Get your game cards ready! Bingo, is “a winning new musical” that allows audiences to play along with the game of chance, Bingo mixes character songs, quirky contestants, romance and rivalry into an interactive, presentational contest — all during a fierce hurricane.

In this interactive musical comedy, the audience gets to join in the Bingo game at Hamerin County’s St. Luke’s Church basement, where they will meet, among others, Vern, Honey and Patsy: three pals that have driven through Hurricane Dora in the name of their weekly obsession. In-between the number calling, strange rituals and fierce competitions, love blossoms and estranged friends reunite, sending everyone home a winner.

Quire headlines Medina Choir Festival

Quire Cleveland is the headliner of the upcoming Choir Festival presented by Medina High School, under the direction of MHS Music Teacher, Tyler Skidmore.

Artistic Director Ross W. Duffin has chosen favorites from the ensemble’s repertoire for their part of the program. Included are pieces by William Byrd, Henry Purcell, Johann Pachelbel, and Gustav Holst.

CLEVELAND OCT. 31, 2011—Music and Art at Trinity Cathedral is celebrating the genius of Benjamin Britten with a four-concert Britten-Fest during November and December. Often cited as the greatest English composer of the 20th century, Britten (1913-1976) composed in a wide variety of forms throughout his life, and was also known as a superb conductor and pianist.

Meet Evelyn Scrooge and her chain-rattling partner Janet Marley in this charming take on A Christmas Carol. A haunted sweatshop in old New York brings out all the usual suspects with some unexpected twists. The foot-stomping ragtime score and witty script are a holiday treat for all ages!
The production features Adina Bloom as Evelyn Scrooge and Judith Overcash as Janet Marley.
There will be a Theater Preview 45 minutes prior to curtain in the Gallery at the Solon Center for the Arts, and a 'Meet the Artists' Reception will be held immediately following the performance.
