In this blog, I’m gonna teach you some ways to earn extra cash or let’s say how to save extra cash using this app.

Kutsinta Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup cassava powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ or 1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp annatto powder (dilute in ½ cup warm water)
2 cup water
Grated coconut or grated cheese (for toppings)
Cooking oil or melted butter (for greasing the mold)

Procedure:

Grease mold with cooking oil or melted butter so it would be easy to unmold kutsinta later.
In a mixing bowl combine together cassava powder, all-purpose flour, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Make a well in the center. Add water and diluted annatto powder. Mix until well combined.
Pour mixture into the mold about ¾ full. Transfer to the steamer.
Cover steamer with lid wrap in the cheesecloth avoids water dripping to the kutchinta.
Steam for 12-15 minutes over medium heat or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove kutsinta from the steam and let it cool before removing from the mold.
Serve with grated coconut or grated cheese on top.

Coffee Jelly Dessert Recipe

Ingredients:

2 pack of unflavored gelatin
5 cup water
¾ cup sugar
2 tbsp instant coffee
250 ml all-purpose cream
1 cup condensed milk
1 cup evaporated milk

Procedure:

Put water and unflavored gelatin in a pot. Stir to dissolve over medium heat. Then add sugar and instant coffee, stir well. (Please follow the instruction on the package of gelatin brand you are going to use).
Pour into a square container or baking dish. Let it cool. Cover and refrigerate until it completely set. Cut into the 1-inch cube.
In a bowl combine all-purpose cream, condensed milk and evaporated milk. Stir until well blended. Add coffee jelly into the mixture. Mix well. Then chill in the refrigerator.

Leche Gulaman Recipe

Ingredients:

1 bar Yellow Gulaman (shredded)
2/3 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar (to caramelize) with 1/2 cup water
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup Evaporated Milk
3 pc Eggs
1 can (432 grams) Fiesta Fruit Cocktail (drained, add water to syrup to make 1½ cups )

Procedure:

Caramelize sugar with water in the pan. Divide into 3 llanera/molds. Spread 3/4 of fruit cocktail at the bottom of molds. Set aside.
Dissolve gulaman and sugar in syrup/ water mixture. Boil until gulaman has dissolved, then strain. Return the liquid into the pan. Keep it warm.
In a bowl using a wire whisk, beat eggs until creamy. Strain on the bowl.
Stir in milk and vanilla. Mix with gulaman. Cook over low heat with constant stirring for 5 minutes.
Add remaining Fiesta Fruit Cocktail. Pour into prepared molds with caramelized sugar. Cover and chill until set.
Makes 15 servings

Maja Jelly (Gelatin) Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pack (25g) unflavored yellow gelatin
1 big can (370ml) Evaporated Milk
1 big can (300ml) Condensed Milk
1 big can (425g) Cream of Corn
4 cups water
½ cup sugar
Grated cheddar cheese

Procedure:

1. In a pan or pot dissolve gelatin in water. Add evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar, and cream corn. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
2. Turn on the stove and cook over medium heat. Continue stirring while waiting for it to boil. Once it boils turn off the heat.
3. Pour mixture into a mold. Let it cool to set. Carefully unmold gelatin into a serving dish. Then refrigerate it for 2 hours before serving or you can eat it right away. Top with grated cheese.
