I'm expecting!

2014-01-26T18:47:00.001-08:00

That's right. My husband and I are expecting a baby girl in late March of this year. We are super excited cause we have been trying for years and it's finally happening.

As of right now, I am 31 weeks and 3days. I don't know why it has taken me this long to announce this but I have taken the time to do so now.

When we first found out, I was already 8 weeks pregnant. I wasn't having any morning sickness, but what I was having was bad bowel movements that everytime I would eat, that would make me go to the bathroom (tmi?). I would also feel very sleepy and tired, I had very sore boobs (week before my periods this would happen, so I didn't think to much about it), and in long car rides I would get dizzy (which was twice). My period was always irregular that it would take sometimes up to 45 days to come so I didn't think to much about it too. I remember, I finally told my husband that we needed to buy a pregnancy test cause I didn't want to go to the clinic and waste my time if I wasn't and be disappointed there. So we did one late August night. As soon as I got home I took the test and sure enough there were two pink lines. I was in disbelief that I took the second one, which was electronic, and said pregnant. We couldn't believe it. We were both like "what did we do differently?". I told him that I think it was cause I started drinking tea. I don't know but I still believe that. It cleanse my body. Also, that it was god telling us that we are ready to grow our little family.

At about 26 weeks I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. It's been a little hard for me just because I had to change my eating habits. I was so used to drinking coca cola that I honestly felt like I was having withdrawals, haha. Also, had to stop eating a lot of fast food. So far I've been doing kind of good in keeping my sugar levels normal but kind of bad maintaining a healthy pregnancy weight. Since I am considered overweight, I was only instructed to gain 15lbs to 20 lbs. But since my diet has changed I am still at my pre pregnacy weight. It's pretty crazy and very understandable since I'm not eating all the fatty foods. So now, my dietician has instructed me to try to gain at least 1/2 lb a week throughout the rest of my pregnancy. To tell you the truth, that is kind of hard. I'm definitely trying though.

So much time has gone by and this baby has been super good to me. No nausea or morning sicknes, which I am thankful for. The only thing now is that she's really low and is always by my bladder and makes it hurt. It's hard to get up from bed cause of the pain. It's not painful just a little mild. She likes to move around at night the most when I'm laying down. I think I'm starting to get those Braxton Hicks false labour symptoms. I don't know but my back starts to hurt, I get low menstrual like cramps and almost every night a huge lump pops up from the left side of my stomach. Don't know if that's the baby or my uterus.

I hope my labour is as good as my pregnancy. I'll keep you all up to date.

Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum

2013-12-16T00:11:00.000-08:00

It's been a long while since I last posted something on here. A lot of things have changed in the past year or so, but for this post I will be talking about Cindy Crawford's Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum. Evey time I would channel surf I would come across her infomercials and always wondered if the products actually works. Well, fortunately the wondering was over since Influenster.com sent me the Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum to try out.

Please excuse my yellow nails. lol

I wish I could've taken a before and after pick but I didn't. I was just so much in a rush to try out this product and see a transformation really quick. I have brown spots on both of my cheeks close to my eye. I first tried this Crème de Serum at night and then again in the morning, and I kid you not I was already looking at some results. My skin tone looked a little even and I even saw some of the spots disappear. My skin felt smooth and fresh after applying the product. I don't know how much more to describe this product to you but say that it is amazing.

I'm considering in buying the full line later in the future, but for now since I am low on cash, I'll continue using my sample size Meaning Beauty Crème de Serum.

I received Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Gratitude

2012-07-24T01:52:00.001-07:00

I know all my life I haven't been really grateful of what I have or what life has offered me. Lately, I've been looking at this very closely and realized that there are a lot of things that I am grateful for.

Here is a list of things that I am grateful for:

• My parents, for bringing me into this world and loving me.
•My husband, everything about him and especially for being really supportive
• My sister's & brothers
• for being alive
• for god
• my body & health

• for my mother-in-law, even though at times its hard to be around her, I'm still grateful for her bringing my husband into this world and raising an amazing person and for all she has done for us through the tough times.

• this planet called earth
• the moon and the stars because they make me feel relaxed and looking up at them make me realize that anything is possible.
• for this bed that i can sleep on at nights
• for having a roof over my head
• for my mini fan that cools me down on hot summer days and nights.
• for my Urban Decay eye shadows
• for the little things in life
• I'm grateful for everything and everyone in my life.

The list can go on and on, but I think these are maybe the most important ones. Whether its family, yourself, god, nature, material things or just about anything, you should be grateful for what you have because in reality not a lot of people have either most, half, or anything of what most of us have and only wish they could or are not around anymore. And with just a single blink of an eye, everything can be gone, just like that.

Halloween Cake Pops

2011-11-01T02:02:00.000-07:00

I'm a little late on posting this for Halloween, considering that it has only been an hour and 30 minutes since Halloween ended. I would've posted sooner but felt a little lazy to do so. Haha. This past Saturday, my husband and I were invited to a Halloween party at a friends house. I decided to make cake pops and attach a label to them with the name I plan on naming my company, JuJu's Treats, and with the Facebook address so that they can go on it and "Like" the page.
At first I thought of selling them, but when it came to actually selling them I felt embarrassed and saw that people didn't want to buy them, so I just gave them away. Later on that night, I told my husband that it was a bad idea taking the pops to that party because the people there were all young people in their early 20's and all they had in their mind was alcohol and munchies. There was no way they were even going to notice the tag on them. Sadly, I didn't get any new "Likes" on the facebook page. I should have saved them for the kids or parents walking down the street asking for candy on Halloween. It would've been up to the parents to say if it was safe or not to eat the pops, but at least I would've had it in mind that they did see the tag.

Happy Halloween 2011

Real Steel Los Angeles Premiere

2011-10-03T14:23:00.000-07:00

Yesterday, (Oct. 2nd, 2011) my husband and I went to the Real Steel Los Angeles premiere at the Gibson Amphitheater. We got to walk down the red carpet and it was intense. We actually walked through it twice because we wanted to get a glimpse of Hugh Jackman. It was to insane! Haha amongst all the Real Steel stars there, I didn't know there were going to be other famous people. I just thought it would be the people in the movie. So, I'll put a list of everyone we saw down below and you'll just have to Bing them or IMDB them to see who they are, lol. Oh yeah, and I totally forgot my camera at home. I couldn't believe it because I always have my camera with me. It's just that I had put the battery to charge and I totally forgot about it, until halfway to the event. =/

Okay, so we start getting our movie tickets and our credentials, then down the red carpet. Once we got to the doors of the theater, they check your bags then go through security. After you're inside already, you go to the concession stand to grab your complimentary popcorn and drink (Coke, Sprite, and Dr. Pepper). Then you get to your seat and watch the movie. After the movie, you are invited to the reception outside the theater and get to mingle with the stars.

The movie was pretty good. It is a family movie where you know your heart will melt in between and at the end. haha. I mean, I do like movies like this but my husband wasn't really a big fan. I'm not a big movie reviewer, so all I can say is go watch it with your family. Oh the robots fighting parts were good and intense.

The reception was so beautiful and warm. The only problem I had was my shoes! They gave me blisters, ugh. I knew I should've just worn my flats, haha. I'm not a big heel person. Any who, the food they had was awesome! Even though my husband and I haven't eaten all day. They had hamburger sliders and chicken sandwiches too. Mac and cheese, backed potatoes, salad, carrots with ranch, bread with tomato sauce shots, and hot dogs. Dessert was delicious too. Although, everyone kept cutting in line trying to get to the cake pops, haha. Finally got one and ended up throwing it away. I had to much on my plate that I started getting impatient cause it was to crowded, so there were people pushing up on you and I had the plate in my hand, so you can imagine. Plus, my feet were hurting.

All in all, it was a good evening!

Oh yeah, and my husband loved the free beer, haha.

Hugh Jackman and the whole crew of Real Steel, 50 cent, Sugar Ray Leonard, Garcelle Beauvais, Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez and his sister who comes out in Mall Cop, Sophie Monk, Tommy Davidson, Tom Morello, Carson Kressley, Jason Behr, Jennifer Grey, Hank Azaria, Madeline Carroll, China Anne Mcclain, Adam Irigoyen, Bella Thorne, Zendaya Coleman, Omar Benson Miller, Jonathan Togo. This is just to name a few and who I can remember. =)

Most of the stars there were Disney Channel stars. I noticed and I know this because I have nieces and a nephew who love the Disney Channel.

Disney's Shake It Up Zendaya Coleman, Bella Thorne. Took this pic for my nieces who love this show. I want them to think that they Auntie is cool. haha

Ex Strikeforce fighter and now UFC fighter Mayhem Miller. You may have know him best for hosting the MTV show Bully Beatdown.

haha the red carpet

Cake Pops

2011-10-02T04:19:00.000-07:00

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I sure am! Tomorrow I will be attending the premiere to the movie Real Steel. I'm excited for that. Ok, now to the cake pops. My younger sister, her husband, and her daughters came over to spend the night, and my 3 year old niece came up with the idea of making cake pops. Well, her and her sister fell asleep on me and I ended up doing them on my own. I just finished and it is 4:12am. I'm so very tired and just want to go to bed. Anyway, back to the pops. This was my first time doing them, and I thought it was going to be easy, well I thought wrong. I had trouble melting the chocolate and getting the cake to stay on the stick. I just ended up doing 10. I think that's enough for them, lol.

Bing and the CW

2011-09-26T20:23:00.000-07:00

This evening, as I was studying for my Anthropology class, my dad comes into my room and says, "Julie, look what you got". I turn around and it's this huge cardboard box. I immediately got up and went to open it. I remembered that about a week ago the Bing Advocacy Program manager, Tanya, sent me an e-mail asking me if my address was correct in the database because she wanted to send me something. I automatically thought of her and that e-mail. My husband assumed I ordered something online, and he was like, "what did you order this time?". I told him nothing and that I was totally being honest. haha.

So I opened the box and in it were a lot of little goodies from the CW fall premieres, like Nikita, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, 90210, and Hart & Dixie. Bing does a lot of promotions and this was one of them. I am very thankful for all these things and I would love to thank Tanya for being an amazing person! =)

Good things come when you wait patiently

2011-09-25T16:49:00.000-07:00

Wow! I have some good news. Some news which I have been waiting for for like 4 or 5 years, and other news which has to do with a contest.

First good news. About 4 or 5 years ago, I took a test for employment with the United States Postal Service. I took one test for the District of Riverside and the other for the District of Santa Ana. I passed both test. Well, a couple of days later I get an interview for a Rural Carrier for Riverside, but I was denied because I needed at least 2 years of driving experience, which I didn't have. Now, years later, I get an e-mail stating that I was chosen for an interview for the District of Santa Ana (which includes Santa Ana, Anaheim, Long Beach, and City of Industry processing and distribution centers)for the position Postal Support Employee (PSE) Clerk. This position is working in the processing and distribution center in any of the four locations. It's not for a mail carrier position. I'm excited because I did get the job, pretty much if you pass the test you get the job you apply for but only if you are called in for an interview. So now I'm just waiting to see where I'll be working at. I'm hoping I get either Santa Ana or Anaheim but it's not guaranteed. We shall see.

Second good news. I won two tickets to go to the premiere of the movie Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman in Los Angeles, CA on October 2nd. I haven't won something in a long time. When I was in my early 20's, I would win tickets to concerts and events a lot. Like every month I was some where new and for free. This time I get to thank Bing, the Bing Insiders (aka Bing Advocacy Program), and especially Tanya the team Manager for choosing me to be the winner. I can't wait and I will keep all of you posted as to what happens next in my life. =)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Good News!

2011-09-16T23:57:00.000-07:00

I passed the first step to the Sheriff 911 Communications Officer! I'm super excited. The next step is the CritiCall exam and I have that schedule for the 20th of October. Eeek, nervous on that one. I 'm hoping and praying that I do good.

On another good note, I also got into one of the classes that I was on the waiting list for. After e-mailing all the professors in all the classes I was in the wait list for, two weeks later and a couple days before registration dates were over
, I got an e-mail from my Physical Anthropology teacher saying that I was in. Super excited on that one. I at least wanted to take one course.

My class meets on Tuesdays nights and this past Tuesday, when I went to class, there were like 15 students that were going to get dropped because they didn't show up. I was like wow! At first they register knowing that there are a lot of people on the wait list wanting to actually take the class then they fail to show up and drop. This makes me sad. Any who, I'm excited for all these good things. All I need at the moment is a job, because being how we are right now is not fun at all.

What's in a blog?

2011-09-16T23:47:00.000-07:00

That question I ask myself everyday. I don't beat myself with it but it is something I do think about when I sit here staring at a blank page. So once again I have nothing on my mind as to what to blog about. I had so many ideas, but as I sit here and look at my screen I draw a blank image in my head. Nothing comes to mind. I couldn't even think of a post title. I had to go back to re-write the first two sentence once I did come up with a title. I know before you start blogging you need something already in mind but for me there's nothing. Hopefully as I type away something will come up or else
I'd probably waste about 5 minutes of your life. I honestly don't want that to be the case. I do want to give my readers something to read that they'd want to come back and read my next post. Should this really be a concern? No. It is a positive way though for me to let somethings out and go public. Sure, I don't mind sharing my life with strangers, but to be honest I can't say much because I do have family members reading this and there are some things that I wouldn't want them to know. So as far as getting to personal, the relationship between my husband and I will be kept private. I will although, share things about myself like I have been.

Woah! Look at that. I actually did have something to blog about. Maybe it was interesting or not but it sure did relieve some tension for me. I went a little of the subject there for a little bit.

I would like to share something with you....

2011-09-06T02:18:00.000-07:00

I would like to share yesterday's Bing homepage image. Their Labor Day image to salute all of the hard workers in America was breathtaking to me. I just felt like wow this image is so beautiful. I just feel like I could never do whatever it was the man in the picture was doing, just because it looks so high. Eeek, lol. Every Bing homepage picture is amazing.

I would also like to share with you that I am now a member of the Bing Advocacy Program. We just work in letting the people that work for Bing know what is going on, and how they can make Bing better. Am I getting paid? No. It is a learning experience and tomorrow we will have our first virtual meeting. I can't wait! If you would like to join, all you need to do is go to Bing Advocacy Program website, go to the bottom of the page where it says "First time here?" and take a short survey. Then you will be contacted to see if you're in.

Labor Day Weekend

2011-09-06T01:53:00.000-07:00

This Labor day weekend was full of family get together's and a street fair. I had a really good time. On Saturday, was my grandmas 82nd birthday party. All of her sons, daughters, grandchildren, grand grand children and even grand grand grand children lol, where there. Yeah, it was a good night because they even got her a Mariachi
which she loves. I really hope that when I get her age that I will have a lot of love around me just like she has.

On Sunday, I went to the Orange Circle Street Fair in Orange, CA. I went with my sister, her fiancee, and one of my cousins with her husband and their son. I was a good night just a little too crowded. They had different kinds of food from different places around the world. Of course, I'm scared to try something new so I just went with a Polish dog, which I love! My sister and her fiancee had Bratwursts. My husband and my cousins husband had some California rolls, which they loved and wanted more of. I don't remember if my cousin had anything. Hmm lol. I took some pictures but for some reason my camera, or my hand, were being really shaky. So, some of the pictures came out blurry.

On Monday, Labor Day, I was awoken by family members that came over to visit and make a bar-b-q. We had carne asada, beans, rice, salsa, and salad. Typical Mexican bar-b-q. =). This day was also my older sisters Birthday, so I baked her some cupcakes. There was a problem though, she didn't show up =(. I gave out a few of the cupcakes to the kids that were here and saved her like 4 for her and her little family.

All and all it was a pretty good Labor Day weekend. How was your 3 day weekend?

2011-08-31T19:47:00.000-07:00

This past week I received an e-mail for a job I had applied for saying that I was eligible to take the first part of the hiring process for becoming a 911 Communications Officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Today, I took that first part which was a 2 part 5 minute each typing test online. Both test were the same. Best score is the one they will take. I'm hoping I did good so I can move on. If not, I'm hoping that they will let me re-take the test in the future. Anyway, the hiring process is as follows:

(1) Application
(2) Computerized typing exam (Passed!)

(3) Computerized multi-tasking CritiCall exam

(4) Oral Interview
(5) Dispatch Orientation
(6) Extensive Background Investigation; (a) Interview with Investigator, (b) Livescan, (c) Polygraph Examination
(7) Medical Examination

Then...
Once hired, you must be able to complete a twenty (20) week intensive hands-on training program, in addition to attending a 120 hour P.O.S.T. Certified Basic Dispatch Academy for P.O.S.T Certification

I'm happy, excited, nervous and scared at the same time. Wish me luck!

Fish Market

2011-08-28T21:28:00.000-07:00

Yesterday (Saturday, August 27th) I went to San Pedro, CA with a couple of family members and friends to the fish market. I personally do not like fish and seafood. I have something against fish and seafood, even though I'm a hypocrite because I like tuna salad, lol. I can't eat fish or seafood. It grosses me out when I see it and smell it. I don't know, it's just me. Anyway, as everyone else was eating their
seafood, I had a big juicy hamburger. At least half of it cause it started to give me a stomach ache. Luckily, I wasn't the only one who didn't like seafood. My husbands youngest brother ate a hamburger too and he ate my half as well. Even though I don't like it, I do love being near the ocean and harbor. It's so refreshing (except for the smell) and beautiful.

There were a lot of pigeons above the eating area that we had to keep looking up making sure we weren't sitting right below one. Or else.. well you know

You get to pick out a variety of fish or seafood.

Yummy!!!

Schools Supplies

2011-08-26T00:08:00.000-07:00

Went shopping for school supplies today. I didn't really buy anything other than a 1 1/2 inch binder, 2 college rule paper packets, a pencil pouch, & some highlighters. Some of the other things like pencils and pens I already have. It is a bit hard shopping for these things because sometimes you buy some thing that you really don't need, or you just forget what you need. I'm just going to wait until I get into a class (because I'm on the waiting list for all the classes I planned on registering in)
to see what I really will need. I do know that I want to buy a school bag. I went to Target and saw these cute Hello Kitty bags and at Wal-mart I saw a cute Barbie bag. Ahh I'm still a kid at heart and all kids things are so cute, lol. Well, I'm looking forward to school to start. It's been way too long. I do wish though, that I was buying makeup instead. =)

I almost bought this one at Wal-Mart but my husband said no.. lol

I liked this one cause it's gold!

This one is alright. I don't like the grey straps so much.

This one is cute.

Barbie! It looks cuter in person. I couldn't find an actual picture.

Parking Ticket

2011-08-24T16:17:00.000-07:00

I totally forgot that the street sweeper went by today. I went outside and saw that damn ticket on the windshield of my car. I usually set my alarm to let me know when to move my car, and I made sure last night
that it was on right, but for some reason it didn't go off this morning. Ugh, have to spend more money of the one we don't have. =( $41

Baby names.....

2011-08-24T00:51:00.000-07:00

Wow! Two blogs in one night. I need to post it out while it's still fresh in my mind.

No, I'm not pregnant yet, but I sure wish I was because this is taking way to long. We're still trying and trying, but nothing yet. They said making a baby was easy, but for us it hasn't been. We're always talking about what our baby names would be and my husband says he has first pick on the boys name,
and always says this soccer players name from A.C. Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimović. Please excuse my language but to me, and to many others, it sounds a little like slut, satan, he the bitch, lol.

Boy how I dislike this name a lot, and he knows it. lol

So, today (yesterday actually) I told him that I'm going to have my daughters middle names be Kandee and Dulce. Two of my favorite all time makeup, fashion, and all other things gurus. He looked at me, and said, "yeah right". Haha it's better than what he came up with.

This is Dulce Candy and you can subscribe to her blog at www.dulcecandy.com

This is Kandee Johnson and you can subscribe to her blogs at www.kandeej.com/ and kandeelandkandeeland.blogspot.com/

This concludes my blog posts for tonight. Hopefully I keep this up because I would so love it to get as many subscribers as possible. Good night to everyone on this side of the earth, good morning/afternoon to the other side. =)

Should've finished school a long time ago

2011-08-24T00:17:00.000-07:00

About 4 years ago I stopped going to school. About that time I had applied for a certificate in Administration of Justice, but my application was sent back to me because I forgot to fill something out. I never sent it back because I was in the process of moving out to my husbands (then boyfriend) house, so I totally forgot about it. Well, this year I applied for it again and I'm finally getting it. I will receive my State Certificate in Administration of Justice in October. I'm super excited!

Oh yeah, and I just found out that I only need 2.5 semester units to complete my A.A., A.S. in Administration of Justice. I'm excited for that too. So I'll be attending school this Fall. School starts on the 29th and as of right now I'm on the waiting list for all the classes I have chosen. I hope I get into at least one.

Where will I go from there?? I have no idea! I was thinking of joining the Academy to become a correctional officer or something but I don't think I'll make it through the academy. My problem with that is the running. I get these lumps on the bottom of legs (one on each) when I run. They hurt so bad that it just makes it impossible to keep going. They also appear when walking at a fast pace. Ugh it bugs. I have gone to check it out when I was in high school, but when I did go they weren't there because they only appear when I run or walk fast. The doctor didn't help at all. Maybe I can do some internship at the police & sheriff departments or at the coroners. Anyway, we shall see what happens.

haha I thought this was funny lol

3 Bdays In One Day

2011-08-08T16:06:00.000-07:00

This past weekend was two of my older sisters kids and her sister in laws birthday party. My sister had requested I do three separate cakes, but I decided to put the three cakes together making it a three tier cake. She had first told me to make a Wonder Woman cake for her daughter, a construction cake for her son and a guitar cake for her sister in-law. When she told me this I was like, "Oh my!". I would've done it, and I don't want to sound needy and stuff but I didn't have the money to pay for it all and she wasn't going to pay me cause it was a gift from me to them. After a while, she then told me to put her son and daughters cake together into a full sheet cake but still make a guitar cake. So that was a bit better. Then I couldn't find any
Wonder Woman that looked age appropriate for a 5 year old. When I went to Six Flags, I did buy her this cute baby looking wonder woman and I wanted to use that to draw on the cake but it was going to be a little hard for me. She likes anything princess and I went with that.

I ended up making three small round cakes, a 10in, 8in and 6 in. Each one represented one of them and all three of them loved it. Here is the end result.

Here are the three birthday celebrants. My niece always moves reason why she came out blurry.

Haha it almost looks like a topsy turvy cake.

I want to learn how to use fondant and gum paste so I don't have to use plastic or anything thats non-edible on the cakes.

It is a little lopsided or maybe a lot. lol

This is the doll I bought for my niece.

One more year for the big 3 - 0.....

2011-08-08T15:40:00.000-07:00

Last month (July 27th) was my 29th birthday. Instead of going out to a club or bar (I don't drink and it was my day so I picked to go to an amusement park instead), I decided to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA. I had an amazing time. The weather was perfect because although it was hot, there was a very cool breeze and it felt nice. I ended my birthday eating at Denny's after the park.

haha my husbands face. On Viper. I love how the background looks.

My mom decided to make me a small dinner the following Sunday (31st). She invited a couple of my close relatives. For desert I made two cheesecakes and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I wanted to have a theme going on, but only for the cupcakes because this wasn't a little kids bday party, lol. I love Mickey Mouse and I always have that I had to do something that represented that. At Wal-mart I had seen some Mickey Mouse sprinkles and I said that I had to have them, and pretty much this gave me an excuse to buy them. Then I went to Michael's and bought red cupcake cups, and red with white polka dots cupcake cups to represent Minnie Mouse. I also decided to make chocolate molds of swirls to represent the ears. The end results were cute and some of my cousins got the idea. Here are the end results.

The blur is because I accidentally dropped my camera on one of the cupcakes and the lens got frosting on it. I thought I had cleaned it good but as you can see, I didn't.

The mold I used had other designs, so I decided to add them the cupcakes as well. It made them look a little more professional.

Promotion and B-day Cake

So this past week my niece had her Kindergarten promotion and had requested for me to make her a Hello Kitty cake. I searched the web for a Hello Kitty with a graduation cap and I found a perfect picture, (I will post picture below so you can get an idea of what I was trying to do). Since it wasn't going to be for a party or anything like that I decided to make her a small one for her, her little sister, and brother. The cake came out cute but it wasn't the best.

This is where I got the idea from.

Thought I was finished here, then I realized I forgot all about the whiskers. I didn't have gray paste to outline the cap so that's why it looks like a big blob of black gel.

With the uneven whiskers

And here she is, the little Kindergarten graduate. =)

The other cake was for my little Brother's bday party. He didn't give me an idea of what to make, and I love ideas because it makes it easier for me. One of my cousins and my mom were around me when I was trying to figure out what to do, so they gave me their ideas and ended up with a Fourth of July type of cake, lol. He still liked it though.

Handwriting was made by my cousin Paula. I asked if if she had good cursive, she said yes, turns out that it's as bad as my cursive.. lol

The stars were my moms idea.

Vanilla cake
Whipped cream icing filling
Fresh strawberries
Whipped Icing

I still need a lot more practice in like getting the icing a lot smoother and in the lettering.

More deliciouness!

Really wished it would've worked on my skin...

So, I bought the Maybelline New York FIT ME Foundation and it sucks balls! The coverage is nice but it just wasn't fit for my skin. I got a freaking allergic reaction. I've worn it twice, and the first time it just made my skin dry. I didn't really think anything of it, I just thought it was cause of the weather. Yesterday, when I was at my sisters house, I thought I was just allergic to her room, lol so I told her to give me some allergy pills. This morning, OMG, my face was burning and it was extremely dry and red. It still itches and burns
right now. Not good. I have dry, itchy skin cause of my eczema. So yeah, I'll just stick to my Urban Decay Surreal Skin Cream To Powder Foundation, even though it's a little on the pricey side.

Loved the coverage and how natural it looked, but really wish I wasn't allergic to it. =(

Love this one!
