Yesterday was yet another fabulous gig at Oreana Winery. This place never disappoints...and either do you! Thanks for always showing up, we are humbled by our following!

Right now we don't have any gigs scheduled as September has been a challenging month for coordinating our schedules. We will, of course, keep you posted and in the meantime we'd love to hear your suggestions for other venues to play at!

Once again, our heartfelt thanks for joining us yesterday. We play the music, but you guys rock!

Last month, on the beautifully perfect Saturday that was July 16, J•Town rocked a house overflowing in both patrons and wine at Oreana Winery. It was, by far, the most fun I think we've had to date as a band.

We LOVE this venue. Always met with sunshine, good people, and an environment suited for both family and friends. That's why we're excited to be headed back there at the end of the month, on Sunday, August 28th.

Care to join us? We hope so!!

Two Shows Next Week!

Summer is in full effect, and we've been soaking it in lately on the stage at Oreana Winery down on Yananoli and Anacapa Streets. In fact, J•Town was the first band to "christen" the brand new stage last month (we are honored in that claim to fame).

Needless to say, we're excited to be heading back up on that stage (now with a fresh coat of paint and a railing) next Saturday, July 16 from 2 - 5pm. Come on down and join us at Oreana, 205 Anacapa Street. This event is free (thought we highly recommend wine tasting).

Also next week, we are privelaged to provide the entertainment for the Santa Barbara Young Professional's Club July Mixer, located at 209 Anacapa Street. Yes, it's a coincidence that this venue is right next door to Oreana Winery, but makes it real easy for you to find us! Please join us next Wednesday, July 13 from 5:30 - 7:30pm at CrossFit Pacific Coast. This event is free for SBYPC members and $10 for guests.

Easter Saturday and Backup Dancers

Cold Spring Recap and Upcoming Shows

We'd like to extend a special thank you to our friends of King Bee for having us play a special set at Cold Spring last weekend. And a special, uber Thank-You goes out to Robbie Fair who joined us on stage with some sweet-ass lead guitar. For those of you who may not know, Joel plays keyboard for King Bee...we highly recommend checking them out some time. What a blast! Congrats to King Bee and their 10 years together!

And, with that, we have a couple of new shows to announce:

Saturday, 3/23/11 at Red's Wine Bar
J•Town and some of our friends will be performing from 4-8pm.

Sunday, 5/22/11 at Oreana Winery
J•Town, sunshine (hopefully) and wine from 2-5pm. It doesn't get any better than this folks.

We're looking forward to seeing you all again very soon!

This Saturday: King Bee's 10-Year Anniversary Show, Cold Spring Tavern

Cold Spring Tavern is the place to be this Saturday, April 2, 2011 as King Bee, local rock and roll cover band, celebrates their 10th year together. Our beloved Joel Jamison is the band's keyboardist...Aaaaand, word on the street is that J•Town will even be gracing the stage for a mini-set with a friend at some point during the show.

Should be a great time. Hope to see you there!

Concert for Engineers without Borders

Thanks to everyone who made it out this past Saturday for Joel's concert. It was a huge success! We were enamored for the first hour by Joel's original music - not to mention his witty banter and ability to speak to the 13-year old inside us all! After intermission, Joel was joined by J.J. Kercher for a round of J•Town originals and covers, then were later joined by Doug Thomas on Bass, Dana Olsen on Electric Guitar, Lee Moore on acoustic guitar and Lori Moore on vocals. Thanks to all the talented musicians that contributed to this event, it was a fun evening!

The event raised over $1,000 for Engineers without Borders, supporting their work of bringing clean water to Kenya.
