Normally my go to pizza dough recipe comes from Jim Lahey's My Bread. Over Christmas I made his Pizza with Onions. I was dubious about the it having enough flavor with the simple selection of ingredients. Boy did it. Light, yet filling it made me eager to try Steve Sullivan's Pizza with Onion Confit, from Baking with Julia.

For me, the holidays don't end until the Bafana comes. This year little christmas falls on Sunday. A perfect day to have a get together to undecorate and sit down for another terrific meal.

I don’t know about you, but I am really ready for the week to end…. The frenzy before the holiday adds a mania to life’s daily dramas. I have not been to the mall in years, the mere thought of it makes me cringe.

When I lived in England I stumbled across a really cool shop, you walked in and they offered you a glass of wine or cup of tea and simply allowed you to wander and wind down. That is the kind of experience I hope you will have if you have the time to pay us a visit.

As it is the season of giving, we invite you to leave a small donation to our local food pantries and we will take 50% off any purchases you make.

I am impatient and I wanted to actually be able to try these for myself; so I adapted the idea to what I had in my gluten free pantry, Divine, delicious and decadent.
