Cities should encourgage walking

Everyone knows that exercise is good for you, and government and media reminds us constantly to get some exercise and walk or bike instead of drive whenever possible. However, most local government entities do not think about funding/sustaining their walking paths, bike trails, etc. Here in Pueblo, CO there are lots of receptacles for dog waste with a dispenser for plastic gloves for pet owners to pick up their pet's excrements. Every one I see has an empty plastic glove container, it seems as if they were filled just once, then never again.

Another Pueblo example, is the pedestrian walkway between the Jerry Murphy Road area where many thousands live; and Dillon Drive where all the big stores such as Walmart are. If you live on Jerry Murphy road, you must (by car) take the freeway or drive miles out of your way, even though (e.g.,) Walmart is just 1/2 a mile from you.

Pueblo's city planners installed a pedestrian walkway so people could walk 1/2 a mile to the store if they wanted, or the Pueblo Mall, or Goodwill, Target, etc. It goes under the freeway so bike riders and walkers can avoid smog, traffic lights, or walking along the freeway.

There are several problems with the Pueblo walkway:

1) It has never been maintained except to place giant cement blocks to try to prevent people from using it during a severe winter storm, and the city never removed them. People walk around the barriers in the dirt to get by them. (There are no signs saying the walkway is closed, and the barrier come after you walk 1/4 of a mile.)

2) There are tree branches, litter, and garbage on the walkways.

3) Most of the walkways are just dirt, and some is cement. After rain or snow, the dirt turns to mud,
so your shoes get covered with mud.

4) Lots of abandoned property, garbage, and homeless shelter tents are there, athough I never had a problem with the homeless people, all were friendly and did not hit me up for money.

5) Some city signs are wrong! For example, one sign points to the Pueblo Mall, but it is pointing the wrong way!

6) The walkways are not covered, lit, or wind-protected, so they are very hard to use in bad weather or at night. I walk to Planet Fitness every night, and must bring my own flashlight.

If the city of Pueblo fixed these problems, a lot of people would walk instead of drive.

Why must pets and humans suffer because of stupid laws?

A friend of mine has a difficult choice to make. Her cat has many health problems and is suffering, and I told her this: "I too have many health issues, and I hope some law or doctor is kind enough to help me go when it is time. If your cat still purrs, eats, and moves and does not seem in pain all the time, keep him going, if not; I would help the cat leave the earth".

It is a crying shame that in almost all places on Earth, veterinarians are not allowed to visit your home to help your suffering pet leave earth. Many pets die in misery, scared to death by a final trip to the veterinarian, only to face death if they survive the trip. Pets and humans (when it is time to go) should be allowed to skip the suffering and get a home visit from an euthanasia expert. I plan to never die in a hospital, I saw what they did to me and my dying grandfather, no thank you.

Gboard for your cell phone rocks

Typing on a cell phone or iPod or other such small modern wonders of technology have always been frustrating for me, because my finger motor coordination is not perfect because of just one pill of Effexor given to me by a doctor in 2015 that left me with permanent brain and nerve damage, and some things remain very challenging for me.

However, as you can tell from my blog writings, web site, and anyone who knows me; that I have learned how to significantly compensate for what the "doctors" at Kaiser Northern California did to me.

Now, one thing that really helps me type on my cell phone and iPod is Gboard, which is far better than the default keyboards on small device screens. Gboard has a much better predictive text function (that learns) and keyboard than what came on my phone; and it recognizes my voice very well, which sometimes changes during the day as I digest my meals. Using my cell phone and iPod to type is now a breeze with Gboard, which is available for all modern Android cell phones, even the iPhone.

How to stop violent productive coughing

For dry coughs, cough medicine usually helps. If you have very productive cough with thick or lots of mucus, suppressing your cough with drugs may be the wrong thing to do.

If you have an upper-GERD problem like me, bronchitis, or some other medical problem or just have too many productive gagging coughs; you need to remove the extra (often thick) mucus from your body (lungs, throat, and/or sinuses) as fast as you can without hurting your body.

As I have posted many times on my blog; exercise, a puff or two of marijuana (moderation is key, a puff or two is all that is needed and it will not get you stoned, at least not much - and if you are worried about this for any reason; smoke high-CBD weed that will not not get you high, but really helps your health), Mucinex, sniffing (onion, menthol, and/or peppermint); steam, and snorting and sucking the extra mucus out of your body before spitting (see my previous post about how to spit) with both one and/or both nostrils closed; are all very useful to remove your extra mucus. Of course, your body needs some mucus, so only remove enough to stop your productive coughing or spitting. If you use onion, to avoid eye irritation and rubefaction of the skin, put the onion in a baggie, and open the baggy only enough for your nostrils.

The above tips work better than any drug besides Mucinex and Marijuana; to loosen and help you remove extra mucus. The best tool is to gargle and and then sniff in and out with very warm water. Simply take a glass of water/tea/beer/any liquid, and microwave it for (e.g.,) 60 seconds to make the water very warm but not too hot. Then, gargle with the warm liquid and then hold one, then the other, then both nostrils closed; and sniffing hard (with your mouth closed) and then blowing your nose with one nostril, then the other nostril closed (and rotating your head) then spitting until not much mucus comes out. (If you are spitting less than 1/2 a teaspoon, just swallow the mucus.)

Rinse, lather repeat - meaning you continue this routine until the warm liquid is used up, or you stop coughing and spitting mucus. Then, hold your left nostril closed, lean to to the right and suck and spit to clear one side of your sinuses. Then repeat with the right nostril closed and lean to the right and spit. Then blow your nose until you are done.

Finally, rinse gargle and rinse once more to protect your teeth from possibly acidic mucus. I do this myself many times after each big meal, because of my massive upper GERD problem. I give my "stop productive coughing" advice to anyone that I see or hear who is suffering with a violent gagging productive cough; and in every case, I am thanked profusely because I helped them much more than their doctors or any medicines did.

This is not medical advice, and I am not a doctor. (However many people tell me I helped them much more than their doctors do with congestion problems.) And, if you have a sudden productive cough problem please see your doctor to rule out infections or other problems. However, if you have no infection or your doctor cannot help you; try gargling and sniffing with hot water/etc! One last tip, try and laugh out the extra troublesome mucus or sing it out, rather than coughing or spitting it out if you can.

Update, some people emailed me asking why not use a nasal rinsing kit to flush my sinuses? My answer is I did that in the past, and nasal rinsing does not work for me as well as my own techniques, but the ideas above will also help you a lot after you do a nasal rinse.

WhatsApp Review

I recently "held my nose" and bought a new cell phone (because I am moving, and my GPS died and new cell phones have great GPS functions). My love suggested that I get the WhatsApp app, and install it on my new cell phone; and now we use that instead of Google Hangouts. WhatsApp seems to work better than Google Hangouts does (and it is not easy to outdo Google). We just use our cell phones and do not even use Google Hangouts anymore (Even though it is installed on our Android phones.)

WhatsApp uses your cell phone's internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or your, or any open Wi-Fi connection) to send and receive messages. You do not have to pay extra to use WhatsApp (however it does use data). As long as you have not exceeded your data limit or you are connected to your own or a free Wi-Fi network, your cell phone carrier should not be charging you extra for messaging using WhatsApp.

I find WhatsApp to be very easy to use, and jam packed with features including voice calls with amazing quality (better than any cell phone and most land lines if your cell phone gets good reception), video, and text chatting. One nice feature is the record-to-talk voice recording feature. For fun, my love record things such as "I love you Mark" which I listen to often to make me happier.
I give WhatsApp a solid thumbs up.

Obscene prices for domains in 2017

I had a new business idea, and of course; I thought of a clever domain name. I went to that domain and some ignorant person was trying to sell that blank domain name for $30K.

These people need to wake up; it is not your domain, it is what you do with your domain name that counts. For example (I have not been to the site) consider example.com. If you have that domain, it is not worth much without good content. Imagine if Yahoo or Google just parked their domains, they would not be worth much would they? The days of big money for (just) words or word combination domain names without content and usefulness are long gone. This is why I am selling all my domains that I am not "using" with good content on them.

Exercising in Public

Because of my rare upper GERD problem, I must (while any of my meals digest) rub my tummy, massage my chest; and move around and exercise to prevent fluids from sitting and accumulating in my lungs, throat, and sinuses. If I do not, pressure eventually gets put on my brain, causing big problems for me.

Because of my GERD, I eat slowly once a day, in the mornings. I also must rotate my head and hold my nose and sniff to avoid getting a seizure. When I move around and persistently keep my sinuses open and take lots of CBD (and a little bit of weed too); I persistently avoid seizures, vomiting, and perhaps even death! (OTC medicines do not help, and my doctors will not prescribe me anything more than sugar pills or poison that does not help me, and many doctors have hurt me with there pharmacy drug experiments.) None will approve my use of CBD which stops any seizures I do get, and prevents 99% of them.

After a few hours of lying down (because if my GERD), I run, walk, do isometrics, pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, go to the gym, etc. While in parks and other isolated places, I test my strength against anything strong enough to withstand my strength without damage. I turn my idle times into exercise sessions. I exercise while walking, waiting for a bus, in parks, etc. What amazes me, is how many times random people yell at me, and security guards and police stop and question me just for exercising and maintaining my health.

Examples include pulling and pushing against poles, trees, benches, etc. I do pushups all the time on benches and this gets people mad for some reason. Of course I only do this if nobody is using the bench, or near the tree, or the pole supporting a bus sign, etc. I commonly apply my force to immovable objects and rotate my body to involve as many muscles as I can, which helps to keep me strong and healthy.

Yesterday I was doing pushups from different angles on a bus bench and some lady driving stopped her car and yelled "stop it" at me over and over. I cannot fix stupid people, so I walked away and she drove off and I resumed my exercises. While waiting half an hour for a bus, I do all kinds of resistance exercises off bus benches, enclosures, and poles for bus signs. On buses, when nobody is sitting in the seat next to or in front of me, I exercise against the metal bars on the seat in front of me.

I always try to be as discrete as I can, and never exercise when I am right in front of somebody. Once in a while a cop or security guard harasses me. I have never been arrested, after I explain I am disabled and have a serious medical condition and the more I exercise the better I do; and then let the cops or security people verify that I am not stoned, drunk, or crazy (and smell my diet sports drink to make sure it is not alcohol); they let me be.

If I do not exercise in public I cannot go out, and if I do not move around I must lie down on my bed, and have risks of vomiting, seizures, and other problems. Before I learned how to take care of my health, I was bedridden all the time.

Why is it that it is understandable to vomit or have a seizure in public, and everyone feels sorry for you and tries to help you; but thinks you are inebriated, crazy and/or evil if you take care of your health by exercising?

How to ride the Pueblo Bus system

Because a Pueblo bus stop is close to where I live, and because I cannot drive in Colorado because of my past seizures caused by doctor's Prozac and Effexor pills, I ride the Pueblo buses often. Pueblo's bus system's official site is at https://www.pueblo.us/492/Bus-Schedules

That website has PDFs of each bus route, however it does not show stores and other places and landmarks you might want to go to on the Pueblo bus routes. Can you take the Pueblo bus system to (where you want to go) is tough question to get an answer to. Sometimes, if you ask a bus driver or the staff at the bus terminal they know the answer, but not always. The bus drivers have always been polite. Some bus stops are 200 feet from each other, some are miles apart. In Pueblo, 99% of riders are polite, about 1% are a bit rude. Everyone from 4 to 100, fat, skinny, all races, including minorities like me (older white males). The Pueblo bus signs are not very noticeable, and there is no consistency, sometimes bus signs are flat against walls, some are on poles, some come with a covered park bench some with no bench, some stops at stores and libraries, other stop in the middle of pure residential areas.

Every Pueblo bus travels in a loop and docks at the common bus terminal where you can catch another bus going to where you want to go. (The buses often arrive at about the same time at the terminal.) The routes are not always orthogonal (they sometimes have different routes for return routes, and some bus routes have the same stops). For this reason, you do not have to exit the bus when it docks at the station, you can ride it until it goes where you want. Limited transfers are free in case you need to take several buses to reach your destination. It costs $1.25 to ride the bus, the full fares are at:

I have a monthly pass, which saves money and adds convenience. The best way to learn where the buses go, relative to landmarks such as parks, stores, restaurants, etc; is to spend a day riding every Pueblo bus (takes about 4-6 hours) with a pen and paper, and optionally a GPS, to note which bus goes where and they stop at. It is a good idea to list any possible places you may want to go and save it as a text file you can search later when you need it. The Pueblo buses are comfortable and modern, and kneel for those in wheel chairs.

The drawbacks of the Pueblo buses is often they run once an hour, so if you have to transfer at the bus terminal it can take 2 hours to reach a destination. The bus seats are OK, a bit cramped and hard. I think all buses should run every 10 minutes, if they did that, everyone would ride them. Also, Pueblo buses do not run at nights (the last bus runs around 5:30 to 6 PM, making it useless for those who work late), weekends, or holidays, limiting their usefulness. If you miss the last bus, sometimes there are overlapping routes, so you might catch another bus that takes you close to your desired stop. As an example, I missed the last Highland bus (7) so I took the Bessemer bus (2) which took me within a mile of my house and I just walked on a nice day to get some exercise. Lastly, because the bus routes sometimes overlap, be careful not to get on the wrong bus. For example, Pueblo bus 7 and 8 both go to the courthouse, where I often go in my judgment business; and I was so glad to see the bus come that I did not pay attention to which bus number it was - so I just rode the wrong bus all the way back back to the bus terminal. (The Pueblo bus terminal also includes a Greyhound bus terminal in the same building.)

Update, I got on my bus home today and the bus computer said my monthly pass was invalid. The fix was to take the next bus home (that second said my card was OK, ah technology).

Route 1, stops at DVR and Paisanos restaurant.

Route 4, the The Berkeley/Beluah route stops at places including: La Quinta Hotel, V.A., Windgate Hotel, KMart, Kohl's, Mineral Palace Towers, Comfort Inn.

Route 6, the The Pueblo Mall route stops at places including: Walmart Dillon, The Pueblo Mall, Planet Fitness, Target, 1 block from) Goodwill, Ramada, Inn, IHop, Home Depot, King Soopers grocery, Holiday Inn, Motel 6, Clarion Hotel, Sam's Club, the Post Office, Kohls, and the Clairion Windgate hotel.

Route 7, the Highland Park route stops at places including: Walgreens, (1 block from) Pueblo Mac and PC Repair, Pueblo Community College (Marilyn Thomas), Cricket Wireless, Loaf N' Jug, (1 block from) the Pueblo state fair, (1 block from) Walmart, (1 block from) Dollar Tree store, (1 block from) Pizza Ranch, (1 block from) Pueblo Athletic Club, (1 block from) Doctor Gary B. Grey, DDS, (1 block from) Patriot Car Wash, Sonic fast food, Seth High School, Albertsons, The Sangre De Cristo apartments, Safeway, Wells Fargo, and half a mile from the Pueblo DMV office (which is silly because if you do not have a drivers license, the bus should take you right to the DMV.

Route 9, the University route stops at places including: Prayer Assembly, East High School, Cricket Wireless, Case De Saite's, Family Dollar, Asian market, and Harmony Ridge Apartments.

Route 10, the Belmont route stops at places including: the Oakshire apartments, Minnequa Works credit union, Family Dollar, Sav-A-Lot (a grocery store), Legacy bank, Big Lots, Pueblo Social Services, DVR, Health Solutions, (close to) Comcast, the Post office, Colorado State University campus, Kirby Vacuum, Smoker Friendly, Loaf N Jug, Cricket wireless, Dollar general, the Department of Transportation, PS I Love You flowers, Paisanos restaurant, Firestone Tires, Board of Water Works, Gear Up Auto, ENT, Rent-A-center, Barkman Library, an Asian Market, Kuan's Kitchen (Chinese restaurant), Christian Foundation Center, Trinity Life Gardens, East High school, the Skyview Apartments, Belmont Square, and Eaton High School.

Cheap, easy, healthy chow mein

I created a recipe, and it was so good, I thought I would share it:

2 Nissan chow mein noodle packs, chicken or kung poa flavor (I use one of each, usually less than a dollar each).
2 chicken breasts - cooked and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces.
1 pack frozen Chinese vegetables.
Some teriyaki sauce.

Cook the noodles in the microwave as the Nissan product suggests.
Cook the chicken separately in teriyaki sauce. Drain the sauce and chicken juices.
Microwave the frozen vegetables, drain.

Combine and mix all ingredients and enjoy.

Why don't doctors prescribe Benzodiazepines for GERD?

It is a fact that benzodiazepines help many GERD sufferers, because they relax the stomach muscles and the part of the brain that controls the stomach. Yet, very few doctors will prescribe benzodiazepines, no matter how bad your GERD is, leading many GERD sufferers to buy benzodiazepines illegally.

This is such a shame, because GERD sufferers such as me are very unlikely to abuse or become dependent on benzodiazepines, and they really help many GERD sufferers.

Bug in Google hangouts chat

I noticed that in Google Hangout's chat, they no longer let you smile/use an emoticon the old fashioned way, (e.g.) by typing :) or ;)

If you manually type a smiley or a wink (etc.), it shows up as blank grey area in Google chat. Now, you must select one of their canned smileys/emoticons, oh well, let's all accept this change.

Non-drug nasal inhalers reviewed

My non-drug nasal inhaler review. Because I have upper-GERD, my sinuses completely clog after eating a regular meal. Clogged sinuses can cause serious health problems. What helps me the most to unclog my sinuses and nasal passages are cheap non-drug nasal inhalers containing either some or all (menthol/peppermint/camphor/borneol/or eucalyptus). These nasal inhalers are much cheaper and more effective than any over-the-counter or doctor-prescribed nasal inhalers. Sniffing fresh onion also helps.

I recommend using a non-drug nasal inhaler every time you blow your nose or have sinus congestion. Vicks makes one that you can find in drug stores, however the Vicks inhaler dries out quickly, see below. Amazon is the best place to buy nasal inhalers (search for "peppermint nasal inhalers"). All nasal inhalers are small and light, and come with caps that must be kept in place when you are not using the inhaler or the essential oils will vanish.

Every nasal inhaler with either or all of (menthol/peppermint/camphor/borneol/eucalyptus) works/worked very well for me. Most nasal inhalers are made in Thailand. Below are my ratings of the nasal inhalers I have tried, rated from A to B:

Vicks VapoInhaler: Expensive, does not last long. B

Peppermint Field inhaler: A

Poly-Sian Mark-II inhaler: A

SianG Pure inhaler: A

Vapex 2 in 1 inhaler: A

Olba's Inhaler: a bit expensive, does not last long. B

Using inhalers like these allows me to never cough, no matter how much post-nasal dripping or congestion I get after eating!

As a person with a rare upper-GERD problem, I use a lot of cough drops. While on the road, I ran out of cough drops and went to the store to buy more. For my teeth and health, I always use sugarless cough drops, and I decided to buy Halls Sugar Free Defense cough drops. This was a mistake for me, because I need peppermint/camphor/menthol in my cough drops to help me keep my sinuses open. Halls calls this a "cooling factor" when it really means the difference between candy and medicine. There is no medical benefit for me with these Halls cough drops. My advice is to always choose cough drops with peppermint/camphor/menthol in them. The best deal I have found on good sugarless cough drops is Walmart's Equate sugarless 70-pack of cough drops with menthol from eucalyptus oil.

The frustration of Xfinity/Comcast

Where I live now in Pueblo, CO; Xfinity/Comcast has the lions share of the market and there are not many other choices available here. I ended up with CenturyLink, even though they are not perfect, at least they got my order right, and by calling them I got a cheaper plan than Comcast/Xfinity.

Xfinity/Comcast has a reputation for rock solid internet, and sometimes terrible customer service and billing support. The last straw for me was that even though I tried at least 50 times, Xfinity cannot separate my ex-wife's California Xfinity account from my order attempts in Colorado. When I try to order new service in Colorado, they always show my old California address. I cannot order new Xfinity service without potentially messing up my ex-wife's/son's internet.

When I went to Xfinity's site, they told me to call them, when I called Xfinity, they told me to visit a store, at the store they tell me to call or go online. Rinse, lather, repeat, after 50 times, I gave up.

Update, CenturyLink lost my order, and gave me a spam phone number to call, oh well, I guess I will hold my nose and try one more time with Comcast. Update 2, it worked, all I had to do is use my gmail account and boom, it worked. Yahoo. So, if you have a problem ordering Xfinity because your email was used to set up a previous account at Xfinity, just use another email, such as a free one from Google or Yahoo, etc.

However, Xfinity's web site is a bit of a joke, they are trying to be Yahoo and Google, (With front page news, celebrity stories, weather, sports, gossip, and such) and you cannot even check emails there because of a silly pop-up that blocks viewing your email.

Also, there are bugs in their DVR; if you hit the fast forward one time too many, it jumps so fast you miss shows and end up on the next commercial. The DVR also has an annoying trick question: Sometimes at a show's end; a window pops up. The problem is that the same size, color and format pops up that says "Buy or cancel" or "Watch or Cancel". This can cause those in a hurry or with imperfect vision, to accidentally buy some show episode when they already have several episodes recorded of that same show. Also when a show ends, it takes too long for the DVR to be ready to pick a new show, the fix is to hit the Xfinity button on the remote and go to saved shows. Of course during prime time, I often get a temporary DVR service not available message.

Their TV remote is easy to program to work with most modern TVs, however even that has a bug. The keys light up when you move the remote, and turn off when it is stationary. This means at night you must shake the remote before you can use it, and if you hesitate, they keys turn dark. I think a better way to light the lights is when you are holding the remote, either with a capacitive sensing system or a light interruption system or a heat sensing system do detect human hands.

Also, their chat with support system is frustrating - you must log in a few times, answer screening questions, and wait a long time.You have to backup to return to where you jumped from. Also, if you are like me and like really old TV shows much better than dysfunctional family sitcoms and other junk, make sure you set it to record new and old shows on their website, which is great for programming your DVR. Maybe Xfinity should hire me as Comcast's user interface consultant!

How much do judgment enforcer charge?

Q2) Your judgment buyer insulted me with a low cash upfront offer for my judgment, can you find me another judgment buyer?

A) On small, or not-easy-to-recover judgments, the average expert judgment enforcer charges 50% of whatever they recover. If you have a small or tough judgment and the judgment enforcer charges a lot less, that usually means they are new or desperate for business because they have not recovered any judgments they have already got. If you have a large judgment and judgment debtor has not hidden their obvious available assets, most judgment enforcers charge less, perhaps 33%.

Real judgment buyers pay only what the judgment debtor's available assets will support. If the debtor is unemployed, does not own property, in jail, old, or poor, judgment buyers pay about 1-3 cents on the dollar.

Electronic Signatures in a Judgment business

Electronic signatures (one example is Adobe Echosign) are becoming more popular, and some (busy and successful) judgment enforcers are starting to use them in their business.

The reason to use electronic signatures in your judgment business, is that it can dramatically speed up how fast one gets their judgment contracts/agreements signed and returned. It can turn weeks of waiting into minutes. The original judgment creditor does not need a printer, paper, a pen, an envelope, fax, or a stamp. These minor tasks can help to create procrastination. All the original judgment creditor has to do is type their name electronically, and Echosign sends a copy of the signed contract/paperwork to both you and them. Echosign works on all modern computers, tablets, phones, iPods, etc.

Electronic signatures are binding in all 50 states. Echosign (and other companies) logs their location, the device they used to sign their document on, their IP address, their email account used to access the document, the time, the date, etc; and produces an Echosign Certification Document with all of the above. It is even more secure than an ink signature in many ways.

Of course, some people might resist electronic signatures, and many courts do not accept them (E.G., on an Assignment of Judgment), so do not abandon the pen and paper method completely. This is how electronic signatures might speed up things in a judgment business:

1) Contact with the prospective Original Judgment Creditor.

2) Email the OJC your purchase agreement via Echosign.

3) Receive the Echosigned agreement.

4) Automatically (with an auto-responder), or manually email the OJC, notifying them you will be mailing/emailing the assignment of judgment with instructions to get it notarized.

5) Mail your hard copy of assignment contract with a return envelope, postage, and instructions to get it notarized.

Electronic signatures reduces the procrastination factor. Once the original judgment creditor has electronically signed your agreement, they are now are invested in the process. Once they are invested in the process, they are much more likely to follow through with signing the assignment of judgment (which is what really matters). This is crucial, because for the assignment they actually have to do some work to get it notarized, it is easier to get them to do that once they have signed off and are invested in the process.

Invite Your Audience Carefully

Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of, or at least minimize your time with, draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships. Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know or appreciate you? The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of Your Life. "If you cannot change the people around you, change the people you are around." Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income. And so we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds. We should not share our dreams with negative people, Nor feed our dreams with negative thoughts. It's your choice and your life It's up to you who and what you let in it.

How to spit and blow your nose

I have a rare form of "upper-GERD", which means I must spit and blow my nose a lot after meals. I have learned on my own, how to spit and blow my nose for maximum effectiveness and minimum harm to the body. Learning how and when to spit and blow your nose reduces coughing and helps your teeth. I think these tips will benefit anyone with a cold or congestion problems:

First of all, if you have mucus in your lungs, throat, and deep into your sinuses, try lightly beating your chest while gargling with warm water (I add a bit of mouthwash, Alcazone PH adusting drops, and a bit of baking soda to the water to counteract the damaging and acidic stomach mucus). After you gargle, hold you nose closed and suck the mucus out. (See below for how to spit.) Repeat until the water is used up or no more excess mucus is coming out. This works very well for me.

How to spit: (exercise, Mucinex, steam, sniffing fresh onion, peppermint inhalers, and marijuana all loosen up mucus.)

Massage your tummy and beat your chest lightly to loosen up and trapped mucus. Sniff a peppermint inhaler (they are cheap). Then hold your nostrils closed and suck mucus into your mouth, while rotating your head in a circle, up and down, and side to side 3 times, then spit. This makes one spit very effective because sinuses and the rest of your body are 3-dimensional. I have found that spitting this way stops coughing and is much more efficient than simply spitting. Of course, gargle and rinse your mouth after spitting. Of course if you have less than a teaspoon of mucus in your mouth you can just swallow it. My spitting decision is 1/2 of a teaspoon.

How to blow your nose: (exercise, Mucinex, steam, sniffing fresh onion, peppermint inhalers, and marijuana all loosen up mucus.)

Drink something (hot tea works best) and hold the liquid in your mouth. Inhale peppermint or onion. Then, hold one nostril closed and your mouth closed. Blow your nose several times, while you rotate your head and nod yes and no. Repeat with the other nostril. If nothing comes out, push a Kleenex up your nose and repeat until the Kleenex comes out fairly dry.

To get out the last residuals, try laughing while holding one nostril closed, then both nostrils closed and dancing around turning your head, this is fun and good for you! By using all these techniques and ingredients, I no longer have to cough or use cough medicine.
