It is very simple

Make the Captain of BCCI team speak very high of you ( I cant say how you should do that,you are free to do whatever you want:))

You can be over weight

You can be sluggish in field

You can just glare at bowlers if your bat always misses the balls

And whatever negatives you have, you will still be selected without undergoing fitness test,without playing in any domestic tournament to prove your form. :)

What a idea na? :)

P.S: People criticizing me for me criticizing Mr.Over Cool will not have answer for Mr.UnfitnessRaj's selection into BCCI team :) or do they still have something like 3 years back 6 6s???:)

"JRT review" of Maniratnam's Ravanan Film

From the title of the blog you should be aware now that this is not going to be like the usual review of films:)

Many who watched Ravana is of the view that it is not based on Ramayana and it is a simple Revenge Story.

Your view of the film and the perception is completely wrong.

Ravana is not a revenge story first of all. It starts like a revenge story but after that it turns into a love story unexpressed by both the parties.

The theme of the film suits the title perfectly and it is based on the epic Ramayana.

Even in the epic Ramayana, Ravana is never portrayed as someone who looks out for every available girl and he never man handled Sita till the end(AFAIK).He is portrayed as a Some bad man but not a bad character. While Rama is portrayed as a good man but portrayed as a bad character doubting Sita in the end.

Theme of the Film Ravana:

It is based on Ramayana atleast to 50%

Vikram kidnaps Aishwarya as a revenge act but slowly falls in love with her (not lust)

Mani has handled the story well so that lust is not visible even in a single scene.

Even in the climax where Aishwarya' s mind changes and offers her hand to Vikram, their hands does not touch thereby maintaining the integrity of both.

Aishwarya has acted so well expressing the feelings of her heart in each frame of the film.

Prithviraj is portrayed as Raman destroying all evil things in the form of a police officer and Karthick is portrayed as Hanuman helping Prithvi to trace down Aishwarya(Sita)

Even in the film ,Prithvi doubts Aish in the end whether there has been any relationship with Ravana.

People who knew Ramayana story will appreciate the film for the handling of the story.

The picturisation is good and the hard work of everyone involved in the making of the film is visible in every shot.

Personally only the song “Usure Poguthu” stands in mind and other songs are not so good and certainly not to the standards set by ARR.

Negatives:

*Dialogues in the film is a complete mess. Mani should have been careful in this.

*Ranjitha could have been used more in the film but she was not used due to the obvious reasons.

*For most part of the film, Aishwarya looks a bit alienated from the rest of the cast due to her looks and colours and sometime the film looks like a dubbed film like Uyire.

*Music is a big let down

I dint like the movie at first ,but looking deep the movie looks good and a 1 time watch for sure.

Just Came home!

Moments back crossed a stabbing incident site involving a taxi driver (of Asian Appearance)

and a man.The man was lying with knifes and loads of blood around for almost

an hour now and police just collecting samples and evidences and no medical attention.

So effectively man is assumed killed:(

The inicident happened not in some dark lit sub urbs or lonely street.It happened right in front of the entrance of Crown Entertainment Complex where atleast 200 to 300 people were out at that place with loads of security and police presence:(

Heard about such incidents in TV and Newspapers but first time in person happened to come across

it.Luckily was not there when the incident occured.I could not have done anything but still:(

The man was just 20 to 25 years old.

The Asian driver was also holding his eyes and head (oozing blood)

Praying for the family of victims.

Barking and using the F word on a person like Suman is not expected from Harbhajan.

Now I understood why Sreesanth cried like that in IPL.

How come ?? Just 1 or 2 odd performances by wildly swinging the bat or with the ball and suddenly all of a sudden he gets such a confidence/arrogance that he forgets he is playing in front of millions of people??

Shame that he is in the same team as someone like Sachin!!

And Symonds knew what Harbhajan did in Australia!!

And Yuvraj still carrying the glory of Once upon a time 6 Sixes in an over :) and in last match he was literally barking at the runner (Bisla?) for not taking a single.

Cricket is a gentleman's game and if these 2 dont change ,then nothing could save their career.(They earned enough already in the career is diff issue:)

They will never be able to match Sachin and other Greats !!

For me Harbhajan will be remembered not for his bowling skills but for his slapping and over-sledging.

Doubt regarding TOLL roads in India

I have a doubt!!!

To lay good roads for use of the public is the responsibility of the government and government is doing this from the money collected from citizens in the name of road tax,income tax,etc,..

Then where does this concept of TOLL road come into play?

They say TOLL road is a good road making your drive smooth and comfortable and you need to pay this TOLL Fee to use it.

Does this mean other roads laid by the govt are "dummy piece" roads?

Then why not they lay all the roads with the quality of this HIGH QUALITY TOLL ROAD?

Robbing people through innovative ways!

When the winning runs were scored to secure the victory over Mumbai Indians,the whole people in the Kings Eleven Dug out were celebrating except this Maharaj,The Yuvraj :) who sat alone with a tight expressionless face!!!

May be cursing his team for winning against his future team ?:D

Whether the rumors of he wanting to jump to Mumbai Indians team before the start of IPL III is true or not,incidents like yesterday adds something to the rumors of he intentionally dint play well for his current team.

[MY VIEW : "If the above rumor holds true" , I pity for Ravindra Jadeja who was banned for trying to jump to another team. Some rules does not apply same to all :) . Maharaj escaped and upcoming Jadeja get caught:)

I usually dont expect people to repect me or praise me.But I certainly expect people to respect the dignity of an individual.

One Crap yesterday threw away something which I have been working on for continuous 55 hours without a minute of sleep just to help achieve their objective.And everyone knows I dont get anything for that and it is they who are going to benefit because of that.

A small increase in my blood pressure would have had a very bad effect on that crap and thank God I know how to control myself.

Yes I am a loyal dog,JRT which can sometime bite too.

Disclosing of a company's internal policies and issues and using very bad words in a public gossip newspaper website like Economic Times is not what an educated mature employee of a company does.

Economic Times was once a favorite newspaper which I used to read due to rich contents it provides on Stock Market and Finance.

Now it has degraded itself into a yellow-gossip paper kind,reporting incorrect information like Aussie racial attacks and creatign panick among parents in India and reporting companies like Infosys,TCS,etc,.. internal matters and creating sensation.

A 20 rupee yellow-sex book can generate much bigger sensation than this gossip paper.

Reporting the murder of a kid (murdered by an Indian) as if it is a racial murder is the worst thing a newspaper like E Times could do.

And there is another newspaper and TV channel in Tamil Nadu which will announce a person as dead though he is very much alive and active.(Gowndamani rumour) and telecasting a adult rated clips (Nithyananda Scandal)every 5 minute sin channels watched by Kids and family.

And this Nakeeran book, it is known as THAT kind of book for a long time and so no wonder they grabbed the scandal issue and doing it as if they are doing their daily bathroom chores.

They are creating a mess for themselves by behaving in such a cheap way.

I heard in news and TVs that ICICI indulges in threatening people when they default,but here in DEUTCHE BANK they threaten people even when you dont default.

I will be releasing the full details once I file a case against DEUTCHE Bank in the court.

My sincere advice ! Never opt for Deutche Bank that too its chennai branch in Teynampet,it is full of people who do whatever their high command orders.

For cheating a middle class guy like me,DEUTCHE BANK will suffer.

Take my words,DEUTCHE BANK will go bankrupt in 2012 and before that its chennai branch's unethical behaviours will be revealed.

He may or may not be involved in that Video scandal.

But telecasting it every 10,15 minutes as if the video has been produced by their FILM Productions.

They are telecasting as if it is a promo for their new film.

Dont those people have kids in their home or all their kids are mature at age of 4 or 5?

Have a question to them.If their kids ask what those 2 people in the video are doing,what will those mature parents say to them?

Thanks to someone who filed a case and got a stay order to show those clippings in TV channels.

Note: Kudoos to the person who handled the press conference providing proofs against the allegations made by the media.He was so calm.Whether he did something wrong or not,I liked the way he handled himself in the press conference.

2 Days back a 3 year old kid was found dead 20 kms away from his home in mysterious circumstances in Australia.

Police are investigating this and yet to find out the cause of this murder.

The reasons could be

1.a racist attack
2.some conspiracy from within
3.Or anything for that matter

But Our Good Old Economic Times has put in Big Bold in front page this "EVEN TODDLERS ARE NOT SAFE IN AUSTRALIA"
and I expect our many more media magazines and NEWS channels going to take a lead on this and create pressure in the minds and hearts of many people in India about the safety of friends and family in Australia.

A simple common sense cant be applied by those media people?

Anyway the investiagtion results could be out soon and the truth could be out.But why they want to create fear among people with no conclusive evidence till now? FLUKE newspapers!

2 Months back an Indian who claimed to be attacked and set fire by racist people was arrested on the charge of faking the attack to claim insurance and I remember all Indian newspapers making a big fuzz when the attack news came and when the truth was out and the real fraud was arrested,those newspapers shut their mouths and dint even let out an apology or anything.I accept there are instances of racist attacks here in Australia but not every attack/stabbing/murder involving Indians are racist.

I support newspapers if they provide verified news to people but not making headlines gossips and issues that are very sensitive.

In foreign countries,there is a option for the people to sue the newspapers that defame them and get real justice if they are proved innocence.

Indian Media people will never learn to be sensitive in such issues.
