Nowadays, Social networking sites popularity is increasing day by day like facebook, myspace, orkut, digg etc…., we can say social networking is one of the best and free ways for increase traffic on our site. Social networking is important in blogging and if you can’t do social networking then it’s a rare chance that you’ll be successful in blogging. Leaving comments and trackbacks is part of social networking. Apart from that is part of one of the popular Social news networks.

(1). Increase traffic through Friends
Friends are the heart of the social networking attitude, and when promoting content this can be a valuable tool in viral marketing. The more friends you have in your network, the more visibility you will have when promoting.

(2). Increase traffic through Blogs
Blogs are one more great way to spread the word, most blogs allow you to post nameless comments. I use these blogs to post a comment then I include a link to one of my sites. I achieve a free back link for simply commenting on a story.

(3). Increase traffic through Picture Perfect
You may not understand it, but by passing on uploading your picture, you are also passing on an opportunity to get more people clicking on your articles. Why? Well, for one, it is known that spammers never take the time to upload a picture. Second, it is called ’social’ networking and ’social’ bookmarking sites. If you are trying to be ’social’ then you should put a face to your name.

(4). Increase traffic through Profile Pages
If you are a keen online social network’s, you will have a pimped out profile page. Here are a few examples of how you can increase visibility to your content. On my profile pages at myspace.com, digg.com, linkedin.com, stumbledupon.com and yahoo.com I have links to all my social network profiles & personal projects. This does 2 things; increases my link back total to my projects and shifts visitors to my other profile pages so I get more friends! to promote your RSS feeds via your profile pages, the service displays recent RSS activity and the service is free. Another service you find interesting is myspacestats.net myspacestats.net, a service that tracks and stores your social networking traffic. The service simply puts an image on your profile and counts the total amount of visitors per day, month and year.

(5). Increase traffic through bulletin
Bulletins use your friends list, basically the more friends you have the more views your bulletins receive. Common sense! Some people use bulletins way to much and if I grasp these spammers they get deleted ASAP. So my advice is to use this angle a few times a month and keep them simple, this raw move toward keeps the bulletins friendly and not to over bearing.

(6). Increase traffic through Content
Nothing is more important than content. If you are a good writer and you write about interesting topics, you are going to do well on the social networking sites. People seem to like top 10 lists, top 20 lists, etc. I suggest that you look at digg.com to see what gets the most diggs. I have failed multiple times on getting a post digged or stumbled, even when I thought that it was the best article ever. You don’t always win.

(7) Increase traffic through clipart and screensavers
If you have some skills in this direction then try creating clipart and screensavers. Offering these for free is also a good way to get more traffic.

Finally, make sure that you are part of a few of the more popular social networking websites. These memberships will be only destined to build your own network and not of overt marketing. As your social network grows you can invite your contacts to join you on the social networking website. This should start a sequence reaction that will get them inviting their own contacts and so on. Finally your network will grow to a point where it becomes truly helpful.

It’s important for families to show their love for one another, so what better time than Valentine’s Day to play some game, engage in some fun activities, all designed to show each other love and support?

One fun activity is all about giving each other “snaps” for being who they are. Over the course of the year, mom and dad, and the kids as well, can add “snaps” to a special jar or containers. These “snaps” might include things like “dad helped me build my pinewood derby car” or “Joey read books to his sister each night without complaint”. Read these little slips of good things, thank each other for caring and empty the jar to start it again for another year.

At dinner on Valentine’s night, have each family member tell others why they love them. What about dad made mom love him? Why does Joey love his sister? What about sissy is special to dad? It might seem a little corny at first, but in the end, everyone will enjoy hearing wonderful, positive things about themselves.

One fun family game involves family trivia. This game is particularly fun if the children are a bit older and there are at least 2 children in the family. Mom (or dad) creates a trivia game that looks something like this: there will be a series of index cards with a bit of family trivia on each card. Someone draws a card and tries to answer the question correctly. If correct, they get a point. The person with the most points at the end of the game gets a prize or extra chocolate syrup on their dessert. Some questions might be things like this:

*Which one of us suffered a broken leg at the age of 8?
*Which of us, at the age of 3, flushed an entire box of Tide down the toilet?
*Which of us snuck into mom and dad’s room every night until he or she was 6 years old?

At a certain age, children begin to enjoy preparing meals for mom and dad. For a fun Valentine’s activity, the children could be asked to prepare a meal for mom and dad. Ideally, this would be breakfast in bed and could include foods that are traditional “romantic” foods (like strawberries and chocolate) or whatever the kids want to make. They might even like to prepare a special Valentine’s Day menu and let mom and dad choose off the menu. This would be a fun tradition to start as an annual event on Valentine’s Day.

Consider a fun family game of “hidden hearts”. In this game, children are given clues to find chocolate hearts hidden around the house. The clues can be easy or more complicated to figure out depending on the ages of the children. If one or more children are very young, mom and dad can help them with the clues. When they find the hearts, they can eat them, but mom or dad, remember where you hid the hearts and be sure to count how many are found, so there aren’t any left to get ugly in the house!

Finally, a fun family activity around Valentine’s Day is to make cards for other people. Have the kids make handprint cards for the grandparents or have the kids make cards for their friends. Handmade cards can be so much more meaningful than the store-bought kind and kids learn a lot from the experience of putting their hearts (literally) into making the card for others.

I decided to change this template today so I could rethink what I’m going to do with it. It makes me feel better already, it’s soothing. Even though I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m going to do to keep it going no ideas have popped into my head yet. I was thinking I would start featuring some of the info products that I have been hoarding for years, but haven’t decided if that’s the way I want to go.

I don’t do any more paid posting here and have removed the code so I thought it was funny when I received an e-mail telling me that this blog had passed their quality tests during their audit. Well that’s great to hear, but it doesn’t matter because I have other things planned just as soon as I figure out what they are, I feel rather dimwitted at the moment.

I could of course use the outsourced articles that I have to promote this blog to sell some different products and services, or making money through advertisements would be nice, but I’m sure I wouldn’t see any income for awhile. This is particularly true with advertisements and affiliate programs and it can take up to a year or longer to start making any money. Of course I could just consider reselling my outsourced articles.

If you are interested in reselling articles that you paid to have written make sure you get the exclusive rights. That means that the writer can’t use your articles again because they were written especially for you. You should always make this a rule, but most of the legitimate freelance writers wouldn’t do it anyways. If you decide to resell the articles later on then you wouldn’t have any trouble because you have exclusive rights.

That’s something I’ll have to give more thought to. I know many people get stumped for things to write about and if your not a great writer which I’m not that’s a good idea so long as the articles are well written and you can get them for a decent price because the whole idea is to make a profit and if the price is too high then your not going to sell them. There are lots of article memberships out there even that will let you resell theirs…I need to go..take care.

I recently lost my Son to cancer, he was 38 years old and was diagnosed July 08 and lived till December 29th, 08, the saddest day of my life. He was in the hospital at the same time his Son was born on August 1st. I was fortunate that I was able to stand by my Son’s side when the baby was born and it was the proudest moment of his life. All he wanted was a little time to see his Son grow, God gave him 5 months.

The saddest thing any parent will ever go through is to see your child in pain and not be able to do anything about it, but pray. I know prayer can be very potent and there is always hope, but when the inevitable happens and your child dies then you kind of shrivel up inside. I would never blame God for not answering my prayer because I didn’t ask for a miracle just for courage to face what might happen when it did.

God did answer that prayer and I did have courage to face it as my Son did. He wasn’t conscious at the end so he didn’t have time to be afraid. He did have questions about what might happen at the exact moment of crossing and I told him what I thought would happen since I had witnessed my Mother and Father’s death and they were not afraid. He seemed to have no regrets about his life and appreciated all the prayers and energy people sent his way.

He was in a lot of pain and I hated seeing and knowing how he was suffering, but at least he achieved his dearest wish of having a Son before he left this reality and although I will probably always grieve for him I’m glad he has finally returned to his true source and is finally at peace, no more suffering or pain. Just knowing his child has a part of him inside will be enough to sustain me until it’s my time to relinquish my hold and also return to the source.

It simply takes up too much of my time right now for this blog. I have sent ec’s to a couple of my favorite blogs and they are given with love for all of the support I have been given. I am fine and I will still maintain my other two blogs so don’t worry I’ll still be around.

I had to accept a couple ads because I had bought from them and they didn’t even check my blog first, but I have gone through and eliminated ads that weren’t accepted at the time I purchased and transfered the rest for this blog to my other one which cost 12% plus something in taxes…bummer and the 500 to each blog cost 64 tax credits each, pretty steep for all the work we put in.

I am seriously thinking about dropping ppp from this blog since I don’t write much for them and have even stopped dropping Entrecards as much for this blog because it’s too time consuming. I think I will try to get my pr back and do something else here. I will of course have to go through and nofollow everything which would take some time and I also think I might make comments no follow, but haven’t decided on that yet. I feel kind of wishy washy of late.

I added the searchstatus to my Firefox and can now see all of those blogs that say they have dofollow enabled, but don’t. Most of the blogs I leave comments at are nofollow, but I already knew that because most of them are blogger blogs. Many people hate to leave comments when they know they wont get even a link back, but others don’t care. It’s really hard to make a blog work when you don’t get traffic from search engines

Thus far I have had no problems with IE, but many people have reported Trojans. It has even hit our local news and they have been warning people to use another browser till they find a fix. I really don’t use this browser for much except to write a post here and there. My main browser is Firefox which I like much better anyhow. Well, I think I’ll go use up all my credits for Entrecard and I might not accept any more ads for this blog till after January because I don’t want people to waste their credits.

As I’ve mentioned before I really don’t know what I’m going to do with this one yet. I added Adgitize to my other blog and it seems to be doing okay with visitors. Some people say they are making money with it, but to date I think I’ve only made about 3 dollars. I did buy an ad for 14 dollars for a month so I’m actually in the hole. It’s free to join though.

This has been a sunless dreary day and for the life of me I can’t muster up any energy to get anything done. I have tried working online, but I just keep flitting from one project to the next and I can’t focus on anything. I did manage to put my Christmas tree up and get that decorated and put together some ham and bean soup for dinner.

Holidays can be very depressing for many because the anticipation and getting everything done when you don’t have the money and this year is especially bad for so many. I have a sickness in my family and it’s very depressing for me right now. I simply try to cope on a day to day basis and learn to accept things out of my control, but it’s very hard knowing that you could lose that loved one at any minute.

At this point in my life I have decided that nothing makes sense to me and it doesn’t help knowing that I have started drinking again excessively and that I have an addictive personality because I like it. It seems to blur everything for me for awhile, but I know it only makes me more depressed and I know it’s killing my liver, but right now I don’t seem to care.

I have made a few resolutions, but I don’t tend to put those into effect till after the New Year. No one knows what tomorrow will bring and at this point in time I really don’t care. I just felt like putting these words out in cyberspace doesn’t really matter if anyone reads them, but me. Everyone deals with grief in their own way, death should be fast not linger and cause everyone so much pain.
