Read & Tough Question

I have been busy teaching Jason read and write. I am SOO happy because he could read in short time. I was hunting books for him to read from the library. Every day before he go to bed, we spend around 20 - 30 minutes to read or write :D

I read an article about "Who is get the most attention: your child or your smart phone". Without thinking, my answer is my children. Because I don't have a smart phone. LOL.

But if the question is, "Who is get the most attention: your child or your computer." That will be a tough question for me. LOL. It might be a tough question, but my answer is my children :D

Cold temperature

I am getting slowly these days, maybe because the weather is cold ^__^. Last Friday, there was lots of snow. When Matthew and I went to do groceries during the snowing, all he did just looking the sky. I do have a photo Matthew and his first snow. I'll share later because I don't have time to upload yet. This Winter, may not too must snow like last Winter but the temperature more colder than last Winter.

Because of that, Matthew and I go to outside when it is really necessary. We spent most of our times just inside and do fun. Like this one.

My Dream Book

When I was a little girl, I had a dream book. My dream book was full of cutting pictures that I cut from magazines or newspapers. Mostly it was landscape pictures. I imagined myself that I was there in that pictures. Besides, landscape pictures I liked to cut pictures where lots of teenagers took a break waiting their next classes. I imagined myself that I could go to college as well. That time, it felt like impossible for me to go to college because we live because of charity from my uncle. After graduated from high school, I worked. With helped from my ex-director where I used to work. I went to college.

September 2004, I move from Asia to Europe (the Netherlands). It was a big step of my life. Now, every day I feel like I live in that landscape pictures on my dream book with two children and a husband that love me SOOO much.

The point of this post is never give up of your dream. Every thing is possible with your believe, work hard and work hard. Don't just sit and do nothing, your dream will not just come to you. Although, I don't have my dream book in reality anymore. But still, I have it in my head. I do have few countries that I would like to visit someday ^___*

Matthew is 7 months now ^____* He likes watching K3 or Plop music at Youtube and torn papers. I have to keep him busy all times after his eat or drink. Thanks God, he has regular time to take a morning and afternoon sleep. In the morning, he sleep around 2 hours and in the morning around 45 minutes until 1 hour. Can't wait to see him sit, walk and then run hi hi hi hi....

1. School's vacation was over. Jason is happy to go to school again.

2. Taking a nap doesn't have any problem anymore for Matthew. YES!!!

3. We have a plan to go on vacation next Summer. The only problem is hubby still not get permission for few days off in Summer :((

4. If everything going right, my mother will come again here this Summer before Matthew's 1st birthday. Yippeee...

5. Finally I figure it out how to install share button :D

6. January is awesome month.

7. Every days are THANKFUL, my family and my talents. Without them, I am lonely.

8. I bought three second hand books for Matthew. I hope they arrive SOON.

Van Blankendaell Park - part 2

26 December 2011, we went to Van Blankendaell park. It was not easy travel with Matthew at the beginning but in the end we had fun. Jason was a little bit disappointed could not take this train, because it was not possible for us to take this mini train with Matthew and his buggy. I am sure next time we will go there again.

I took more than thousand photos per year. And these are my favorite shots from last year.

At Erasmus Bridge, Rotterdam. It was cloudy but we had FUN.

20 weeks ultrasound.
When we knew it was a BOY and healthy.

Can't wait to take MORE shots of tulips this spring.

Jason asked me to take his photos. He is still my MODEL.

On Christmas day

It was Matthew's first Christmas and I made a new family photo for this year. Great photo for ONE shot only :D Matthew was not patient.

Jason and Matthew were happy received all their Christmas gifts. We had a great Christmas lunch at my hubby's friend and family. Too bad, we could not too long stayed at their house because Matthew could not take a nap at their house. We have a problem already trying to make him take a nap at home, with different house made us had a double problem :(( This is my favorite shot, Matthew and Chris. Chris is three months old younger than Matthew. Love to see they grow up together and play.

Today, we went to the zoo and I took LOTS of photos. Oh boy.... too many photos in three days time that I would like to share. Too many stories that I would like to write. I wish I hope MORE times sitting behind my laptop :D

1. Bless November and December months. I got few customized orders, writing tasks and great sales.

2. Feels great after taking few fun photos. I am TOO busy with other things and doesn't have time to "play" with my DSLR.

3. Matthew is trying to touch my face every time he wakes up and when he is going to bed. So sweet....

4. I am FULL of energy.

5. Matthew is starting to understand when he is watching the television. These are his favorite series that I let him watch everyday at the television.

7th Anniversary

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary. There was nothing special, we just went out for dinner. The weather is very terrible since the last few days. We have storm. Two months ago, I posted my thankful list. I hope you don't mind if I share it again in here ^____*:

I am thankful with all we have.
I am thankful to have such a wonderful husband.
I am thankful for our children.
I am thankful because we didn't matter what is our children gender.
The most important is our children are healthy mental and physically.
I am thankful for my talents.
I am thankful because I don't care with all those people said about me anymore.

Presentation

Tuesday last week (22 November), we went to see the presentation with theme TRAVELING from Jason's school. It started at 1.45 pm until 3 pm. We were afraid that Matthew cried but thanks God, he didn't. Around 30 minutes we was sleeping, meanwhile it was SOOO crowded at the hall. And the rest of the time, he was so sweet sat with hubby looking the presentation. There were other children that bigger than Matthew (around 1 - 2 years old) and they were crying.

I took few photos but the result were not too good :(( very disappointed because I didn't bring my DSLR camera. At least, the videos that I took was BETTER than my photos.

Time flew so fast. Matthew is 5 months old now. He likes lying down with his tummy now. He can do it by himself ^___^.

Jason likes to spend more time with Matthew as well.

Sint Nicolas 2011

Last Saturday, Jason and I went to see Sint Nicolas. He came to our village. It was so busy, Jason could not see well. But when Sint Nicolas and his assistants went to the Church, we were make sure that Jason could get a VERY good sit and we were. Jason met a few of his classmates.

This year, Jason didn't walk and sing like last year on Sint Maarten's day (every 11 November). It was because he had to go to swim course. Last year, he went with his classmates and got lots of candies :D

He didn't too disappointed because he didn't walk and sing on Sint Maarten's day. I told him, just sing for me and I gave you lots of candies ^___^.

..... for introducing music and book to children. At least that what I had done to Jason and Matthew. I was introducing music to Matthew when his age around 2,5 months old. With books, around 3 months old.

This is the first song that I was introducing to Matthew.

Believe me or not, it is helps me a lots when I change him a diaper or clothing. Sometimes, he is starting get nagging when I am too long changing him clothing. Then I start to sing that song, although I only know little bit lyrics. He is stop nagging and look at me.

Same with song, at beginning I did introduce him just one book that I continue to read for him everyday. Now, every time I hold that book. He knows and start kicking move with his foot meanings of joy.

Tummy Time

Few weeks ago, I was not sure put Matthew on his tummy. But now, 4-5 times a day for "tummy time". He is getting better and strong with his neck. At beginning, Matthew didn't like it but after few times he did at psychotherapy. Now, there is NO problem when I try it at home :D

1. Matthew is 4 months old. He is starting to get his first meal.

2. We were spending our 1/2 day at Schiphol, Amsterdam. My mother went back to Jakarta after 3 months in here. Coming more story and photos while we were at Schiphol later at my travel's blog.

3. Hubby gave me a surprise. He bought me mini Mars, Twix and Bounty. Most women are trying to lose some of her weight after giving a birth, and my hubby thought I need to gain my weight after giving a birth. LOL.

Today, we went to the psychotherapy for Matthew. We met a woman whom has three daughters and just giving a birth her fourth children.

Me: Good morning. Congratulation for your new baby.
Her: Thank you. Same for your too.

Me: Thank you. Is a boy or a girl?
Her: A boy.

Me: FINALLY.
Her: ha...ha...ha...ha... (she was laughing so hard). Yep, lots of people said to us lately :D

I am preparing Matthew's first meal. Yesterday, I bought him new spoons. Today, I will buy him new bowls. I am excited to give Matthew's first meal :D Back, I remember Jason's first meal and now Jason is 5 years old. Oh boy....time flew so fast.

Sometimes, when Matthew has a difficulty with taking a nap. We put him at his buggy, push him forward and backward like this. Jason really likes to help :D

Glad to have time to be here again. Jason was sick the whole week :(( His weight drop to 1,5 kg in a week. And I was too tired to update our activities in this blog. Let's see what happened to us the last few days since my last update.

I changed layout my shopping blog.

I am VERY busy preparing holidays gifts 2011.

Most of my times is for Matthew. He is almost 3,5 month and he can laughing hard :D His weight is 6,3 kg. His skin have a problem almost like Jason. There has not been one day that I don't browse internet looking the right cream for his skin. My hubby and I accept this problem with open heart, stay strong and keep positive thinking.

Baptism

Yesterday, we went to the church for Matthew baptized. We keep it simple, we invited only family. I am so relief because we did baptism Matthew. We were glad because Matthew didn't cry at all in church. He was sleep around half of the ceremony.
