PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD (December 31, 2025) – The legendary “Roadside Queen” and 1999 Road March winner, Sanell Dempster, has officially entered the 2026 Carnival arena with her high-energy Power Soca release, “De Riddim.”

Following a string of successful releases in 2025, including the unity anthem “R.I.P (Respect Is Paramount)” and the infectious “Too Small,” Dempster is shifting gears. “De Riddim” is a pure, unadulterated Power Soca track designed for the festival stage and the pavement of the Savannah.
Produced by her longtime collaborator Terrence “T-One” James, “De Riddim” captures the essence of classic Carnival energy while pushing the boundaries of modern sound. The track features Dempster’s signature powerhouse vocals—the same voice that drove “The River” to historic heights—over a pulse-pounding beat that demands movement.
