this is not something that I'm personally interested in, I can certainly see that there would reside a large market for this type of site. And frankly, I can click it and ignore it like I do most of my other PTC sites anyway. LOL

I won 1000 credits on Lords of Traffic

I have really hit the traffic exchanges hard in the past few weeks and I am happy I have. I have aligned myself with a wonderful team on Traffic Era and not only am I reaping rewards in the number of credits I earn weekly from the team, but I have also met some wonderful people. Some of them own different websites. For instance, Shaun that runs Nocturnal Emails is on my team. It is a wonderful way to network and meet other people in the industry.

Hover Traffic Sites

There is a new trend emerging in the Traffic Site world. If you are unfamiliar with traffic sites they can be used to drive traffic to different sites. They are great for bumping your Alexa rating if you are a blogger (But do not do this if you have adsense, use BidVertiser. You can also use Traffic Sites to display programs you are trying to promote or drive traffic to a page that would bring you money for views. Many people also create splash pages and use these in traffic exchanges because they catch a viewers eye.

Most of these sites require you to click after the specific time has elapsed (10 seconds for example). You may have to click on a number or icon to confirm you did in fact view the website. However, there are new sites that now allow you to simply put your mouse over the a box to confirm you viewed the site. It makes surfing that much faster!

I have only joined one site that currently has this feature. It is called Lords Of Traffic. Other great features of this site include that the site takes a long time to log you out for idleness. They provide clicking contests as well as a team competition that is currently in beta.

Another Proof Of Payment
