Today, i meet a friend who was talking about Feng Shui. Well, we all know that Feng Shui is the art of creating balance and harmony in your surroundings. Feng Shui in your bedroom is a vital because we spend almost a third of our time in our bedroom. One can start creating balance and harmony by decluttering the space of things you do not use or need. Play special attention to the southeast area of each room as this is the feng shui area of wealth.

BED
Place your bed's headboard 7 to 9 inches away from the wall to allow a free flow of energy and air as you sleep. It is also important not to have the foot of the bed face the doorway, due to the influx of energy from the rest of the house, which can disrupt our sleep. A mirror of any sort should not face the bed. It is believed that if you are single and have a mirror facing your bed, you will feel lonely because you "see" two people and there is only one. Having a mirror facing your bed is also believed to drain your energy while you sleep. It is therefore advisable to reposition the mirror so it is not facing your bed, get rid of the mirror or cover the mirror with a cloth before going to bed to disperse the energy.

WORK AREA

Keep work outside the bedroom. Computers, desks, desk lamps and anything business related should be kept in another area of the house. Work and rest do not go together, so separate the two. If you lack the space to do so, then buy a room divider or shade that will create a separate area for your work. It is also believed that bringing work-related items into the bedroom takes the romance out of a relationship.

ENHANCE THE WEALTH AREA WITH SYMBOLS OF PROSPERITY

Enhance the wealth area with bowls of coins, a lucky bamboo plant, Chinese coins, and money. If you decide to use a lucky bamboo plant, it is important that the plant remains healthy and its pores clean and dust free. You should water the plant with filtered or rain water for optimum health. If you eventually start to see that your plant is not growing well or appears it is unhealthy, it is vital that you remove the plant from your home because sick plants rob you of your wealth.
