Black Shoe Love

I love a good black shoe that will go with anything in my closet and these recent purchases are no exception. Trying on a new pair of shoes is absouletly orgasmic and it's even better when the shoe fits. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me and are comfortable because I wear a size 11 and I have wide feet. So whenever I come across a pair of shoes that A. fit me, B. are cute, and C. are affordable I jump for joy; and thats exactly what i did when I found these shoes. These shoes are cute, versatile, and would fit right into any ones shoe collection.

I have been eyeing these boots since last year and so far I don't regret my purchase. They are a little stiff in the ankle area but I'm sure with time it will loosen up.

These babies were on clearance when I got them and they are size 10 which is fine because they arent incredible snug, It also helps that this shoes heel is low. Granted I do try to buy shoes in my exact size but these were to cute to pass up and they arent uncomfortable so win win.

Last but not least the Lace Up's. I've been yearning for a shoe in this style and in my size since the fall but everywhere I searched I could only find a max size of 10, which is a big fat no no. I've learned the hard way that if I buy a heeled shoe in a 10 then I'm just asking for trouble. So when NastyGal came out with their own shoe brand with the shoe I wanted, in the style I wanted, and in my size I jumped for joy. Yes i know material posions should't bring me as much happiness as they do but certain things do and when they do I am happy for weeks on end.

What shoes have you guys added your collections lately? Anyone else have a hard time finding shoes in size 11 or up?

Hey guys I thought I would share some images from this past weekend. I became a god mother for the first time!!!!!!!!! I was beyond happy about it because you know my godson is absoulely adorable. I wore this lace dress that I got recently from Forever 21 and a pair of wedges from target. Later on that day me and my family went out to eat some pretty good haitian food. All in all I had a pretty good weekend. How about you?

Hi guys and Happy New year!!!!

I don't know about you guys but I love receiving and buying new cosmetic products anytime of the year, this year being no exception. These are just a few things that I received for Christmas and that I also bought myself . Check them all out below.

First things firsts are the Real Techniques makeup brushes. I have been dying to get my hands on these brushes every since they came out but I couldn't justify buying them seeing as I already have a full set of makeup brushes that don't need replacing. But my awesome siblings got them for me as Christmas gifts and I am forever grateful because these brushes are awesome. They are soft,easy to work worth, and very affordable.

Next up are some eyeliners by Jordana in Mint and Blue Divine. They are both very pretty colors that glide onto the skin very easily.

I also purchased my first blush from Wet n' Wild in Berry Shimmer and bronzer from the Covergirl queen collection in Ebony Bronze.

Lastly are three of my favorite things that I was gifted and bought my myself. The Maybelline Color Tattoo's in Pomagranite Pink, Bad to the bronze and the new Urban decay naked pallet called Naked Basics. All three of these things have been fun to play with and I hope to post some makeup looks in the future showing them off.

All of these products can be purchased at your local drugstore and ulta(dot)com. Did any of you receive or purchase any new makeup for the new year?

Here are just a couple of my favorite nail lacquers for the spring/summer season that I plan on wearing frequently. Its pretty hard to choose just one as my favorite color because they are all wonderfully visually appealing in different ways but for now I would say the China Glaze in "Bare If You Dare" is my current fave. Its an orangey creamsicle shade that applies very opaque. One coat is fine but i put on two just for safe measure. Also a great base/top coat that i really like is sally hansen's double duty. It gets the job done and dries pretty quickly.

H&M: Fall 2012 Preview

It may only be spring but H&M is already ready for the fall 2012 season with the recent release of the 2012 fall collection. These are only a few images from the entire collection and my personal favorites. It Comes with the usually fall trends ie. dark greens, golds,and leather. The thing that I'm most looking forward to is the mustard yellow sweater in the very first image. Anyone else excited for this release?

Best in Beauty: Rosebud Perfume CO. ~ Lip Balm

Let me start off by saying that this is truly a gift from the beauty gods. Yes I know a bit dramatic but its true. This lip balm in my opinion is one of the best out there and I've tried them all. This I feel compared to many drug store brands does not dry my lips out after a while but instead aids in keeping my lips moisturized over time. As you can see I own the tube version as well as the pot. Either or works wonderfully it all depends on preference in application. The tube is slightly less expensive by a dollar but the pot lasts longer. The tube has 0.5 oz verses the pot which has 0.8 oz. I personally love the pot more because it is strawberry scented verses the tube which is a bit minty smelling without the tingling sensation that some balms have. They do also come in other scents if you don't like mint or strawberry. They both can be purchased at Sephora stores and Sephora.com.

Spring is finally here and man does it feel good. Spring in South Florida is almost perfect its not to hot most days and there is usually always a nice breeze blowing by. Case in point today was super sunny when i stepped out to run a few errands but by the time i got home the sun was gone and there was nothing but a cool rain breeze to comfort me. No biggie though i made the best of the lack of lighting and warmth.

Target has finally released a couple images from the latest collaboration with the fabulous designer Jason Wu. I can honestly say my heart melted just a tad with glee. For those of you who don't know who Jason Wu is or know of his work here is a quick rundown. 1 ~ Wu launched his ready-to-wear line of clothes with earnings from his years of doll designs. His first full collection debuted in 2006 and won the Fashion Group International's Rising Star award in 2008. 2 ~ Wu's early clients included Ivana Trump, January Jones, and Amber Valletta. He also worked extensively with drag queen RuPaul, ultimately designing six RuPaul dolls. 3 ~ Last but not least Michelle Obama has worn his designs, to be specific a custom-designed one-shoulder, floor-length white chiffon gown, at the inaugural ball on the night of President Barack Obama's inauguration. I don't know about you guys but i can't wait for this release and as far as the previews go Jason Wu won't be disappointing. The Release date is the 5th of February. Is anyone else as excited as me for this new chapter of the Jason Wu clothing line.

I had a pretty hard time naming this outfit post because it was just an outfit of the day so I just played with the name of the color of my thrifted sweater. "Blue" for obvious reasons and "Clues" for the fact that i was clueless about a good name. In my personal i love to put things together that are a bit unexpected hence the name of the post. I also love the idea of putting together minimal jewelry, plaid, and a simple black bootie all together in a outfit. Gold accents add a little dazzle to the outfit but don't overshadow the dress. This a great date night outfit that can easily transition into the day with flats and black opaque leggings.
