Headshots should be current (age, look, style, etc.) and reflect his best qualities.   I don’t think a casting agent will be very happy to see you walk in when they’re expecting someone 15 years younger, or have longer hair or a different hair color.   So if you’re planning a change, like hair, do it BEFORE you take your shots.  If not, it’s just a waste of money because your agents will send you back to get new ones.

LESSON HERE:  do all the changes you’re willing to keep up for the duration of your headshots BEFORE you get them done.

As for the amount you need, that’s something you should discuss with your agent.  Lots of agents have digital headshot and printed copies.  Many will pick out 3-4 looks that showcase different types of characters you can portray.  But like I said before, talk with your agent first.  They know what looks are going to sell for you.

Karina, 12 years old and 1 of 2. She’s a twin! Identical I believe. If not they sure look like it.  This is one of the 1st shots she took.   I could have stopped at that point because I had the shot, but why?

I’ve been meaning to! I swear!  I have grand ideas of posting photos and comments on my shoots, but here we are SEPT (2 months later… almost to the date!) and I haven’t done squat.

I’m still not ready but I thought I can at least upload my promo pieces!
