This is the last month for JR Designs as you've known it. The retail portion of the buisiness is closing, with November 30 being the last day. November classes will still be as scheduled. Beyond that, at this point it's undetermined whether I will be able to offer classes at this location in the future but will notify everyone at the first of the year regarding that.

This Saturday, Oct 23, I am having a huge sale.

Had our first Cricut I class last week...a full house! We managed to cover it all and have fun while we were at it. Did you get out for some fun over the Labor Day weekend? My son turned 17 yesterday...hard to believe. He was even born on the actual "Labor Day." Our plans were to get away for a restful weekend with my dad to the cabin. Then an unscheduled trip to the doctor said I had a kidney stone, but a cat scan said diverticulitis instead. Decided I could lay in bed at the cabin as easily as I could at home, so with a of boat-load of hydrocodone we were on our way. Four days of clear liquid diet and two types of antibiotics and I am feeling better. I have been meaning to give up diet Coke anyway, so this just made it easy. And starting any diet now would seem like a feast, so no time like the present! Looking for the silver lining here, can you tell? ;)
Wanted to remind you all just a couple days left to enjoy the lower sign-up cost on the Cricut Class and Let's Kit Together scheduled for Thursday, Sept 16. If you sign up (which means register with payment) by Septenmber 9, the cost is less than if you sign up later, Sept 10-16. So why not save yourself some money and plan ahead? My mom passed away in the evening on Thursday, August 19. Many of you met her over these past five years, but unfortunately because of her dementia, you really didn't get a chance to "know" her. Thought I'd share some "snap shots" from the past of healthier, happier times. Hoping to be able to load her memory slideshow here later on for those of you who would like to see it. No paper, embellishments, or adhesive, but loaded with photos and memories...what we are all about, yes?
